The confession cam was actually only added because the show ran too short, so they needed filler to make it long enough for one episode. Funny how later in the series, the confession cam becomes a crucial plot point.
That's because. We get a one on one with the characters. Man was it great being told all there feelings about everything there. But man most of them hated Chris.
Wow...i mean...credit to them for realizing the potential of that element but considering what they were satirizing they didnt have them from the start till they needed more minutes to add...really?
The biggest problem is this show has no target audience. It's aimed at young children, but it seems like it's trying to use the notable, well remembered characters that we all grew up with. The people who are kids watching won't know these characters, and the people who grew up with these characters won't like the new show style.
jeff jefferson I guess, but it does seem to be aiming a little more at little kids. This is a bad idea since it's based on a property for adults. It's why Adult Party Cartoon failed, even though it's kind of a reverse situation. It's probably meant to be called "Total Drama Jr." Maybe kind of like Disney Jr. or Adult Swim Jr. Speaking of which, this does kind of seem like this show would be more at home there, since it'd be pretty hard to air it on Nick Jr. or Disney Jr. I mean, you could put the older seasons of Total Drama on Adult Swim and people would be okay with it.
I suppose the target audience could end up being young kids, but from what I’ve seen, quite a few fans have liked it so far. They enjoy the cuteness of seeing their favourite characters as little kids. Whether or not that lasts is up for debate, but I saw quite a few people admit they enjoyed it after watching the first episode despite not liking the idea at first.
From what I remember, TD wasn't considered harsh enough to go in Teletoon's version of Adult Swim, Teletoon at Night. It was a buffer program before the block started, with Futurama airing just after the block started. Can't remember TD airing any time other than in the evening, though.
It was originally titled Total Daycare Drama as confirmed by Christine Thompson as well as ads by Cartoon Network. It was later titled Total Drama Daycare before becoming known as Total DramaRama, a reference to the audition tape from generation two contestant, Anne Maria.
I mean yeah it makes sense. It would’ve been way more fucking stupid if they threw Chris in the show how would it even work would chris be a toddler or a teenager. Actually scratch that the show would’ve been a million times better if they replaced Jude with Chris but he’s older than the other kids and he beats up on them like Angelica did in rugrats
@@Mario2Master He could've been a dumb spirit teen, revealing why he's such an asshole in the future. Or, just create a way to say that they're teen selves turned into kids. So many ways to do it, it's sad that we've been given so little to watch.
I get it. They wanted Chris's voice actor in Total Dramarama with another character he voiced in another show they created in a season where Chef is the lead host for a change. September 10, 2019, 10:23am
It's the same with Nikki and Emma. Except that Nikki doesn't have any lines in that Rainbow Juice flashback. Owen was right about Nikki's family moving away tho. September 13, 2019, 3:48pm
"Chris doesn't even have an in show reason for why he wants the cast to sing".... Um... he did have a reason. Singing shows have more ratings, the worse the singing, the bigger the ratings.
@Bryan Smith What was just said was the reason Chris wanted them to sing. It wasn't said in interviews. He stated in Walk Like An Egyptian Part 1 that singing reality shows are getting better ratings, so of course he wanted to copy an idea that brought ratings.
A better would be “Total Drama Reunion.” It’s them but fifteen years later. Remodel them and make their stereotypes as adults. Hell you can make them change is you wanna. It’d still be good cause the original cast brought charm.
PowahSlap Entertainmint They don't even look that different from when they were teenagers. They could have at least give them different clothes or looks
I think the worst part about this show is how disappointing it is. Fans were looking forward to a new Total Drama season that continued the continuity of the show, and instead... we got a baby show that isn’t even canon.
Honestly i think it may be due to one glaring issue in the finale of TD All Stars. Chris accidentally sent a good chunk of the contestants in that season flying away in balloons into space, those being Duncan, Courtney, Sam, Lindsay, Jo, Lightning, Sierra, and Scott. All the other 6 were either the finalists or got to assist the finalists. So i think that they accidentally shot their own series in the foot by killing off some of their best characters. And honestly, if they ever do another canon season, i think that it should have all the characters he sent in balloons return, but they are all mutated now (like Dakota or Zeek) and Chris makes a new season where two teams of those 8 have to join up with contestants from Pahkitew Island for a cash prize, lest Courtney sue Chris's pants off :3
If they do another season, they should just lean into the space thing and just go all-in on the joke that they're an outdated reality show out of ideas that's just phoning it in. Like make the contestants have to do tasks and stuff on a space station with science fiction crap and just play up how it's a campy nonsensical spinoff that's trying to be dumb enough to get views. With the current state of the franchise, that'd just work on way too many levels.
Yeah--I mean, Survivor has social media and hashtags now, so its parody being smart enough to phone it in and call out the fading interest in reality shows would be amazing.
I still think those baloons evetually just popped and when they felt they were fine. STILL they could always do another Ridonculous race season. just visit different places and add new characters and that's it. They could do an episode in Georgia (the country) I was surpried thye did the babies spinoff. Because I am a casual fan of the franchise and i was like "Are they rebooting the franchise? Why? the fanbase is still strong in this one. Not like when Omniverse drove half of the Ben 10 fanbase away"
Gee guy The video was claimed anyway. When you're dealing with audio, using approx 10 seconds or less clips is a safe(ish)-zone (though you can still get claimed, it's just not as likely). The editor used audio from the intro, so they could've done the same with voice clips. A good way around it is to also not play the video footage with the audio.
