Hi Guy . Just found your channel. I made the mistake of putting the cage fan in the wrong way . Now in the process of changing it . Checked your videos and thank you for all the information . The blower is 1968 DEHI with brass bushings and still runs great. I serviced and clean everything but not paying attention put the cage in wrong thanks Greetings from Canada Ontario .
Man thats a pld motor . I have not seen a motor like that in a llong time . Cast iron housing with sleve bearing too . I repaired a sleve bearing motor by pressing in new brass bearing and reaming them for fit.
Its not much different than with a single pulley. As long as the straight edge touches all 4 surfaces of the pulleys, you should be good to go. If the belts do not have equal tension after alignment, you need to replace belts and/or pulleys. GFM
You loosen the driver pulley set screw, and adjust the pulley until it aligns up. If this does not do it, the motor mount has some adjustment that can be changed. Hope this helps. GFM

You demonstrated how to check alignment. If it was out of alignment what would the steps be to get it into alignment?
+Ready Temp The motor is the only part of the unit that is adjustable. The mount is adjustable in 2 dimensions. Hope this helps.

Hello, how would you evenly tension a double belt Sheave with a platform indoor motor base?

how does one align it?
How many hp' motor is in this blower

All these blowers are fractional hp.

didn't really get into changing that angle if needed.
