This is actually a cool, charming, & unique house. I love all the windows, inside & out. Not your typical cookie cutter house, it has character.
+Grn Peepers yeah it's pretty cool,
Windows inside the house maybe used for a draft in the summer
No airconditioning back then.
That has been awesome house in its day. All of the built ins and cupboards scream Craftsman. Too bad it's in such bad shape. I could see me living in a house like that. Thank you for sharing this. Great video.
Well if someone say the"get out of my house"i know its the one who say is you beacuse i see you came closer in the canera and if it other you already run but you continue the explore
Zoe Small yes it's a neat old house. I grew up in a house that's about 80 years ol and I love it
Was thinking the same thing. Would love to renovate this one.
I can only imagine what this must have looked like in its glory day. I love the windows inside, it adds so much character. I could see myself in that house. So sad its falling apart.
These sort of places were quite common in the Australian farmland, where they used shiplap for walls and ceilings. The inside windows could have been for airflow, or there may well have been extensions done as the family grew. This one was in fairly good shape mostly, and the cabinets were in good nick. I enjoy seeing people check these places out, as a view of something that once was.
Beautiful Craftmens style house.love all the built-in.
+Michele Morgan agree
I too love this house ! I also could see myself living there. I would keep all those windows inside the house , I think that's what makes this place so unique. Love the views from the yard. A wonderful place indeed.
Im surprised it hasnt been vandalized more than it has. I didnt see rain damage either despite the bad roof so it appears to be in a dry climate. There just could be enough left of it to be saved.
I see a few comments talking about the "get out of my house". Which they don't realize is you did that is a joke. Lol.
+Robbi Cooper lol I know 😄😄
I thought you doing that was kinda funny.
+Robbi Cooper it was actually my friend. I didnt think in a millioon years people would think it was real
But still it was funny. I laughed.
+Robbi Cooper lol
I have been here about 15 years ago. It still hasn't changed!
Not gonna lie I was half watching the video and the “get out of my house” scared the ever living shit out of me
What a beautiful quirky house. I love all the Windows. It looks almost art decorated with the Windows. It must have been really nice to live in this house once upon a time. Lovely house, a shame no one wants to claim and save this unique home. Great video.
I love that house. My house is a 1920 house with a lot of the same features like the little windows that swing open.
This home must have been full of life. I love the design concert, quite homey. I wonder if part of the home was used for some kind of class rooms,.... I envisioned it all fixed up and furnished. I wish the history could be found. I would think finding out the names of the original and last owners wouldn't be difficult. One could then take it from there with research.
Love the house and its location. Love all the windows too, opens it up with light and a feeling of outdoor spaciousness.
+mtnmikeblue1 yeah it's pretty unique
These houses were originally built as two bedrooms and one bath. As families grew, the houses were added on to. I live in a 95 year old home that's had additions. The bathroom door keys are original.
The home has a really cool design and a very unique looking chimney! That bright green bathroom looks like it could blind a person though!
539 Productions it was pretty dang bright lol
Adventures with Cryptid All those windows, if you are in a very hot and humid place, I believe they used to open the windows to circulate air with the help of air conditioner.
+Nicoletta Ciccone hmm, that's cool never heard of that before. Thanks
+Nicoletta Ciccone hmm, that's cool never heard of that before. Thanks
Adventures with Cryptid You are welcome and thank you for sharing your videos.
This was a beautiful home at one time and some stupid vandals decided it was ok to bring it down faster than nature.
Everything in this house are beautiful
The windows gave a free flow of air throughout the. House.
I would so live in that house lol
It's fun and painfully seeing many of my abandon properties like this and I never return
I wonder if there's any history about this place? It must have been grand in its day.Thank SO much for sharing this!
If you wanna go somewhere creepy try going to a place called the “scary dairy” located in Ventura County, California. It’s an abandoned looney bin turned into a school and super creepy at night.
