Here I have few tips to stop any bad habit 1. Take 30 day challenge for not doing that thing 2. Keep your environment free from that thing 3. Punish yourself with 20 sticks whenever you break the challenge Believe me punishment gives you pain and pain makes your brain to rewire And quit that habit Do it it will work I have done it it works like magic
Chetan Sir, I really want to thank you for your efforts. Last year I was in a complete ditch. Nothing worked out ..Studies were crap and I was seriously thinking that I would fail my Boards. But no way in hell I thought that I would get into a government engineering college. The credit goes to you 100%. Even now I got a ton of problems ... Useless addictions, stress but because of you I am always somehow on the right track. I am going to solve these problems and hopefully get into an even better college in future. Thanks a lot!

I was addicted to Facebook from 2012 and Instagram from 2016. I tried to deactivate it from time to time but I used to activate it again after a couple of days. I almost deactivated and activated it 100 times between 2017 and 2022. But this time I decided to do it anyhow. I took it as a life and death situation for me.. I deactivated both Facebook and Instagram on 21st May 2022 and today it's 9th June 2023 .. I haven't used it for over a year and now I don't want to use it anymore. I have left it so badly that I don't want to use it again. No matter what the addiction is, 1st month will be hard. 2nd month will be less hard. But Once you cross the 3rd month. You will be addicted to not doing it anymore and you will be so proud of yourself !
True Sir! with practice and patience we can get rid of bad habits. Yes, was phone addict then decided to set timer of 10 mins on my social media applications. It acts as a reminder to stop and focus on my other far more important works for my betterment. I believe wastage of time is one of the worst habits and we all should strive to get rid of it. Sir I was addicted to gossiping and tea, quora, criticize people, cribbing. Post watching this video I decided yo leave al this and start working towards work on myself and continuously bebing better to achieve succes. Sir I have left tea, now i don't go to tea shop where i was wasting my 5 to 6 hours a day sitting with useless friends and killing my time. This saved my time, i started thinking other things statrted study, and become a new me. Thanks sir I have also made a mentor. I use to drink alcohol in my intermediate in lockdown after 2 years of drinking I decided to quit the drink and it's 2023 I never touched it again but now I have a 2 main addiction using phone and 2nd is lazy and unfit routine so I m working on it inshallah I will get over it in few months ❤
i was madly addicted to chess like playing 1000 blitz games in a week plus watching videos on RUclips on chess theory and how to improve the game. (i even made a small diary that had chess openings, their different variations and other stuff) it sounds good but actually ruined my jee preparation and my rank started falling in practice tests. so i stopped playing online chess because it's competitive nature made it more addictive. i stopped playing for a week and never played it after that. i do play over the board chess very occasionally which is a much better stress relief rather than playing on screen

Sir first of all please elaborate what is the habit because I can't describe whether it's a habit or not as I am not a regular smoker. Whenever I feel depressed then I smoke weed in a less quantity and it makes me feel relaxed. But I don't do it regularly (once or twice a month). And yes I don't smoke cigarettes, while making joint I just mix half of a cigarette. What should I do to avoid this ?

Sir, according to me, if we stop that thing for 30 days, after 30 days that addiction is going to become even worse. A sugar addicted person doesn't enjoy the sugar. But his brain force him to eat sugar... just to feel normal. He has diabetes. Doctor advised him not to eat sugar. But he can't stop eating sugar. In the other hand, another diabetic person suppress the urges of eating sugar. He fights back. But after a long time he eats only 2 sweets. He enjoys it from heart. Then he get back to restrictions again. Same thing with a phone addicted person. He just continue to consume entertainment like a zombie. But another person who consumes entertainment when he FEELS HE TRULY NEED IT after a long time of working, he enjoys it a lot. Same case with physical urges/ urges of Bhujia/ alcohol etc. So in my opinion, Everything is necessary. But we should consume them whenever we feel that we truly need it. The 'dikkat' we feel suppressing those cravings/urges, as u say "if u tolerate pain, it's gonna give u reward in future"; we feel the happiness of self control and we also deeply enjoy the thing.🙂

After my brkup I got addicted to paan masala. 2 yrs passed I forgot her but chewing paan masala becomes part of my daily life but I will quit..definitely. I will leave my frnds having gf, who have addiction of any bad thing, I will be a responsible and good guy..... hv to focus only on my goal now...

Chetan sir I am facing 2 bad habits 1 is cigerrtte I am on the process of 30 days to give up cigerrete I want to be physically active I want to grow this habit too Do I try the second one after I master first onek or at the same time I try both the Habits
It's totally on you. You could either try both simultaneously or even one after the other works!
Sir, according to me, if we stop that thing for 30 days, after 30 days that addiction is going to become even worse.
A sugar addicted person doesn't enjoy the sugar. But his brain force him to eat sugar... just to feel normal. He has diabetes. Doctor advised him not to eat sugar. But he can't stop eating sugar.
In the other hand, another diabetic person suppress the urges of eating sugar. He fights back. But after a long time he eats only 2 sweets. He enjoys it from heart. Then he get back to restrictions again.
Same thing with a phone addicted person. He just continue to consume entertainment like a zombie. But another person who consumes entertainment when he FEELS HE TRULY NEED IT after a long time of working, he enjoys it a lot.
Same case with physical urges/ urges of Bhujia/ alcohol etc.
So in my opinion, Everything is necessary. But we should consume them whenever we feel that we truly need it. The 'dikkat' we feel suppressing those cravings/urges, as u say "if u tolerate pain, it's gonna give u reward in future"; we feel the happiness of self control and we also deeply enjoy the thing.🙂
From today I progressed to remove a bad habit, once I did I'll be back here....
