Just gonna say it and I hope I don't jinx it. Don't think I've ever seen a game studio in my lifetime as a gamer that has only released PERFECT or NEAR PERFECT releases. Nothing subpar. Hats off to you, Supergiant. Long may your reign be. And no, it's not just the Supergiant name we should salute. It's every single dang soul who works under their flag. You're the beating heart of gaming perfection over there. Keep it up, the world needs you. :)
Ah I remember this one exactly I put Spark as an upgrade on Jaunt. That and Charm ended my battles so quickly I felt godly....in hindsight I think it was mostly the music that set mood. Sooo Good. "Woo"- the User from Transistor
inspiration could've been drawn, but the "japanese-tune" is so generic that it could be a complete coincidence. listen to more western stuff that wants to sound japanese or just asian in general and you'll find many more "rip offs" of the AoE-track
The Black Bishop I agree. That four-note jingle plus the main melody is practically identical to the AOE theme. I'm not sure what to do with this information... Suddenly this feels cheap...
Since you might not be the only one who is interested, I'll leave here some of my notes: 1) The first Jerk fight, where Transistor says "Back back back back" 2) In front of the gates that lead to Kendrells Those two are for sure. Maybe if I won't be lazy and will be attentive enough, I'll update the comment with another places I'll find. I'm a newbie, so I am going though second walkthrough now :)
I feel like i heard this song before... Anyone remember Ages of Empires for the DS? If not, look up "Ages of empires Minomato Yoshitsune theme" and you'll find that the songs are basically the same.
The sky looks blue cause we want it to.
Yes sir
Simulation confirmed
Came here from Livrah's video, because I took an interest. This is now in my playlist.
Thanks for not monitizing these. Tim Hortons screaming about their dark roast really breaks the immersion.
monetizing
This isn't a vote... it's a choice.
I love the drums to death in this one
They're sick!!! 😍🤩 I didn't noticed them before. And this is one of my favorite soundtracks from the game.
This feels so much like Bastion. Two incredible games.

Love this soundtrack. Getting a little bit of a "Kingdom Hearts"/Yoko Shimomura feeling at 0:30!
LOL ME TOO
I know you commented 10 years ago but, personally the melody reminds me of TBOI

I legitimately want to know why someone disliked this. I'm not mad, I'm just incredibely curious.
That one dislike though

I knew I heard this before!! "Minamoto Yoshitsune" from Age of Empires NDS game :D
Holy crap... It's a perfect match (ruclips.net/video/7QLmygVEjeU/видео.html)

Faude18 no but really even the little jingle that separates the melody is identical

@@lp6243 you're right lol...
One of my favorite from the game
so much love for this game
*back back back back back back back*
Is it just me or this is similar to Age of Empires Minamoto Yoshitsune?
Besides the Backdoor()'s Jukebox(),where does this tune play? The question gnaws at my mind, soul, and flays my being!
I think it's the Spine Boss theme? Not sure otherwise.
Okay I actually found it, it's the theme for the little swarm of process outside Grant and Asher's locked door (After it gets unlocked)

love this song!!!
I'm surprised no one mentioned it : Aphex Twin - Vordhosbn.
Transistor is one of the most fun games I've ever played.
I’m so glad someone gave me the game’s name so I could finally find this song. :D Thanks random commenter!!
Just amazing and soulful soundtrack! I can live with character and beyond. Thanks for that sounds and feeling s
Minamoto Yoshitsune

there are matching motifs, but it's not that close. Not if you pay attention.
One of my favs. Do anyone knows the music genre for this? i want more :3
TheD3Z3r7 Sounds like DnB. Don't know what sub-genre it would be though.
TheD3Z3r7 with that piano note and electric guitar it's probably liquid dnb,
although it's really rare to hear something as dramatic as this :O
A kind of similar track would be the Professor Layton & Assassin's Creed Remix by Zack Bogucki
Darren Korb describes it as "Electronic Post-Rock"
Yo devs you guys got an answer to the whole this is from AOE DS question?
playing this on 1.25x makes it feel chaotic
There's a version of this without the beats that plays in a cutscene towards the end of the game. Anyone know if it's out there somewhere?
blow the opamp under boterman at tc ede an operational amplefier the oldest transitor
Pretty reminiscent of watch?v=7QLmygVEjeU
Forecast is still my favorite theme to bash Process with :D
Liquid dnb :0