To improve this whole idea, instead of them just being babies, they should turn all contestants into babies because the reality show is losing ratings! So the business people behind the TV Show uses science to turn all contestants into babies to improve the ratings! This would also be a good way to justify the confession cam!
@@diegorojas2049 The other problem is that turning people into babies is horrifying. But if they made clones of the contestants who were babies, that could work.
Joseph Misinec Dude, you are talking about a guy who force his victims to risk their lives for every dangerous situation just for ratings. I think Chris wouldn’t really think of law suits or identity theft, first when making his reality show.
Total Drama Series to me: Island- Good Action- Not as good as Island, but still okay World Tour- Better than Action, not as good as Island Revenge- Good All Stars- Sucked Pahkitew Island- Mixed bag, but better than All Stars Ridonculous Race- Great return to form DramaRama- Why does this exist?
I agree in every aspect of that list.though i am more "dissapointing" towards all.stars than say "it sucks". Pahkitew Island is Like ARC-V. starts good. has rocky middle, then gets good again, and finale goes anticlimatic for some reason. My favorite seasons are First one, and Ridonculous race. and world tour has a personal favorite flavor for me because it in hindsight subverted the "underdog wins" BUT let the underdog got some nice try points
Elliot it’s different continuity, basically it’s like a separate reality, because in the original series they all had stated they meet for the first time during the first season. so this new show has nothing to do with the original story or state. and when they made it they decided to add two characters from their other show 16teen, being in the form of jude and nikki, nikki was in a cutaway while jude stays in this version of the show, it’s just a way for them to be like “hey guys, we made other shows too” and honestly total dramarama isn’t the worst reboot around as of now, i’ve seen worse, yeah compared to the original it’s not to good but meh, i’m planning on watching the show to see what happens.
Even though Sidekick is YTV, it would also be a very interesting connection if Kitty Ko from Sidekick was retroactively made to be the same Kitty we saw in The Ridonculous Race, and Sidekick took place a few years before the 1st season of Total Drama Island even happened. August 26, 2018, 1:55pm
There was a one-off joke about them being elderly in this show and Cody fucking died Not even exaggerating. He actually fucking died. Yet Chef was still alive for some reason.
The reason why A Pup Named Scooby Doo kinda worked was because it honestly was rather than cutting off the edge of the original Scooby Doo, it instead doubled down even harder on the cartoony aspects and presented itself as more of a classic slapstick cartoon with a vaguely Scooby Doo mystery theme slathered onto it. And it worked! It manage to capture some of the fun essence of old Loony Toons slapstick cartoons while giving it an episodic monster-of-the-week narrative to drive it along. How did this happen? Personally, I blame Red Herring!
Can't wait for Canadian Thanos to show up, do the typical Thanos-Infinity Gauntlet things, "you should've aimed for the head, eh" and half the Canadian-made shows disappear.
I can see why a lot of you are confused about why Jude is in this show, and that is because we don't want to see a toddler Chris! different world or not, it wouldn't make full sense to put him in the show as a toddler! plus, he showed up in one episode, so I hope the people were grateful they got to see him!
Random tangent: I personally think a video about shows which do things Mr. Enter hates _well_ could be neat. Bonus, it lets him talk about something he likes, which seems like much-needed relief for a content creator whose most popular series is called "Animated Atrocities".
Timothy McLean Those videos are rare, but he does them. Admirable Animations, and just barely past 100. There aren't a lot of Admirable Animations out there...
Ed, Edd n' Eddy is a show that does stuff Mr. Enter hates well. It does them so well that it actually makes him like it, without any aid from his nostalgia goggles.
I think it would have worked better if Chris purchased an anti-aging ray, and used it on the campers to make themselves younger. That way the challenges will become more difficult, and the contestants will have to improvise to win. They'll keep their teenage personas, just in younger bodies. Plus, it would give insight into what they were like as kids (strengthening character bonds, and understanding). It may seem a bit far-fetched, but then again they did do an entire season where the island is infested with toxic waste (fighting off mutants, and such). So, I guess it wouldn't be that much of a stretch.
If they ever do the All-stars season right they can always bring the goths back and have them win. ALSO Chris and Don starting as best pals and ending the season hating each other
To be honest, I think it might have been a better decision to have Chef as the daycare owner, as I always felt that Chef had a better dynamic with the kids than Chris did, as Chris always kinda felt more detached to me, and while that worked in total drama island, and so on, I don't think that would have worked as well in a daycare setting, as I think Chris might be a bit too intense for that kinda scene, and would most likely make people uncomfortable watching small children get tortured as opposed to teenagers who could handle it better. And overall, I always kinda liked Chef more so than Chris, as I saw Chef similarly to early Mr. Krabbs, where he was somewhat parental and almost comforting at times. I never felt that with Chris. I dunno, but that's my guess. Also, I have no idea why Jude was there.
Leira Whitehart Definitely, Chef was always the more responsible and honestly less evil of the two adults, hell in later seasons when Chris went in jail he was basically a guardian to him so chef could be a good daycare owner.
