Paul Slater im wondering the same thing. Bought the Ead 10 in hopes that i could use this app only to find out that i have to have an iphone. Im so dissapointed.
@@henkenilssons3196 you can use any mp3, mp4 and wav you may have or have recorded yourself. Be careful of copyright issues if you put it online somewhere though. The control box also allows you to record from any source as well,, like a radio, phone, etc. connected to the AUX on the back of the unit.
yes but absolutely can,t connect with i phone 7 & 7 plus.., i buy i phone 7 and also buy connected cable to try this software but absolutely doesn't work... any explanation from yamaha??? so you know how much cost to try this software???
Complete shit! Just spent 500 dollars on this and won't even work with newer Android devices! Come on Yamaha! Seriously? Make it work!!!!!!! Samsung Galaxy S9 plus!

What kind of cable do you need in order to connect the phone to the EAD10?
It's a USB cable and they're using a USB to Lightning adapter to connect the module to an iPhone!
ETA on the Android app? 10 months is a long wait so far!

iphone 7+ works fine with a $13 lightning camera adapter and a standard printer cable and the rec/play software from Yamaha
