LMAO that was the SHITTEST slight of hand i have ever seen . lmao he clearly isnt picking that lock bbut breaking the picks . then he "reposititons " his hands move out of frame and boom an open lock . that he prepared with beforehand .
well who am i to throw the first stone . but it looks very shady with the hand moving out of frame. i guess i trust. but you had means , motive and opportunity . like we all know you have 3 . and i cant see the other 2 . whatever i am being obessive,
inserting the rake the wrong way up and jiggling instead of raking ( or rocking ) - very suspect - my experience with Abus locks is raking rarely works and they are tricky to SSP too.
DanteUK I have a few Abus locks, e.g. a 64Ti/40, an Abus my lock and an Abus 82 Ti/70 I’m a noob and I can rake those without a problem. I also have an Abus 70 but I can’t rake this one as the biting is too extreme.
How did you struggle all the way through that, then as soon as the lock goes off the camera and another one comes back on, you do it in 1 stroke? Think there may be a bit of trickery involved here.
I find that inserting my rakes first and then the tension wrench works best. Also when I rake I rake back and forth instead of up and down. Good job getting er open.
I live in Europe and Abus locks are among the best you can get over here....much more secure than Master locks. If I recall, I think all the Titalium locks have security pins. Spool and/or mushroom pins. When I attacked my first Abus I took it for granted. Did my Master tactic and tried raking and rocking (which almost usually works quickly), then bitch picking and if that fails SPP. Lost my cool so had a coffee then tried it again with a lot more patience. Got it open with SPP. Loved the challenge it gave me though so nearly all the padlocks I buy now are Abus. Still get Master locks and cheap locks but Abus are really good for practicing with security pins.
Got a lock picking set yesterday and managed to SPP one of these today in a minute. If i didn't find a binding pin, i put some lesser tension until the binding pin could get lifted. Good video tho!
To be fair , that's a tough pick for a beginner even raking ; going from a white level master locks 140 ,141, no. 1, 3, & 5 ; to an orange abus 64 Ti 40 , good try , moe
TheSmokinApe i see, i was thinking my use of tension might be the problem. but just dont know if im using too much or too little, springs seems quite strong on this lock so i found myself using quite a lot of tension buy maybe still not enough.
Go super light, when you get the first binder pin set correctly you will feel the wrench move. When you use too much tension the first binder is very hard to set and detect.
I am not trying to be mean but is this guy trolling us? No one uses this much force and randomly jams picks in..... I kinda laughed then wondered if he was being serious.
I cannot speak for everyone here..but Miller Lite is quite a fine driving beer. Not for Nascar, obviously, but for everyday driving, like to the supermarket, boring errands and whatnot. Reason is, that 4% stuff won't really impair your judgment like the full-strength 5% lager and pilsner. Stay safe people and do not drive or operate heavy machinery under the influence of drugs.
Picking? I only saw failed attempts at brutal raking. Struggle struggle struggle, hmm, lock taken out of shot, 'repositioning', lock brought back into shot, and oh! there it is! As far as I'm concerned, if you take the lock out of shot, it never happened.
I do not get how everyone is at least getting it under 10min. Raked open. Our basement is locked and we’ve lost the keys. Bought a picking set from amazon and so it’s my first lock to pick. I know I am horrible but I tried every rake in the set. And i think I already sat 4 hours in front of it trying to get it open. I am trying leaset tesion, more tension, middle tension, different rake. And man that little lock does not open up. Got the see through beginner lock from the set open a couple times. I understand the lock parts enough to also have a little understanding. So.. now after 4hours trying over multiple days I cannot get it open. Really frustrating even tho I am really fucking patient. FUCK
Hey man you gotta check out this edc trauma kit I just ordered. It's great. Fits in my back pocket. About same size as my Maxpedition Spartan wallet. Great product! Check out this video on RUclips: ruclips.net/video/UDjo1xtkOLU/видео.html
+TheSmokinApe you did a video a few months back on adding a tourniquet to your edc after a pm101 vid. We had a brief conversation about putting together a kit just like this one. It's pretty much identical to what we talked about. Very high quality products in it! The value is good too.
That's pretty good ,I admire your skills and luck, but though raking is good technique you should try single pin picking instead of a rake ,I just practice picking with hairpins ,haha look it up its pretty cool, love your videos,

+blackib1s it’s legit, terrible technique but legit

Man, you're picking technique is brutal!
Sure was, I recording me picking locks when I first started out so I had a catalog of progression.

Yeah, I figured that out... thanks for the tip regardless... this lock is a tuff one.

Thanks for the post. Since making this video I have moved on to SPP almost exclusively. I agree with you about the quality of these locks...
No worries mate. Good vid.
I think the 64ti/30 doesn't have any security pins.
I think you used the key. Why did the lock go off camera ?
You got me....
@@TheSmokinApeyeah I know I did. Rules say lock can’t leave camera. This is worse than stolen valor. Dressing up as a marine. .

Glad you liked the video, good luck with the new kit. Which one did you get?
Is there any difference to the Abus 80/64 except the size?
Maybe pin count? I'd have to check...

Thanks Shadow 👍
can rake this lock in a few seconds but having trouble single picking it.
After some practice I can SPP it pretty easy these days. The hardest part was getting down the soft touch of the tension wrench...
TheSmokinApe i see, i was thinking my use of tension might be the problem. but just dont know if im using too much or too little, springs seems quite strong on this lock so i found myself using quite a lot of tension buy maybe still not enough.

TheSmokinApe thanks buddy. i will give it a try :-)

+Michael Mantion Not mean. I wasn't trolling, just sharing how I learned to pick locks.
YEAH!! THE BEER OF NASCAR!!
+SSR KNIVES AND GUNS! NASCAR beer is best!

IM A PRO NOW TOO MAN!! YEAH!!
+SSR KNIVES AND GUNS! Haha @ pro... thanks for watching...
I am also a novice picker. I've found lighter tension is better. If your finger turns white then I'm usually putting too much pressure.
also I just got one of those. You made me want to unpackage it.
+Kevin M Yeah, it took some time to learn but pressure is the most important aspect. Thanks for the comment...
I was betting on the lock
lol, for a spell I was too!

Hey BC, I know it sucks to hear this but you have to keep practicing...

First time I heard that, but I’ll take it 👍
This is tough to watch