@@tevinanarchy774 yeah, totally! I've always liked Chef better than Chris, because he felt a bit more human. While Chris is just a psychopath who activity enjoys the pain of others, Chef always felt more caring in a way. Like a tough love kinda thing. Sure, he could enjoy other's pain as well, but he would always call out Chris if it seemed like he was going too far, even for him. To be honest, Chef just always kinda felt like someone I could be comfortable being around. He felt weirdly fatherly and nurturing at times. Not all the time obviously, but a few times I'd say. Chris just felt unstable. I dunno, overall, I just think if I had to pick either of those two to run a daycare, it'd be Chef. I feel like letting Chris around small children would be a mistake, if how he treats teenagers is any indication.
Yeah, when Mr.enter asked why Chris wasn't the daycare owner I immediately remembered something Morty said about Rick in Rick and Morty. "He's like a demon, or a fucked up god."
I'm surprised you didn't comment on Duncan ripping out Chef's Eye and replaced it with a Marble xD They're trying to be more tamed but at the same time more disturbing
I think I might be one of the only people who would actually recommend Total Drama Action. Yes it was a bit of a re-hash of the first season, but they compensated for not having any new characters by showing new aspects of the existing ones, giving more screen-time to characters who got voted out almost immediately in the first season, or showing how their interpersonal relationships change the way they respond to similar situations. If you didn't really like Island, then Action definitely isn't going to do anything to pull you in, but if you did enjoy the first one, then I think the second season is worth watching.
Luna Strong I agree dude. I've seen both Island and Action. not every episode, but most of them. And I hate reality tv shows actually. But not the Total Drama series, ironically enough.
That's also why I liked Total Drama World Tour, plus music, the few love triangles and the conflicts of having a stalker-y fan join the show. March 21, 2019, 9:46pm
@@snowbringercult Agreed! We got a lot more Harold, Justin and Beth, and Justin can finally talk now. He used to stay quiet all the time after the first Total Drama Island episode, and that was part of his charm because silence is golden. August 25, 2019, 12:20pm
"Is this supposed to connect their universes together?" I hate to be this guy- but in Total Drama Action there was an episode where they literally performed the 6teen theme song(the spy movie episode), and I'm sure it's been peppered throughout the other season I didn't bother watching. I think they've always been on the wannabe-TeleToonsCU thing
I bet 6teen may not be the only animated series in this Total Drama cinematic universe. What if Sidekick (even though it is from YTV, not Teletoon) is a prequel to The Ridonculous Race, and they both have the same Kitty and The Ridonculous Race has Sidekick's Kitty Ko grown up? If Total Dramarama had a toddler version of Jude from 6teen, then maybe The Ridonculous Race has a teenage version of Kitty from Sidekick. How cool would that be? September 20, 2019, 3:57pm
Maybe it's my own biases, but Transformers to me sounds like the worst franchise for a baby spin off. I mean, the premise of the series is about a violent war. What would the baby spin off be? Optimus and Megatron fighting over who gets to play in the sandbox?
The people who made total drama, are great at making shows. They know how to create compelling characters and conduct lovable stories. For example, their series "6Teen" or "Surfs Up". They re-use the same voice actors from their previous shows, which pays off beautifully. It lets you remember the old, but the talent of their cast quickly lets you forget their previous characters, as they become someone new, and get progressively better with each new day and each new show. The problem here, is that they obviously became more attached to total drama than any other show; not just them, but their producers, networks, and fans. They then tried to do what they are amazing at, by making something new, but within the same universe, and the same name, as to have freedom to create, while not losing their passionate following. Obviously, this has landed us where we are now. I beleive the death of this series can be marked by the point of deviation from all their other shows; the death of a coherent storyline and world. Honestly, up till now it wasnt too terrible; it was basically a different show each time, with chris as the only real constant (besides cameos). They tried treating it like a reality show, but animated, then made a new show in "the ridiculous race", but that fell apart by adding it into to total drama universe, as it broke their one and only rule: total drama=Chris McLean. By destroying the series' one constant, it died as a "series." Now we have to suffer through this zombified corpse of a show, rather than just accepting the death total drama deserves. RIP my favorite show from growing up. Just needed to rant that out. The only thing to save any legacy at all btw, is somehow tying this into the universe. It would suck, but at least it would be better than this....
So, by somehow killing Chris McLean (who for some reason in an episode of Total DramaRama has a cameo because even they knew that everyone watched the original for Chris) they've murdered what made this show fun.
Mr Enter is wrong about how there's no explanation for the singing in World Tour. If he watched the Celebrity Manhunt Special, at the end Chef brings up the lack of music and Chris replies with "Sure. Everyone else is doing it nowadays, so why not."
@@alysssabear if he wasn't paying atention why is he giving critism to a cartoon he didnt care to watch properly? Yeah, sorry crictism without good research is useless
Yes. Okay, so Noah said Alejandro was "Like Heather, only with social skills." But the social skills actually spawns a lot of differences, because that's how Alejandro manipulates people. It's also good to point out that Heather is openly critical to those she doesn't like, while Alejandro keeps his criticisms under wraps until he's alone.
