+Alex Jenseth Hi. I'd totally would want to buy a copy of this for myself. If you don't mind, could you let me know where I could contact the seller? This show is a huge reason I became a social worker. my gmail account is at sdelrosario.chi
I was a young child when this show aired... I think I have a vague recollection of the music and maybe part of one of the episodes . It's really a shame it only lasted one season and wasn't given a chance as it was very intelligent and well written ( David Susskind himself created the show) and obviously ahead-of-its-time . You can't go wrong with George C Scott and Cicely Tyson and it's really a shame but her character was written out . Had that show been allowed to follow its own trajectory it probably would have been on the air at least a good eight years .
As to the show, now -- decades later -- America has 43 million on food stamps, U-6 unemployment is 9.7 percent, 94 million are out of the workforce, and there are 12 million illegal immigrants driving down wages.
JoeyBoey...you're a hero! Thank you for posting the show!!!
I actually bought DVD rips of this show from some guy once because I couldn't find it anywhere else. Great to see it here!

nope its te ceos who r lowering wages anti union etc
This episode was poorly written, drawing heavily from stereotypes.and shallow dialog in the TV broadcast scene.
