Often when I get anxiety and start to panic I get anxious about panicking! Somethings I do is I trace through my fingers going down and up taking breaths, or I pick a colour and I find 10 - 5 things around the room to take my mind off a little or I listen to music or I go snuggle up in a blanket watch my favourite movie with some water and my teddy I really hope some of these tips help just know thst panic / anxiety attacks are completely normal ❤❤❤

Had a panic attack a few days ago. I was breathing heavy and shaking badly. And now I’m subscribed and have watched almost every single video of yours.
Today was my first day of school since summer vacation ended, and I was so nervous. I don’t really get along with my classmates, especially because I am diagnosed with ADHD and they find me extremely annoying and difficult to communicate with. They all gave me dirty looks when I met them, making comments like “emo” or “are you gonna be the same this year or did you decide to finally grow up?”. I felt like crying, but at least I have one friend, who is also my desk mate every year, and she’s always by my side and cheers me up when I’m sad. This really calmed down from this stressful day, thank you Ocean! ❤️

Thank you so much for the hand/breathing trick!!! I struggle with doing deep breathing on my own (unguided, it’s not enough to distract my brain when it’s just me saying “deep breath in” then counting)…I have anxiety, autism, and some health issues that cause pain and nausea among other things and I think having this technique will be so helpful for all of those situations!!!💚

Thank u ocean I only just started having panic attacks but the other day my best friend just told me that she hated me and didn’t want to be friends anymore then she called me and started screaming at me over the phone and I have a lot of trauma from when people scream from personal experiences. That hand tracing is such a good trick! (Thank you) Here is a another grounding thing that could help Focus on your senses 5 things you can see 4 things you can feel (touch) 3 things you can hear 2 things you can smell 1 thing you can taste (I do this only because I find it difficult to taste anything, or smell more than 1 thing) I often find If I go through all of them and it doesn't help I will find more things I can hear, more things I can see I'm usually fortunate as to get warnings from my body such as feeling weak and faint, and I try to get myself to a 'safe' place such as somewhere I can sit or lay down if need to. You're not alone guys, but as always it will pass. Take care of yourselves ❤
I’ve never really tried asmr before, but that hand trick really helped me. Lately Ive had awful anxiety about tests and school overall, I’m an A+ student and everyone seems to think life’s perfect because of that but the truth is, is that honestly getting straight A’s puts so much pressure on yourself and it’s a good thing but I need to learn how to know that if I don’t do as good in something it’s OK as long as I tried my best.

i had a panic attack in school today, because i was forced to do something i was uncomfortable with, and i had no idea what to do (i need a clear demonstration before doing something) , i sat there for 20 minutes in a silent attack. my main teacher (shes known as my tutor in my block/base class) came in to see me, and she noticed my attack. i was allowed to skip that class, and the next to calm down (i have a history of really bad anxiety and panic attacks) . you remind me so much of my tutor, so thank you.

3 things you can hear
2 things you can smell
1 thing you can taste
(I do this only because I find it difficult to taste anything, or smell more than 1 thing) I often find If I go through all of them and it doesn't help I will find more things I can hear, more things I can see
I'm usually fortunate as to get warnings from my body such as feeling weak and faint, and I try to get myself to a 'safe' place such as somewhere I can sit or lay down if need to. You're not alone guys, but as always it will pass. Take care of yourselves ❤

I’ve never really tried asmr before, but that hand trick really helped me. Lately Ive had awful anxiety about tests and school overall, I’m an A+ student and everyone seems to think life’s perfect because of that but the truth is, is that honestly getting straight A’s puts so much pressure on yourself and it’s a good thing but I need to learn how to know that if I don’t do as good in something it’s OK as long as I tried my best.

i had a panic attack in school today, because i was forced to do something i was uncomfortable with, and i had no idea what to do (i need a clear demonstration before doing something) , i sat there for 20 minutes in a silent attack. my main teacher (shes known as my tutor in my block/base class) came in to see me, and she noticed my attack. i was allowed to skip that class, and the next to calm down (i have a history of really bad anxiety and panic attacks) . you remind me so much of my tutor, so thank you.
