Stephen Hendry has single handily rekindled my love of snooker after a 15 year hiatus. Ever since finding this channel last year I've just gotten more and more in to snooker again, watching games, old clips, classic matches etc. Even thinking of going to my first live event. This man is such an asset to snooker and one of the best ambassadors the sport could ask for. Love your channel Stephen, hope you're enjoying it as much as we are watching it. Take care.

People forget that Hendry didn't have many tournaments so makes me wonder how many centuries Hendry would have made if we had this format back then in his prime. I didn't watch Hendry in his prime unfortunately.

I sometimes wonder would I have got really good if I'd actually been able to have any access to a decent table growing up. I loved snooker from about 6 years old but only got to play it maybe once a year at most and that was at some really seedy dives with tables that rolled off, had holes in them, chipped balls and my dad hurrying me out because proper dodgy gangs would come in. Ronnie's dad just bought him a pro table as a kid. If I'd been able to have one, I'd have been on it day and night. The ONLY way to get more super talented players appearing on the circuit is to provide young people with access too good tables in decent places where they feel safe and can get on with learning and practicing properly.

@@PointNemo9 Apparently he's the gang leader behind the match fixing scandal with the Chinese players forcing them to cheat. Apparently Ronnie was involved in some matches too, but he went under the radar. This is inside information. I know some triad members.

I'm not sure whether Stephen noticed this, but apart from the 2nd pause that Ding has these days, Ding doesn't pause for power shots anymore unlike in the past where he would.

You have a Blue Diamond which was considered a hard tip, Elkmaster being a bit softer, you also had/have the blue velvet, which was the softest, but it could rip/fall apart with heavy use. I still use an Elkmaster, the blue diamond feels like a lump of concrete to me.

Stephen please try your best at the world championship qualifier's. It will be tough, but if you get to the BBC TV 1st round you will be headline sports news. With huge audiences and you might get far as you will try hard.

When you use a trace/touch of helping side, do you have to make the adjustment and allow for the deflection and throw of the cue ball or just go for the aiming point you chose as if it was centre ball striking? Please guide.

I think it'd be cool if Stephen could bring on his fellow Scotsman Chris Small. Won a major 20 years ago and shortly afterwards had to retire because of a nasty spinal illness. I've read he started coaching and I would be interested how he's doing nowadays.

1 went through with cheating one didn't.
John never once agreed to fix matches Stephen did and actually followed through.
I suspect your hating on Higgins for 1 of 2 reasons either your a rangers fan or your English, stop being jealous.
