Omg! I haven’t watched you in a whole year! I am so glad you showed up on my recommended. I only ever stopped watching you because I was in a phase of my art journey where I couldn’t find my style... I would try to replicate your style, but I would fail. I forced myself to to watch other things in hopes I wouldn’t want to copy you anymore. It took me a year! But I finally found my style! And even tho I feel bad for not watching for so long. I am glad I did, because if I hadn’t I would still be trying to replicate your style and I would have never moved forward! But now that I did find my style and I love it I will definitely be watching you again!

who was your inspiration for certain mediums of art? for example, dina norlund is my inspo for watercolor and ctchrysler is my inspo for emotion in the face

Mines Waffles for alcohol markers, and for digital art it’s lavendertowne. Also, if you want a good realistic artist, SuperRaeDizzle is very inspirational with realistic art.
Jazza gives me inspiration for not having to use expensive art supplies to make great art and just having fun with art no matter what. Dina Norlund is also a big inspiration for me for comics.
Edit: I almost forgot LeslieLu for digital art (colors) and Scomicmaker for her style. Anddddd I watch a lot of animators because their stories are rlly funny and I get inspired for comic strips that I might make in the future :)

Suggestion: take a picture of yourself in poses like these and use it as a reference! That way you can do any pose you like without having to find references online
I love these types of videos of Rin just drawing what she feels like. There’s so many videos of customizing and challenges but this to me is just so satisfying

I wish I was as sure about my style as you are Rin. I always draw something and then look on Pinterest and see someone I wish I could draw like. Their usually digital drawings and I’m a traditional artist. I’ve been trying to draw on my tablet with an app and a pen, but it is SO hard to learn. Not to mention I an not even confident in my drawings on paper😣

I’ve been having a lot of trouble with my style. It seems whenever I finally feel like I have a style I end up always telling myself that I need to improve, or change the style. Whenever I see someone else’s style I always tell myself that I need to draw like them. That they’re better than me. I always tell myself no but my hands start moving and sooner or later I’ve found another drawing that I compare my art to. It’s a big problem with me, not to mention I can’t draw a regular human it always has to be half-human, half-animal.

I've been there before and my advice to you would be to not stress it! I know it sounds cliché but that's the truth.
look at artists you like and see what you like about their style and incorporate it in yours and see what u end up with. experiment with different features and don't forget to have fun! art is meant to be enjoyed
I hope one day you can look at your art and truly be proud, don't stop believing ❤

I search a difficult poses on Pinterest to learn anatomy and it's really helpful.....
I recommend other beginner artists to try Drawing people in different poses after you've learnt about straight standing pose. It's a great exercise to learn about human anatomy.....
Also it would be great to have a separate sketchbook for anatomy practice... But it's your choice.
I have an idea for a future video!: Do a challenge, where you find a bunch of poses, and this can be a Series i’m sure a lot of people would like it, and then when you found the poses on pinterest, you take one of the “365 day challenge” sketch books that you got in a scrawlr box (if you remember, the ones that were hard to open haha) and fill one of them out with different poses. Just an idea :) luv u bai☺️

I really have no ability to draw and I'm really not interested in learning but I LOVE your videos like this. Talking through how things work and what you're learning is so interesting to me. But also just the commitment you have to learning more and improving is really motivating, you're often my study buddy on in the background as a reminder that you can keep going over the same thing and learn more and more and more.

I just want to say thank you. After weeks of saving up and months of drawing every day just to think i deserve it, I have ordered the 48 set of ohuhu brush markers and the illo sketchbook. You inspire me so much. I would have quit months ago if I didn't find your channel. You show that you can always make mistakes, and that's something I had to learn to understand. I was getting so frustrated with myself at the start of the year and quit art for about a month. Then I found your channel. You inspired me to draw again, with just school paper and a pencil. It took me a while to relearn it, but I got better at it. It was extremely hard and I drew every day for 4 months. I'm still drawing every day (except for on art blocks). I know you probably wont read this, but thank you so much for the inspiration and helping me not quit one of the things that make me happiest.

I love that you did these kinds of poses and left the references in the description 😆 I’ve been trying these poses without references or just been trying to find good references and could find them 😭 so thank you. I’m definitely going to be trying a lot of those poses today.
