I'm wondering why the building's are so far apart from each other even though thos is supposed to be recreate its still different if anyone ever watched the show and came up with this idea 💡 which is a good one would actually see in the shows that there were more things like trees🌳 and bushes where they actually were and a and a round bench around a tree not to far from the mercantile and more grass and stones around another tree 🌳 its also the little things that matter as well not just putting standing cutouts of the building plz don't get me wrong I am a fan of the show and I'm just saying if anyone realise what I said is true and the little things make the difference as well someone just needs to look at the layout on the show is all thank you and thanks for sharing this I do appreciate it very much take care and God bless 🌤👼💓🙏🩷🕊🌿🪻🌿🌸🌿🪻🌿🌸🌿
I worked on all the facades plus was a tour guide. Although all the facades are in the exact same place as the original buildings were, they are not necesarilly the same size as the buildings. The facades were limited to 15 feet tall, which then limited the horitzontal size to keep the facades in the proper scale.
Its Not Walnut grove in Minesotta ..just the set for the series AT the Big Sky ranch in simy Valley in Los Angeles lol..just like the studios are in Los Angeles..its a show lol. 😅 Los Angeles show .
@@severinefisteberg8893 There are definitely no mountains. There's nothing but corn and soy bean fields surrounding Walnut Gove. And Plum creek is about 2 foot wide 99% of the time. They do put on an amazing pageant every summer.
@@jayallen5312 True. Also I heard the contract with the Simi Valley ranch was to leave it in the same condition they got it in. It would have been in violation of the contract to leave structures on the property.
Stan Ivar (who played Mr Carter),still has the original little house structure. Unfortunately, the estate(family) of Ed Friendly, won't allow it to be displayed.
Amazing ❤❤
Merci ❤ De France.

It seems like it would be more interesting to actually go into the buildings.

They were required to put the land back as they found it when the show ended.

I just wish you would show people the real walnut grove even if you take them to Hollywood
Me too .this IS los Angeles lol 'not Minesotta . It would be Interesting to show the Real village of walnut grove.
It seems very boring without the real buildings
Two reasons the buildings aren't there anymore.
I live 7 miles from Walnut Grove. Let me tell ya it looks nothing like the show.

The coughing is ridiculous.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Coughing … what kind of plague is on that damn tour ??
why all these people cough all the time in the background? If you have a cold then better stay at home!!
Maybe it's allergies
Todo muy feo y burdo, cómo no hubo un buen inversionista que en verdad hiciera un buen trabajo de reconstrucción.
they actually have to pay to look at cardboard ? this is a waste of money.
They could have left the building as is for purposes of museum.
Could be anywhere without the real town
That sucked. I wish they hadnt blown up the town
I heard Michael Landon did not want those buildings to be used in any other show
