I just bought a used Keylab Essential 49 and I am so excited about the support there. Within a few hours they registered my unit, even it was used before by the man from which I bought it. And they told me step by step how to install everything. This is how it should be EVERYWHERE. Clear instructions, pictures of how it is used and not just talking about it. Thank you Arturia!
It would be helpful if you showed the url of each page you're referring to and also allow viewers to see the download page. There are tons of downloads to choose from and I have no idea which one to choose. Some are for windows and none for apple. Where is the Gentleman and Abelton lite? Where is the url for those and others? Thank you.
I guess you already got there as I eventually did. It revealed a page with 4 download links for the included software which are not listed in the software centre. The video guide is good but I think a web page with instruction with links to URLs woud be helpful also
ARTURIA! Please make a 73 KEY WEIGHTED Arturia Keylab MK3 with aftertouch AND SOUND INTERFACE! 73 keys is not weird, way too many keyboardists want this. I hope this gets to major keyboard and midi controller brands like you, especially because your midi keyboards are so well integrated with your software. 61 with synth action is not enough and 88 with weighted is just too long and heavy to carry. Please do this, it would sell like crazy. There's literally no keyboard that currently has all this + integration with your amazing softwares. P.S. - If you are someone who agrees with me, please like this comment so that it reaches to Arturia. If you are from Arturia, PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN! It's an humble request! 🙏🏼
I'm with you 100% on this one. I'm not a great keyboardist by any means, but I do a bunch of Band and Live stuff... I have swapped out so many keyboards just to work out that 61 is too little, 88 is too much. 73 or 76 hits the sweet spot for live, as a stage keyboard. In terms of portability, weight (compared to the 88), and not having to reach for an octave shift button (compared to the 61). I would have gone and bought the Astrolab in a heartbeat if it had this option, and Hammer Keybed.. Please Arturia. Hear our Prayer....
Thanks for the useful video :) A question on the cable: can I use my own USB C to USB C cable? Or does it have to be arturias one with USB A on one end. Macbook does not have a usb a hence I wonder if getting a dongle is a must. Thanks
I can find the MCC anywhere and I feel like I’ve downloaded everything I can find. I can pull up the Lab 5 and click on the piano on the screen and get sound but none of the keys on the keyboard will make any noise. What am I doing wrong?

Engineers have NEVER listened to what actual keyboard players need or want. That's why all these "midi controllers" are all nothing but tinker toy low quality Toys R Us never what you need keys. Gotta spend at least 4k on a synth workstation you don't need either to get good quality keys and a nice layout. Imagine having a Roland Fantom midi controller without the cost of all the sound engines you don't need. It's a really simple design but they won't listen either. NONE of these companies love you making music. They love the money they make off you making music.

