Diair, they do deplete, but there are ways of restoring them in game, so you never 'run out'
Our Minions... I mean our citizens will do this. One little nudge and this could turn into a Dark Aavak playthrough, I can see it now child labor, low safety standards, executing the dissidents by throwing them into an open blast furnace. Sounds like so much fun.

its actually a city builder/automation game because theres no strategy in it
The decor makes the town pretty, which increases Aavaks happiness, and keeps his attention so the series may survive longer!

Oh my gods. A skyscraper of houses, with automation to deliver to all the levels would be _so cool!_
I played this game yesterday I I built a skyscraper with houses AND THAT even helps A LOT cuz markets supply on a limited range on the ground but supply everything to the sky in that range . So say hello to the medival skyscraper metropolys
I’m pleasantly surprised by how this game managed to mesh two different gameplay systems/genres and actually turn out pretty well
i loved Factorio and greatly enjoyed Banished. This game will now be on my wishlist.
I just wanted to let you know that I find your voice very soothing. I've been having problems getting to sleep for the past few months and just listening to you talk with my eyes closed helps so much.
Watching this so I can be up to date with the new season :3 I appreciate the fact that you return to games after they come out of alpha.

A nice cute little game, not as overwhelming as Factorio. Definitely going on my 'to get' list. By all means, keep playing, so I can learn from your mistakes before I start my own game!
The cute graphics are very nice to look at, but I really love the background music! So soothing. I'm so glad there's already a second episode! I'll happily binge this series :)

May or may not be watching this again while waiting for episodes from Season 3 of Factory Town :) I don't think I actually finished this play through, I'm looking forward to see how it ends up! Might have to skip the really logic heavy episodes, though. Those are just a little too much when I'm trying to zone out 😅 Its fun to see how much this game has improved in just the last year and a half!

Clearly the developers underestimated the ability of gamers to completely and utterly cheese any system that is put in front of them. XD I'm actually kind of surprised they're keeping that feature in given they stated it was not meant to be played that way. Usually exploits like that get totally nerfed in the next major update after discovery. I'm definitely getting Factorio vibes since I've played Factorio before. The problem I have in these games is that it makes me totally obsessed in trying to figure out the most tidy and efficient way to do something then I end up with a daisy chained mess as I'm forced to expand operations, I get frustrated, and then I drop the whole endeavor.^^;

I bought this game a few months ago after watching katherineofsky play it and i love it. Really like supporting small development teams game.
I heard the word research tree. This is something which I value in games. Also, this is a combo of many games I like. Will watch to see how it works through the rest of the playthrough. Also, keep doing your beautifying as it is appreciated by not only yourself but your viewers.
The art direction in this game is all over the place :P

For the love that is all fuzzy, at least have the miner putting rocks into the crate so that wagon has something to do. =)
yes, at 23:05 you just had researched wagons, but instead of letting a worker do many short trips to the crate and then let a wagon carry 4 stones per trip, you decide to reassign the worker to walk the full length of the path again. one worker and one wagon (total cost of 2 population) probably would be able to do the same work as four workers that walk all the way themselves.
edit: spoke too early ... at 27:25 you do just that !
Aww. I really like the look of this one, but I have to wait! Both for more Aavak and for the game itself. D: But there's so many games I'm playing right now! Not enough TIME! I guess that's what I get for playing mostly open-ended games.

Can you make a subterabian civilization? It would allow you to stack your houses, and keep the planet nice and organized.
not directly since there are no tunnels. but you could dig down a big hole (down to water level), fill it with houses and whatever, and then hide the hole under scaffolding, and hide that scaffolding with pathes, roads, train tracks and other decoration on top of it :-)

my worker would not deliver planks into base.. I kept trying everyting but after 30 minutes or so I just exited the game ...
