I truly hope future funk nor vaporwave decline as a genre. They both serve the idea of “reviving the classics” and the sentiment of living in times like the 80’s where our world evolved in various ways, specially in music. If you deeply think about it, nothing compares to the classics. Nowadays, anime and music have turned into something way too different, of course, there are great masterpieces regarding these two today, but I personally believe that the music and media from those times developed in a much more attracrive and artistic way. Our opinions and likings may differ, but we might agree that this genre gives us back that vibe like no other music does today.