I downloaded everything but can't get the keys to make any noises. The keyboard screen shows the preset that I have open in analog labs v, but I hear nothing when I press the keys unless I click the keys in analog lab v. This is my first MIDI/DAW/Keyboard anything, so I must be missing out on an important key detail, lol
Me either, couldn't update the firm ware either. It said there was nothing available. I'm mad, I can't get it to do anything or find script for Cubase!! Why did I buy this?
@@TheJerham68 I fixed it because I didnt have the Keylabmk3 MIDI selected in MIDI settings in Analog Labs, I had another MIDI thing selected (there were 4 options). It was a simple fix but a tricky one that took me some time and asking around, phew! I tried Ableton Live as well and that didnt work because I had the Keylab plugged into a USB hub instead of my PC's front panel. Tech is funny
Hi Arturia, i connected keylab to pc, whent to web site, press Start now, and nothing happens, i did it from 3 more PC`s and nothing happened, also i tried to register and i cant comfor registration, becouse i dont get a link for it and i cant write to support becose i need to be registered, so how can download my bundle if i cant even complete registration and get to budle?
I got my 61 key last night , but the screen does not have a traditional contrast. So basically I can’t be sitting because the letters become washed out , so I have to stand to see the contrast ? Please fix this in software it’s annoying problem. Thanks
2 days now and i cant get this to work so i have no idea what it sounds like. Trying connect to Waveform and no instructions anywhere for arturia keylab to waveform.
Hey bro, go the website and enter the email and password and after that it opens the page and find register a product over here then it grows eventually asking you the serial number and unique code and then tells you to download midi control center and then the daw integration
I've picked a second hand one up today... Got how linked it up, won't let me register it on the site! So I can't download the driver and mcc software! I use studio one 6 pro as my Daw only to find out you don't have the script for this daw! I got it sort of working in studio one but none of the keyboard parts are working with studio one.. I'm gutted to be fair
Im a newbie in wanting to create ( EDM/Techno/Industrial/dubstep) with fl studio plus the key lab mk3. I havent got the money yet. But as soon as I get paid I plan on buying fruityloops20 sig ed. Question is, should I buy first fl studio or key lab mk3. Considering that I have no piano xp in playing any type of piano/keyboard/synth. I considered that fl is the way to go due to this problem, though before I buy either one in a week to be specific I need some one with knowledge on this case which one keylab mk3 or fl studio20 sig ed.
Hey Arturia, are you working on better integration with Reason? :) I bought KeyLab Essentials but it's a pity it doesn't work that well with my favourite DAW. Work super good with Ableton though :)
I just ordered a second hand one, I think it's a mk2. I hear if you have the serial number you can still get access to analog lab... I'm hoping I can do that, if not I'll just buy analog lab at a later date.
Nothing about this video seems to be working for me, I can't even find where to download the MCC and my controller is basically a long brick... not very impressed so far
Same here, the software center is silently crashing wihtout any windows, popup or debug/log file. The midi control center can see the keyboard but can't dettect any key press.
@@francoisscala417The MIDI control center is not working. It just crashes.Or writes that the keyboard is connected to another program. A useless piece of plastic. There is no sound in ABLETON at all, although he sees the keyboard. A bad product. I released MK 3, but it doesn't work!
@@Лыжник-ъ7сYou will probably know this now but "connected to another programme" is because you have DAW/Ableton open. If you are ok with it now, fine, If not then let me know what you struggling with. I had to find everything out my self but still not a pro!!!
The procedure for downloading the bundled software is a complete and utter mess. Having owned the controller for a while now, I've still only managed to download Ableton Live, Analog Lab, Grand Piano, ASC and MCC. Trying to install the licences and getting them to then work with the associated PIN numbers is a joke. Arturia shame on you for making something that should be relatively easy a total pain in the arse.
Ok but it was so much trouble to me to download all these and make them work with Logic Pro .. Common , we are in 2024 . These things must me automatically
Bizarrement, en réel rien ne se passe comme dans la vidéo. Intégration du DAW déplorable, le MCC je n'en parle même pas, rien n'est simple ou rien ne fonctionne correctement. Quand je regarde les vidéos, il faut faire 5 ou 6 manipulations pour insérer un VST alors qu'il suffit de le faire glisser avec le souris. Avec ce clavier, rien n'est intuitif, tout est plus long et compliqué, il ne présente absolument aucun intérêt. Le mode d'emploi n'explique rien, configurer l'ouverture d'un onglet avec une touche relève de l'exploit !

This tutorial does not match up with the software for this controller. Horrible software and of course nobody to talk to at arturia without waiting forever. No way to get to the Arturia software center or Midi controller. Will return the controller
Arturia keyboards are bad quality ... don buy ... also lots o software bugs..no support whatsoever keys hanging on Mac .. also company slow to respond .. bad components ... don endorse 3rd grade companies

My screen did the same thing. I ended up having to get a replacement

You have to search the website for it. The download areas look nothing like the video. It's frustrating as hell.

I think it's the intro now. I had version 4 full from my MK2. DON'T update it. When you do it goes from full to intro

NOTHING in this video is helpful and by brand new keylab Essential 49 will NOT work in Cubase 13. This is a JOKE.