I’ll be honest, when I heard about Dramarama, I was legit scared... I know _EXACTLY_ what happens when a series makes a “babies” spin-off Also World Tour is pretty great
There's more references to 6teen than that. In Ridonculous Race, MacArthur comments about getting revenge on her babysitter when she was six. After this, she says, "I know where you live, Jennifer Masterson!" Nikki also appears in a flashback scene in the second episode of Dramarama. So, it's confirmed 6teen and Total Drama have the same universe.
Though the ages must all be skewed if MacArthur is older than Jude (and therefore Jen) in this universe and she's actually much younger in the RR universe (I figured out that MacArthur was six in 2002...and 6teen began in 2004, so Jen could have been fourteen at the time.
Wandering Huntress I gotta agree the theme song is bad. The show is pretty harmless but at least it feels like there's life behind this project instead of the zombiness the formula was reaching. And I give the show credit for attempting to scale every one down. The kids act more like toddlers and kids than teenagers, and chief has appropriate reacts for him given the ages. Also that saving private Ryan joke actually made me laugh. Not something I'll have to watch, but I may peek in once in a while.
You know, I had an idea for a Total drama season. It was called Total drama Jurassic park and it took place on Isla Nublar after the events of Jurassic world. It could've made for an awesome season that kept the tone and style of the first season.
Out of all the "turn x characters into babies" shows, to me, Muppet Babies was the best. It had great music that didn't want you to stick a pencil in your ear, good animation, all the characters sounded and acted like themselves, creative use of stock footage to emphasize their imaginations running wild, and taught good lessons without coming off too preachy.
"all the characters sounded and acted like themselves"- Well, unless you count Scooter, for some reason they turned him into a computer nerd and gave him a never-seen-before twin sister. Plus they added Bean Bunny in later seasons who was still a kid when the rest of the muppets were grown up.
I think they added Skeeter so there would be another girl besides Piggy. I wonder why they never made her an official Muppet, real life puppet? I always liked her.
Ezekiel would've actually made for a decent fit for a "babies spinoff", what with his "boys rule" mentality. Turning him into Gollum might've hurt his chances to be in this show. He's underdeveloped prior to that. And even if it was him, I don't think that'd be enough to make this spinoff worth watching.
Three things 1) The 6teen references are there because they are in the same universe, and the shows are made by the same people. 2) I think it woulda been funny if going through the different parodies they just kept the same cast all the way through. Because I watched the show solely to watch the original campers be horrible and the Chef and Chris be horrible to them. 3) This could've actually worked with their format if instead of a baby show it was a big brother 'we dont actually vote anyone off we just get to watch them' deal that totally wasnt run by also Chris and Chef. They thought they could escape......there is no escape.....
Damn. Seems like CN is ruining all of my favorite shows. TDI, Teen Titans, PPG, Ben 10. I'm telling you if they touch Ed, Edd, and Eddy, we are going to have to fight.
Samuel Coley That’s Cartoon Network for you. They’re deader than a doornail. Nickelodeon is at least trying to redeem themselves, and they’re doing great at that. Cartoon Network is a piece of shit nowadays.
Not bad, but considering that this show is stated to be non-canon, that itself answered questions as to why the show is what it is. Even after a decade, TD still has a strong fanbase. So far, Dramarama has a few nods that a fan can recognize. However, first impressions matter, and if some people don't like it, that's quite fine. The show is warming up to me, personally.
A few sources state that one of the people in the TD staff, Christine Thompson, revealed that the spinoff takes place in an alternate universe. If you're curious as to how the idea of Total Dramrama was brought up, an interview shows co-creator Jennifer Pertsch talking about it. issuu.com/worldscreen/docs/tv_kids_miptv_2018/68 In short, Cartoon Network wanted more TD, so the staff wanted to try something different.
Honestly, the postponement of a Ridonculous Race sequel could've been used as the most damming evidence of creative sterility. It would be one thing if they'd released Total DramaRama after Pakhitew Island, where it could be seen as a last-ditch effort to keep fan interest. But Ridonculous Race is one of the best-recieved installments (at least 3rd behind World Tour & TDI), and two years in between for word to inform the creators…and this is what we get as a successor series. Making it worse is that by the looks of things 2020 is the earliest we can expect an RR sequel.
SB99 And also even though Cartoon Network did sensor/change a number of things for airing in the US (the first season of TDI at least) it would make more sense to do a show directly toward a younger demographic. Unfortunately Cartoon Network shows are skewing younger and younger. I'm getting nasty flashbacks of Krypto the Superdog and Baby Looney Tunes. We are seeing less and less shows at the PG rating and more and more toward a Y7-FV, that's a big shift. I haven't seen this big a shift at the network since the bad ol' days.
Nope it's a heck of a lot more sad and grasping. We're talking more of Muppet Babies /Baby Looney Tunes situation. Basically alternate reality / universe. So yeah, tripe. Pure tripe.
@@colleen4ever So many things that should have died off didn't. Baby versions of famous characters is just one of the worst survivors of the era. Though I personally don't put tiny toons in that category as it stood up on it's own the animation was great and it stands up petty well for it's age.
Total dramarama honestly had some good humor, it’s like a young child version of the hectics of the original, it’s a cute twist. It isn’t an original idea though, their is a webcomic from the characters were elementary school kids. It’s honest awesome and I love both the comic and the dramarama idea ^^
I'm pumped for the day Mr Enter does an Animated Atrocities on Thundercats Roar. CN sure knows how to fuck up badly with their atrocious TTG style reboots.
