THIS is the time where we should focus all of our attention to Operation Harsh Doorstop because it's still cooking in the oven but my goodness is it looking and feeling better with each update and will include so many other theatres of war, including the Vietnam War Theatre. And best part...it's all free, just gotta download and play. The new update dropping soon looks like a step in the right direction with vehicles being added in.

I just wanna say had burning lands not had any issue it would have been fine at release. Squad HLL and BL would cover three of the most popular war eras. There’s plenty of space for that OPHarshDS and squad’s Vietnam mod aren’t in the same conversation at all
@@idriszamani4031rising storm 2 isn’t similar at all to HLL or squad gameplay. It doesn’t really scratch the large scale itch Burning lands would have fit into. And yes I have played it, mostly in its prime
so for my Country Sweden the backing Tiers for BLV is mindblowing.. not even Activision or EA or Take2 has been that greedy yet, though their pricing on games are getting close to the 110 AUSD price tag..for 400 AUSD u get 2400 SEK which is like 4 weeks worth of food cost for 1-2 ppl every month..before the Russo-Ukraine Conflict.. now that is what I can or cant spend on food for min 2 weeks.. the 110 AUSD is the bare min..but that is like 644 SEK which is good ammount...but still.. 58000 AUSD is like bit over 400.000 SEK which in Indie dev standards enough to get started & able to pay your devs & get the ball rolling..etc..but not for chance Blair I guess.. rip did look foward to Burning Lands Vietnamn oh well on to something else then..
Made some Calculated & currency webb page & BLV asked for 1-5 Million AUSD to develop this game, 5 million is like 353 to 354 Million SEK in Swedish Currency, you dont need less than 500 millions in cash to make a small game, why i guess Team 17 didnt accept i hope to jump on this funding. In US currency that like 32 Million USD to back this game 😂😮
so reading a certain comment in the discord: so Chance was asking Team 17 for 1-5 Million USD to back his indie game, but unknown if they would be paid back their pledge & more if game is a big hit? plus him asking his own "Devs" contractors or minium paid devs" to Pay some or all their own hard earned cash to back their project they are working on with or for him..to his personal bank account or paypal, but not to a Company Account that goes into the game, but into Chance Blairs own Wallet"? yeah...that is huge flag & asking for a Dumpster fire to happen, hearing some recorded stuff from Devs, their demmands was not that bad & they were very passionate about this game.. but Chance way was my way or the highway more or less what it all comes down too. I would like to known what the Squad Devs/founders had or what issues they had with Chance..which could reveal much.. I guess.

Then he uses clips of their videos for his teaser !! LMAO And he's carrying on like he's some CEO when at best he's a sole trader sponging off the skills and talents of others, on the promise of future income. That guy needs to be shunned guy the industry !! Also, how's his form renaming his operation 'Zero Hour' when there's a known tactical shooter game of that name . This seems like a scam. I think theres plenty of room for tactical shooters. Same way we have tons of adventure games or arcade stuff. I do however think that the focus on multiplayer might be an issue with many of these games. I still wonder why so few target the single player audience, there are plenty willing to pay for it. We need devs to push squad AI further like Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon once long ago tried to do. If no one tries we wont see progress. And while I might be in a minority perhaps I think tactical games makes for excellent single player experiences. Some of my favourite games of all time are old such games.

Currently sitting on a 7 day timeout in the discord but others have been outright banned for calling out chances shady dealings and how he is acting. The passive aggressive snarky remarks look bad from the CEO of a company like this when he is being accused of being a rude and insulting boss to his employees. Now he is that way to his potential backers, or in some cases actual backers, and everyone can see it.

The game could've been good, there was space for it. Could've brought more people to the tactical shooter space and provided competition. Just not under the chancellor that is Chancebrahh.
Funniest thing is, there are people defending chance in the kickstarter comment section and saying that people shouldnt pull their money out, they also dropped the amount of money they need to raise from 49K to 40K just so they could try and snag some money, thinking the kickstarter wouldnt drop any lower (It dropped to 38K as of writing) Lots of bots chance has invested in.
