I was brought up pretty close to daddy Norris and wife Tracey Smith. That aside, phone calls, letters and notes were sent to the police immediately after the murder, naming those five guys. Plus a skinhead - yes a skinhead - walked into a police station and named them. The police did nothing. Now, daddy Norris did not hand money to the police. He did not have to. But, he had no right to ask them for favours to get his son (and the others by default) off a murder charge. Those police officers were NOT HIS to ask favours from. Daddy Norris (and some of the other dads) worked for Kenny Noye and, by pointing the spotlight onto certain policemen and having their names banded about in the Daily Mail, Norris almost ruined the cozy relationship higher-up guys had with 'law enforcement'. :) So it was decided to cut Norris loose and he was finally locked up. Without his half-a-million pound house and flash cars, daddy Norris now lives in a bedsit in Kent. His son, before finally being banged up, was about on that same level too.