Honestly, I kinda like this show because it's just batshit bizarre. That is either an indication I need to watch more cartoons, or goes to show I have a soft spot for really bad stuff. Or both!
Wow. I liked to watch the original Total Drama (Island, Action, World Tour and Revenge of the Island), but Total Dramarama? I thought the "Show X but the main characters are kids now" trend was a thing of the 90s...
Michael Hewitt-Clarke That doesn’t make them the exact same character. Unlike Heather, who was a alpha bitch who governed her alliances through fear and earned a bad reputation for herself, Alejandro's approach involved winning over the trust of others by feigning kindess and kept his true nature hidden from the public. As Noah puts it, he's like Heather only with social skills.
Fun fact: if you kept up watching the show in the newest episode they finally shows that there was in fact a camer in front of them during the confession cam segments
Cartoon Network's new "Go-formula" where they take an old show that was popular, and they make a shitty reboot of it. Basically destroy the old show in every way possible
ThatGuyMarco03 I'm glad you asked. It's a the final season in Total Drama. And Gwen and Trent get back together!!! Along with Courtney and Duncan. And honestly I think that they should have this season on Adult Swim!!! Because there could be some pretty violent challenges. Like a challenge where they have to survive naked in the woods. They would have to fight zombie Ezekiel. Stuff like that.
ThatGuyMarco03 It's probably since Mr. Enter compared this show to Baby Looney Toons. Looney Toons has an even more infamous spinoff known as "Loonatics Unleashed"
I adore the Total Drama series. Like, around the time I was feeling suicidal and unhappy in my life, the show came around and just...made me happy. Owen was my favorite character from the series, and seeing him win the first season just got me hooked on the series, and I loved it ever since. It'll always be one of my favorites. Each season has its good parts and bad parts. Some are worse than others (Action and All-Stars are the two worst seasons; this isn't even up for debate), but all have SOMETHING to offer. Also, yes, reusing the same characters over and over might seem "boring", but have you seen The Challenge? It's another reality show that literally brings the same characters back over and over. Like, they're up to season 33 or something, and some people on there have played 10-20 times! No joke. People got MAD when Total Drama introduced new characters; we WANTED to see the old characters again and again. Because a new season could be mean more development for them, and we LIKED them! Honestly, Total Dramarama is indeed an insult to the series. It's just a complete joke and an embarrassment. So, I'm not at all upset at you picking it apart.
Because Action just completely ruined most all the characters from the previous season. Heather was a shell of herself. Gwen was an idiot. Trent was ruined. Duncan was as awful as ever. Courtney cheated to get back on and was awful. Geoff was horrendous. DJ once again proved he's a pointless character and had no reason to be there. Lashawna was despicable, as she always is. Owen's character got destroyed. And, instead of the Harold Vs. Lindsay final 2 we should've gotten, we got...Duncan vs. Beth. It was a joke. And All-Stars...if you talk about character assassination, this season takes the cake. No reason to even go into it.
@This Guy Can we stop it with assuming others are automatically faking something just because they talk about it? Like, seriously, why is the first response of the internet to literally anything dealing with mental illness/suicidal thoughts to immediately doubt them without knowing anything about them or their situation, for literally no reason. "Oh, this person says they've dealt with suicidal thoughts before! Obviously they're just faking it/don't REALLY have those thoughts, even though I know absolutely nothing about them, but CLEARLY this person i've never talked to before is faking mental illness because they mentioned a show they like helping them through those problems in their comment! Better give myself a pat on the back for figuring this one out, what a reasonable conclusion to draw!"
Total Dramarama doesn't bother me as much cause I'm use to these types of shows like Muppet Babies, Flintstone Kids, Yo Yogi, Baby Looney Tunes, A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, Clifford's Puppy Days, Jungle Cubs, The New Archies, Tom & Jerry Kids, Camp WWE and Iron Man: Armored Adventures.
When I was a kid I didn't realize how edgy the show was until I rewatched it as an adult, the jokes they make and the topics they touch on is something I never expected out of a kids show lol.
Well this is unexpecting. I'm a little surprised that Mr.Enter thinks the Total Drama series is ok, at least after the first season. Me, I'm a big fan of Total Drama as it's one of the most unique and funniest shows that Cartoon Network aired. I remembered keeping track week to week for new episodes from seasons 1-3. Centered around a Survivor parody it was interesting as I used to see some parts of Survivor back when it was on tv. When Revenge of the Island came around during the time, I didn't get interested and avoided it. However, years later when I saw that there's a 5th season with the original cast, I figured ok let's give this a try. So I then started season 4-5 and they're not that bad. The characters have some unique personality or traits that makes them weird and different from the rest. The story in Total Drama is something I'm sure a lot of us don't expect for as this is a survivor parody where characters will be randomly picked off one by one. I mean it's a contest show, who expects the stories to be good or bad. I think one of the best aspects of Total Drama are the characters and some of the comedy. As I said before the characters have some unique personalities or traits that makes them weird and different from the rest. Sure, they may be stereotypes, but who cares so long as they're written well right? There are some adult style of humor that can be a little inappropriate for kids, but at least they censored the more adult themes like nudity. When it came down to this, I have no idea why this exists when I'm pretty sure none of the characters look like that back when they were kids like Gwen or Duncan. But then I'm reminded of some of the more painful cartoons that try to act like baby shows like Teen Titans Go and Powerpuff Girls 2016, which I need to ask the networks; Why make cartoons for very little kids with brain dead humor and jokes not that funny like farting or twerking butts. That's not good for children and makes them completely stupid! Give them shows that feels right like Ed Edd and Eddy, Spongebob, Fairly Oddparents, Jimmy Neutron, Camp Lazlo, Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends, Teen Titans, Code Lyoko and so much more that have one thing cartoon shows today don't. A sense of balance. A balance of humor for both kids and adults, a story that can be interesting to both, a cast of characters that are simple with some complications.
