Scott loved Tales of Arise. We picked it up for Denis for Christmas and he played it and then immediately replayed it with a different character. Hell yeah broforce! We got lucky but him pick this up at GameStop. We've played through it twice and I can see us playing through it many more times. I think we have it on the PS4 if memory serves me, correct.
Everyone apparently has loved Tales of Arise so far! I have to try it out! Broforce is just awesome! I could play it again and again. I would however play it on Playstation next time though. That Switch version had it's share of framerate problems that were pretty bad at times.
There are some good picks. I have enjoyed watching people play Dragon's Dogma but I have also been hearing a lot of stuff has been wrong with it. Still supper entertaining as always!
Thanks Lilitha! Yeah i'm happy with what i got. Dragon's Dogma does have it's problems but overall the game is just so fun that it is a strong contender in my goty list so far.
Yeah i think people were pissed about the microtransactions for the most part. Also the fast travel system is kinda limited and companions can be kinda idiots but i personally really enjoyed the game still.
Really want Tales of Arise but it's always really expensive even on sale! :[ The gaming industry is seriously its own worst enemy, things have to change in various ways and not in the near future, as close to immediately as possible. Otherwise they're heading for a big crash. Pretty sure Ubisoft is boned regardless hah. Capcom were doing well until this came out, there had been early microtransaction stuff with them but people seemed optimistic and they were making great stuff. Then they calmly shot themselves in the foot with an elephant gun. Sounds like a them problem. 1 game, 1 fancy cat frisbee.
Yeah i just happened to run at Tales of Arise while there was a sale so got a good deal on it. Had to pick it up cause jrpg's tend to be rarely on good sale. Yeah pricings of games is getting out of hands. I think i'll focus more on indie and AA games in the future. Ubisoft could just collapse. Their pricing of the new Star Wars game is outrageous! I smell a terrible flop with all the controversy around it. I still like Capcom but they have their flaws too. Microtransactions have never bothered me though. Probably cause i don't even look at them. If game needs a lot of grinding that can be made easier with real money, well i'll probably never know about it but i will review the game grindy and boring.😂

Same, and you can bet they'll make it a timed exclusive in various places then wonder why nobody bought it at launch, those guys could turn any golden opportunity into a disaster. I don;t tend to mind them as a concept, the problem is (as ever) the way the big greedy guys use them. They've gone from "if you want more you can buy this" or as a time saver for people rich in money but not in time who want to play. But now the games are built around the microtransactions and they sell bits of it back to us as we go.
To be fair that game, and a lot of games probably cost a lot of money to make, and I put a lot of hours in tales of arise, I bought new, and I will gladly pay $60 for a game like this, or god of war, Tears of the kingdom, something like that, playing links awakening right now, $40 game maybe? Either way, good game
@@bryanstarlord7422 oh they definitely give you value for money, those big Japanese games are really good for that :) More just I can;t personally afford to buy many games at that price so they tend to be out of my reach.
Oh yeah i heard the pc version was pretty badly optimized. That sucks. I mean ps5 is around that 30fps too and i usually go with performance mode but i still enjoy it though. I play ps1 and ps2 games too so slideshow fps is something i'm used to.😄