Looks like it was a really beautiful Family Home in its hey-day. It would have been lovely to see it in good condition and fully furnished and occupied. It has a sense of "Happiness", despite now being desolate.
It was probably an awesome house. As soon as I started watching I imagined the scent of an old home that I’ve smelled before. Loved it!
Music very fitting! Thanks
I love those old houses i imagine when built a happy family life, but then i get a feeling of overwhelming sadness looking at it now and wondering what became of it's owners and children? Great job i enjoyed it
Would be so fascinating to know the history behind these old places...and, why they were abandoned!
Love the old mission style
Perhaps the house was built in stages" so windows were installed on an exterior wall. Later, another addition might have been afforded. New exterior walls, and windows were installed. For whatever reason, the owner felt no need, or reason to remove the interior walls and/or windows ... and like someone else noted, the interior windows could have been used as a sort of "ductless" air conditioning, using the current breezes .....
+Chris Cockrell true, good observation thank you for watching 😊
Nothing strange, they liked windows and obviously there is an addition..
Wow
Love this house
So sad tho that nobody fixed it up and started living in it again
This house would've been awesome to have people living in it again
What a great find. Must of been Beautiful at one time. Too bad time and weather did its toll ....Love the windows thu
I love that house. It has such good bones. Wish it was mine.
Wow! 😍🏜🏠
Houses in the old days when they had lots of children sometimes they had Windows like that anyways the house is pretty big and I like it
Absolutely love the built in cabinets !!!
Wow what an awesome fine what a great house very quirky I love that about buildings, great video as always. xxx❤️xxx
Nice old house. Too bad it's falling into disrepair.
Brian Murphy I agree it's extremely rare to find an abandoned house in this good of a condition out here in Nevada
Or anywhere. The one thing that they always seem to have in common is that they've been vandalized unfortunately. Great video. Keep them coming.
+Brian Murphy thank you
Nice explore, interesting old place and good job on the video, thumbs up!
+AngryRed Banjo thank you 🤘😎
awesome house, big too.
Omg did you hear the spirit clearly say get out my house. Creepy
If I had the money, what a cool place to renovate. Being it is in the desert. The wood might still be salvageable or most of it. All those beautiful rooms and windows! Wow! A remodeling dream. I can see myself living there.
Thank you for sharing. Interesting almost spooky.
Always so sad when beautiful houses are left to rot.
I know your not supposed to do this, but if I was building or renovating my house I'd pull up the floors, cabinets and repurpose them for a new life. Beautiful house.
The little box you found in the sink is an insect killer. When you bought them , they had a flat piece with insecticide on it that slipped down in the box. Really enjoyed your video!
+Louise Caudill so cool, thank you for watching 👍
That bedroom kinda reminds of Chuck Palahniuk's book . . Lullaby
that home had some nice, old ornate woodwork
+nina bates it did, it must have been a beauty in its day
Great video! For some reason, I just LOVE that house!!!
It's a great house
The Windows separating the rooms are for air. Air conditioning was not common or around when this house was built. The windows open so airflow can penetrate the entire house. Surprised no one put that together.
Actually a few people did. Thanks for checking out the video good info.
Great old place!👍🙋🕊️
Beautiful build ins!!
What a wonderful house that was. I bet it was well loved once upon a time 💙
Cool 😁thanks for sharing with us
+Fatima Orellana thank you for watching ❤
New subscriber and I love the channel content. I look forward to seeing your videos in the future.. I saw a similar abandoned house with this floor plan and style. I think some info was given that these were possibly prefab house kits that were sold in Sears Roebuck catalogs and other companies. I love the craftsman style of this old house..Thank you for sharing it with us all.
Great explore. I think you are right about there being additions. It looks like they just keep adding on, and left the windows between rooms. LOL. They sure did like windows. The wallpaper and the contact paper on the counter tops looks very 1970s to me. So I would guess it was abandoned about that time.