Personally, I think Muppet Babies deserves more credit than it gets. It had a certain charm to it, and at times was very clever. I enjoy it to this day, and I'm 24.
"Total Drama has gone on far too long." Correct me if I'm wrong but Total Drama has only 5 seasons and 2 spin offs while there are other reality game shows that have 32 seasons and other cartoons that have just as much as that and even more spin offs, remakes, reboots and adaptions
Fun bit of trivia: Tiny Toon Adventures was originally conceived as a Baby Looney Tunes-type of show before they decided to rework the characters as students of the classic Looney Tunes.
The confession cam was actually only added because the show ran too short, so they needed filler to make it long enough for one episode. Funny how later in the series, the confession cam becomes a crucial plot point.

Wasn't it going to be called Total Drama Daycare & didn't they change the name because they were worried people would think it's a little kids show?
Jude is there because Chris and Jude are the same voice actor. Its basically keeping him in the show without him being Chris.
Doesn't really explain why hes in the Total drama universe.
Bryan Smith Huh?
that was an IN-SHOW REASON
Nigga that cake from the fucking show
Came goddamn autocorrect
@Bryan Smith What was just said was the reason Chris wanted them to sing. It wasn't said in interviews. He stated in Walk Like An Egyptian Part 1 that singing reality shows are getting better ratings, so of course he wanted to copy an idea that brought ratings.
A better would be “Total Drama Reunion.” It’s them but fifteen years later. Remodel them and make their stereotypes as adults. Hell you can make them change is you wanna. It’d still be good cause the original cast brought charm.

Total Drama Undead
And honestly, if they ever do another canon season, i think that it should have all the characters he sent in balloons return, but they are all mutated now (like Dakota or Zeek) and Chris makes a new season where two teams of those 8 have to join up with contestants from Pahkitew Island for a cash prize, lest Courtney sue Chris's pants off :3
Matthew Gillis
I believe that it’s been confirmed that the contestants in the balloons are all okay.
They could do an episode in Georgia (the country)
I was surpried thye did the babies spinoff. Because I am a casual fan of the franchise and i was like "Are they rebooting the franchise? Why? the fanbase is still strong in this one. Not like when Omniverse drove half of the Ben 10 fanbase away"
Whomever is editing Enter's videos, if he starts talking about voices, it helps to play audio from the show so we know what he's talking about.
Pretty sure its copyright strike shit
Gee guy
The video was claimed anyway. When you're dealing with audio, using approx 10 seconds or less clips is a safe(ish)-zone (though you can still get claimed, it's just not as likely). The editor used audio from the intro, so they could've done the same with voice clips. A good way around it is to also not play the video footage with the audio.
Shady Doorags Ayyy, Shady! Love your Bojack Horseman videos!
Nice tip Shady. ☺ 🖒 👍
well, then, i would dislike the video. *I HATE TOTAL DRAMA!*
To improve this whole idea, instead of them just being babies, they should turn all contestants into babies because the reality show is losing ratings! So the business people behind the TV Show uses science to turn all contestants into babies to improve the ratings! This would also be a good way to justify the confession cam!
The only problem with that, though, is that it's jumping the shark, which the series already did in seasons 4 5 and 6.
@@diegorojas2049 The other problem is that turning people into babies is horrifying. But if they made clones of the contestants who were babies, that could work.
@@handsomebrick but wouldn't they be sued for stealing the contestants image
Joseph Misinec Dude, you are talking about a guy who force his victims to risk their lives for every dangerous situation just for ratings. I think Chris wouldn’t really think of law suits or identity theft, first when making his reality show.
Chris would really be that evil to do that.
Honestly though, the original total drama is frickin' hilarious.
Everyone knows
Total Drama Series to me:
Island- Good
Action- Not as good as Island, but still okay
World Tour- Better than Action, not as good as Island
Revenge- Good
All Stars- Sucked
Pahkitew Island- Mixed bag, but better than All Stars
Ridonculous Race- Great return to form
DramaRama- Why does this exist?
I am in the same exact boat as you.
World Tour is actually my favorite season
I agree in every aspect of that list.though i am more "dissapointing" towards all.stars than say "it sucks".
Pahkitew Island is Like ARC-V. starts good. has rocky middle, then gets good again, and finale goes anticlimatic for some reason.

Why is Jude from 6teen in this?
