I’m watching this show for Moiraine - I liked her in the books but I’m loving her portrayal in the show,, Rosamund Pike IS Moiraine.

This show and specifically Moiraine's character has stayed with me since I binge watched it all night yesterday... incredible show and acting by all! I need S2 stat!!!
My favorite show since game of thrones , so amazing and very catchy and mystical , I love moiraine
The worst thing I could've done was read the books 😭. The show definitely stands well on its own, but people that want an adaptation close to the books will be very frustrated.
Yeah, they did a lot of frustrating things, but I still enjoyed it. I didn't go into it with high expectations. I am mostly just mad that they changed Perrin's character arc as much as they did.
@@Vermillionx I watched the show before I read the books so I didn't have any expectations going in and now I just wish they'd kept in more elements from the books. Also hate that they made the one power seem wimpy.
The Risque relationship between Moiraine and the Siuan Sanche made both characters more relatable and human of some sorts. Plus it was Super HOT!!!!!

tbh i watched it only for moiraine and siuan.... their relationship fricking carries this divine show
Such an amazing show. But I hope in season two the writers pace it alittle better. Episode 1 started off slow. And I got bored alittle in the middle of the series. But the end was amazing.

@@Koronin If there’s a second there’s usually a third. And there’s a second. So maybe 3, but there’s just too much damn talent in this project at the moment to write it off. I think once the book readers finally realize that this is an adaptation, they’ll let go of their strict requirements to match the books exactly.
@@teegees I don't think it's a masterpiece, but it's definitely not bad either! I do not see this being cancelled after two seasons for how successful it has been. There's some growing pains, but I am so excited to see where this goes.

I didn't get any kind of romantic relationship between Moiraine and Swan in the book. I felt that they were best friends, almost sisters more than anything. Specially since Swan marries someone else later. lol
There was a prequel as young girls where they were together I think the term was ‘pillow friends’ if I’m not wrong
Amazon has destroyed Robert Jordan's masterpeice. Disgrace.

You would rather not have the show at all if its not up to your standards. Its either this or nothing, and this isnt even that bad. So let the people who do enjoy the show watch it and be happy for them instead of hoping the show gets cancelled. And get the idea of this show ruining Jordan's legacy out of your head. His legacy is still the same as his original works are still the same. If anything, this show gets more people to read the books, which is a good thing.
