I discovered this mix two years ago and it's still one of my all time favorites. Exposed me to so many great artists and retro city pop. The beer ads are a fun departure from 80s anime, but still give me that feeling of what I would describe as an implanted nostalgia. Super underrated. I'm sure I'll keep coming back years to come.

I have no idea why yt shows me this but this is bonkers badass. And the commercials make you feel good. No preaching. Just a simple, naive even commercials. Oh and now i feel thirsty. How quaint. Looks like the commercial is doing what it is supposed to do without any other meaning.
I love this genre even if I don’t know much it feels like when I was younger between the vibes of vintage ads records and the Japanese mix that sounds a bit like the thing I used to listen to as a teen. Feels a bit like freedom it’s pretty nice
5 minutes in, i really need a beer. Also really love the transitions from song to song. Enough Japanese vocals to warrant a genre reference instead of an old artist sample, but enough to keep it interesting. Solid so far.