Elliot
it’s different continuity, basically it’s like a separate reality, because in the original series they all had stated they meet for the first time during the first season.
so this new show has nothing to do with the original story or state.
and when they made it they decided to add two characters from their other show 16teen, being in the form of jude and nikki, nikki was in a cutaway while jude stays in this version of the show, it’s just a way for them to be like “hey guys, we made other shows too”
and honestly total dramarama isn’t the worst reboot around as of now, i’ve seen worse, yeah compared to the original it’s not to good but meh, i’m planning on watching the show to see what happens.

Random tangent: I personally think a video about shows which do things Mr. Enter hates _well_ could be neat. Bonus, it lets him talk about something he likes, which seems like much-needed relief for a content creator whose most popular series is called "Animated Atrocities".
Well, he does Admirable Animations...
I kinda like this idea. Maybe like a "Top 10 Shows That Did Bad Tropes Right" episode.
Timothy McLean You mean, after he does a show about doing X thing badly, he reviews a show that does it right? That could work!
Ryan Hartwell Ok, but why tf is Jude there?
Ryan Hartwell the toxic waste, the other island that was entirely mechanical, outfitted with terminator bears and missile trees

I'm surprised Transformers didn't get a baby spin-off.
Transformers Animated came close, with aging down Optimus Prime by a lot, but it still kept him an adult, and the series was generally really good.
They could all be those weird blue egg things from Revenge of the Fallen.

Kat meow when u say surfs up, do u mean stoked?

So, by somehow killing Chris McLean (who for some reason in an episode of Total DramaRama has a cameo because even they knew that everyone watched the original for Chris) they've murdered what made this show fun.
Mr Enter is wrong about how there's no explanation for the singing in World Tour. If he watched the Celebrity Manhunt Special, at the end Chef brings up the lack of music and Chris replies with "Sure. Everyone else is doing it nowadays, so why not."

That Theme song is top 10 bad, it’s so horrid. Aside from that, the Show I feel is harmless

I've been waiting for this review. Thank you
You know, I had an idea for a Total drama season.
Muppet Babies was rebooted this year. It airs on Disney Junior.
The Misunderstood Assassin
& They Replaced Skeeter with Summer
Even Pokemon did that in the 2nd Gen. with Pichu (Pikachu), Elekid (Electabuzz) just to name a few.
Still a better crossover than Dark Universe.
I actually have an idea how Total Drama could have dealt with the whole lack of new characters issue:
Just ask fans to submit their own.
As someone who occasionally watched Total Drama, the original is pretty good.
Christian I remember getting invested in that show back when it still aired in T.V. Can't believe it's been 10 years since it's debut.

BrandonTrex it fucking is him I knew it!
Don't forget Nicki was on here
Geoff was an expy of Jude. It would've made sense to have him in there, especially since Bridgette is in there.
Who remember Tom and Jerry kids? 🤮

Total Drama is a cartoon I heavily enjoy and would happily watch anytime.
This though?
I don't think so.
Three things
1) The 6teen references are there because they are in the same universe, and the shows are made by the same people.

Why are they babies? Magic? Time travel? Is it a prequel?
And did Chef have his voice change since I stopped watching?
Batzarro It's been confirmed to be an alternate universe
Wait Cle moved to Hollywood. So.....no more DJ? Awwwwwwww.
It's an AU
Nanomachines, son!
This is your best intro. I've never laughed harder or been more pumped for a review.
The footage of A Pup Named Scooby Doo was so incredibly nostalgic for me. I completely forgot that show existed.
"There's a mystery in town! So call the coolest pup around! Scooby, a pup named Scooby Doo!"
It's not cannon, where did you hear that
A few sources state that one of the people in the TD staff, Christine Thompson, revealed that the spinoff takes place in an alternate universe.
I liked TD but i will skip this one. I will wait for another Ridonculous race or new main season.....
SB99
And also even though Cartoon Network did sensor/change a number of things for airing in the US (the first season of TDI at least) it would make more sense to do a show directly toward a younger demographic.
Wow, two uploads in a week. You're spoiling us.
How is that a good thing
I'm hoping that Chris somehow altered time and space to make the contestants kids for this new show. If not, it's not worth my time.
geardog24 What a twist!
Nope it's a heck of a lot more sad and grasping.
We're talking more of Muppet Babies /Baby Looney Tunes situation.
Basically alternate reality / universe. So yeah, tripe. Pure tripe.
I thought that went out in the late 80's!
@@colleen4ever
So many things that should have died off didn't.
Baby versions of famous characters is just one of the worst survivors of the era.
Though I personally don't put tiny toons in that category as it stood up on it's own the animation was great and it stands up petty well for it's age.
This isn't too much of a stretch.
So uh...
What about Total Drama All Stars' Sundae Muddy Sundae?
i despise the entirety of All Stars but that was probably the worst episode
I think if he reviewed shows that tell an ongoing story he probably would have by now
I can only assume the confession cam is the kids talking to a baby monitor and they think they’re on tv or something
Jude is in there because... uuh...
HEY JUDE! Don't get me down? Sing a sad song and make it better?
kotlolish a reference to my favorite Beatles song... Very nice!
remember to let her into your heart than you can start to make it better
Look. I doubt his parents divorced and his father’s friend was his best father figure.
Take a bad spinoff and make it better. But I don't think it'll work.
