Okay, I must be interpreting this song incorrectly. I love Onew and SHINee, and my bias will always be Jonghyun, but this song made me a little sad. I guess I interpreted it as if you are able to endure hard times, and you're still standing, consider yourself a Winner. I could not relate that to Jonghyun. If anything, I felt the opposite. What about the people who were not able to endure the storms? If perhaps there was something along the lines of "I'll stand for you even if you aren't able or not here," it might have resonated more for me. Did I literally just misinterpret the lyrics?