Max Zomboni I agree maybe as the kids came so did the additions
Love this video. but, I love all your stuff. you take us to some cool places, & being from Texas, I find the desert places quite cool. never been to or near a desert. Thanks for sharing man.
Cool place, it's kind of sad when you think about how this used to be someone's home, and now it's left to crumble.
Nice video !! Keep em comin !!
+KrownRoyale Thanks
Either they had a big family or a place like that could have been an orphanage or something. The front doors don't look like the usual house style doors. But nothing in that place is cookie cutter, especially since there are so many windows to look into the rooms like as if to keep an eye on someone. Cool place. And those hardwood floors, I'm surprised someone hasn't come and ripped them out. I've seen houses with the floors ripped out. Now flooring like that is SO hard to come by and is so costly that they have this fake chemical crap wood. I'm so surprised no one has busted the windows out. Nice.
Love you cryptid hunter
Good video. Coolhouse.
Awesome house!
That house was an Honor Bilt Sears home.
+History Lover it sure what that is?
Wow. If Sears still did "Honor Bilt' homes today they would be drywall and plastic builder grade boxes. A house like that would cost a fortune to build today, with the same materials.
A very cool house
That thing in the sink was an old school fly trap.
Cryptid Hunter - All your videos are so well presented and captivating. 👍🙆
It was gorgeous at one time. So sad
+pat goff it was
Wow nice find 😊
Good old school and the days were very good at 🏫 and work nice to live in fix it up for life. 😂. Lol from Victoria
Maybe used as a school house
+Stuart oliver didn't think about that.
@@CryptidHunter_official why?
I'm in the California valley and there is a house near me that looks nearly IDENTICAL to this one.
+Shiloh Rich really? That's pretty neat. It's rare to find abandoned homes out here that haven't been destroyed
Why do i feel depressed after I watch these lol
0:56 get out of my house
I heard that too. I thought I was crazy. Scared the crap out of me.
Hey I just discovered your videos and I really like them man, I would never go anywhere near any haunted abandoned houses ahahah
you have really good thumbnails
Patrolling the mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter
We won't go quietly, the legion can count on that.
Nice built in cabinet and shelving. The windows between rooms is probably for air flow.
Good vid bro. I like those stills you dropped.✊
+Aimless Adventures 😎😎
lOOKS LIKE HOME.
It's kind of a neat house. bet it was nice when new
+bmg 470 I think so too
I have seen this in older homes. It is for free air flow to help cool and warm the house.
I’ve never seen old houses have windows in the closets like this did
A beautiful craftsman style
+pat goff ❤
Maybe the internal windows were there due to having reused materials from another building to make up this house. Thankyou for sharing.
Baby food in a can now that's old school. Wiring looks late 20 to early 30 saw the same thing in my grand parents home
right? I haven't seen one of those since I was a kid
I like the large rooms and the pretty built in cabinets .The window are very pretty .It looks like a Sears. Roebuck Craftsman style home . Where is this located ?
this was nice at one time .
Strange place weird rooms
Look up the history of the area. The large rooms and internal windows could be an old school
love weird houses
Who would be living in such a remote place-was this a ranch or farm? strange.
+Ad Mirer not that I know off, the nearest place would be death valley
Thing in the sink is a older type fly catcher, killer.
That old wiring is call knob and tube wiring
awesome place
+Nick B I agree, thanks for watching
Yeah I only thought that because I've been in some Victorian abandoned school here in the uk and they have this same kind of paint and cupboard spaces which look almost designed for use rather than look plus the doors look like fire spec
Anyone notice through the left window the animal running across the field at about the 4:19 mark?
issa car
Hey cryptid hunter the voice what sounded like get out of my house creepy place eerie cracking video keep safe out there mick Newcastle upon Tyne england stay strange
Great tour , but the connecting windows from room to room are strange. Never have seen that before , must be for some reason.
Cool video bro
+mags major thank yoi