GUESS WHO’S BACK! BACK AGAIN! ENTER’S BACK! TELL A FRIEND!
Guess who's back
Gess who's back
Geswhosback
Gswhsbak
Gshskbk
tyruryruryruryru...
HES BACK AGAIN AND ABOUT TIME TO CAUSE THIS TIME HES IN THE MOOD
Total dramarama honestly had some good humor, it’s like a young child version of the hectics of the original, it’s a cute twist. It isn’t an original idea though, their is a webcomic from the characters were elementary school kids. It’s honest awesome and I love both the comic and the dramarama idea ^^
I'm pumped for the day Mr Enter does an Animated Atrocities on Thundercats Roar. CN sure knows how to fuck up badly with their atrocious TTG style reboots.
Butter Pie He did it today
But total dramarama doesn’t deserve an atrocity
Enter only talked about the pilot
I like the show and the reason World Tour singing was from Chef in the special of action the last action episode
Honestly, I kinda like this show because it's just batshit bizarre.
That is either an indication I need to watch more cartoons, or goes to show I have a soft spot for really bad stuff. Or both!
me too! not everuyone is going to hate this show
Wow. I liked to watch the original Total Drama (Island, Action, World Tour and Revenge of the Island), but Total Dramarama? I thought the "Show X but the main characters are kids now" trend was a thing of the 90s...
muppet babies and looney tune babies were the only good ones.
That trend is still alive, but with Chibis.
Alejandro was a completely different character than Heather
Better too. I love Alejandro.
Both of them were vain and manipulative. The difference was that he was "suave."
Noah said it best. Alejandro is like Heather but with people skills. lol!
Michael Hewitt-Clarke
That doesn’t make them the exact same character. Unlike Heather, who was a alpha bitch who governed her alliances through fear and earned a bad reputation for herself, Alejandro's approach involved winning over the trust of others by feigning kindess and kept his true nature hidden from the public. As Noah puts it, he's like Heather only with social skills.
I;E to close heather.
Fun fact: if you kept up watching the show in the newest episode they finally shows that there was in fact a camer in front of them during the confession cam segments
Still haven't forgiven them for breaking up Duncan and Courtney and then Gwen and Trent.
I feel like they wanted another season, but Cartoon Network said it was too mature for the current network, so they had to make this instead.
Cartoon Network's new "Go-formula" where they take an old show that was popular, and they make a shitty reboot of it. Basically destroy the old show in every way possible
This is basically baby loony toons only somehow they make it worse
WAIT! They had to use Jude because Ezekiel was homeschooled
It all makes sense… no wait it really doesn’t
Probably your best review this year. Keep up more content like this
I have a idea for Total Drama. Total Drama Unleashed!!!
What's Total Drama Unleashed about?
What is it about, Owen turning to a werewolf?
The SuperBlade Penguin your probably right.
The total drama series is actually pretty good, their ratings may have gone down in the other seasons but i think its great
Even totaldramarama is decently good
Chris and Jude have the same voice actor so It’s kinda like an Easter egg
Wait til they make an episode called “the fart fairy.”
Sadly yes

A pup named Scooby doo is the only show to pull off "characters as kids" tropes effortlessly.
Why do you say action and all star was the worst?
There kind of is areson to give since your readoning for action seems so bare bones.
@This Guy You're a fucking asshole
They went after Duncan because he was the 'only one who knew the way back to the play room' through the vents. Without him they were lost.
Personally,my favorite spinoff of Scooby Doo is the mystery incorporated.
Gwen went from a hot goth stereotype to a Debbie Downer ripoff
When I was a kid I didn't realize how edgy the show was until I rewatched it as an adult, the jokes they make and the topics they touch on is something I never expected out of a kids show lol.
I knew I wasn’t the only one
Edit: holy shit I totally forgot about a pup named scooby doo until just now, my god. Man the nostalgia.
There's a mystery in town!
So call the coolest pup around
Oh, Scooby. A pup named Scooby doo
"Teletoon cinematic universe" caught me off guard.
Good for you, getting this video back, sorry if I was a bit late to discover this.
The kids weren't trying to break out the daycare they were trying to get to the confiscated toys Chef took from them.
11:05 NO! NO NO NO NO NO! HOW DARE TDA DRAG 6TEEN INTO THIS!!!
Duncan had the map to the vents. That's why they wanted to find him.
Personally, I think Muppet Babies deserves more credit than it gets. It had a certain charm to it, and at times was very clever. I enjoy it to this day, and I'm 24.
12:23 chef has a mega stone O_o
Chefhatchetite
Just quietly hiding Celeste's Reflections in the background of the intro, huh?
I can get behind that.
"Total Drama has gone on far too long."
Correct me if I'm wrong but Total Drama has only 5 seasons and 2 spin offs while there are other reality game shows that have 32 seasons and other cartoons that have just as much as that and even more spin offs, remakes, reboots and adaptions
Heather and Alejandro are much more different than you seem to believe
Fun bit of trivia: Tiny Toon Adventures was originally conceived as a Baby Looney Tunes-type of show before they decided to rework the characters as students of the classic Looney Tunes.
Enter: So what is the theme song?
RUclips: *perfectly cuts to an ad about the Arby's Reuben*
