There was talk that the film was going to be broadcasted first on the BBC before going live on Netflix as per tradition with other Wallace & Gromit short films. And the time was about november-ish but I wouldn't be surprised if it was released around Christmas time like the other films were.
They've confirmed it'll broadcast on BBC One, so my best bet is it'll air on Christmas and then stream on Netflix as you say!
I am looking forward to see the new Wallace & Gromit film, I know,it’s gonna be good. I’d say this wait will be the worth for sure and Merry Christmas btw

i'm looking forward to the new wallace and grommet film. I remember discovering them over at one of my uncles house as a young wee lad. Couldn't remember which one it was but I have fallen in love with aardmands craftmenship of claymation ever since. I also hope you have a great chrismtas.

I really can’t believe it’s been a whole decade since the last Wallace and gromit short I legit never realised that their was little Wallace and gromit stuff for that long!
It'll be closer to two decades by the time it releases, crazy!
A shame really, it'd have been nice to get at least one or two more reprisals while Peter Sallis was still with us.
At least Shaun was active throughout that break though.
I was worried about Aardman’s Clay situation that they needed to buy hella more clay for Wallace & Gromits Grand return until the company that supplies the clay closed out.
The clay shortage seemed to be blown out of proportion by the media, as thankfully Aardman stated "we have high levels of existing stocks of modelling clay to serve current and future productions".

Actually, I can’t wait for the new Wallace and gromit film next year. well, before that I think I’ll go watch the Garfield movie. Merry Christmas 🎄🎁

Yeah, going off the timeframe that we know of it seems unlikely, as Chicken Run 2 was in production for 6 years.
I can’t wait for a trailer to come out or won’t we get one and they’ll just surprise us with the movie, it’s crazy how our childhoods are coming back, Tobey and Andrew in no way home, the OG Jurassic cast in dominion, Hugh Jackman returning as Wolverine and now Wallace and Gromit returning mad start to the 2020s already

It feels weird, *for me personally* that this would be the first Wallace and Gromit Film/Short/Movie *IDK?* since my Grandmother *whom introduced to my Family the Wonderful Aardman* has passed away and she would be 100 Years Old Next Year!!! It feel weird watching a new Wallace and Gromit Project without her for the first time!!!
I haven’t read loads about it so maybe it’s a stupid question but how do we know it’s definitely not a full length movie maybe they’ve been working on it for a while but just didn’t release the information about it till more recently. Was there something written that suggested they’d only been working on if for a short time?
We don't know for definite either way, but the film was said to have not yet started filming in 2021, and Nick Park previously mentioned that he prefers working on the short films. So just an educated guess!
@@SomeBoiOnline ok cool yeah you’re probably right then doesn’t seem like that would be enough time unless they have a stupidly massive team working on it.
@@SomeBoiOnline Yeah, I think I heard they commissioned it after the success of the Shaun Xmas special. Given that was also half hour short length and how much they spam the other Aardman shorts that time of the year, it would make sense if they wanted another W&G short to add to that rotation.
Picked up the golden gromit mug for my collection with Mario bros wonder and a Mario switch case I saw when shopping for my nephews and meant to pick up Wallace and got a gromit but my mum is sorting it out for me merry Christmas mate hopefully u picked up some things for ur Wallace and gromit collection

I know people who are working on the new W&G film. It's a feature, just FYI. Pretty sure one of the animators on IG actually publicly stated this, too.

After the second chicken run im not sure i want it, modern aardman stories really aren't all that anymore.
Nick Park is directing so I trust. Chicken Run 2 was abysmal, the writing made me feel sick.
