Welcome to the Baker’s BBQ Family jwilliam, glad to have you onboard! A smoke ring is hit or miss with an electric smoker but applying a little tender salt while seasoning your brisket will enhance your chances. As you and I know, charcoal and wood are hard to beat but I definitely think the Masterbuilt Electric Smoker is right up there on flavor and all other aspects of the final product it produces. Also, in my opinion it beats pellet smokers hands down on flavor, appearance, and overall final BBQ product quality. Not to mention ease of use especially if you add the “Slow & Cold Smoker Attachment”. Let me know if you have any other questions. Happy Smokin!
