You should have went with a banks Pedal monster. More features. And. If there's ever a problem with the throttle the banks automatically goes back to factory so you still have throttle. A lot of these other companies do t do that. Meaning if there's a problem your dead in the water. Any ranger or ford in general questions let me know. I'm in NC too.
I purchased one....WOW, it's a night and day difference. Got it in normal mode now next tank of gas gonna put it in economy mode see how it works. Tried a performance mode and it's unbelievable. Thanks. Take care.
Glad you like it! I run mine in P1 most of the time, but I put it in eco mode for long highway trips and it does make a difference. The race performance mode is really fun too!
Don't quote me on this, because I really don't know, but I think it also changes the way the vehicle's computer "talks to the transmission" . It's not just a 'Throttle Response'. That's just what I think, not what I know lol.
Based on my experience, this makes a lot of sense. I like to hit the plus or minus button on the stick (while still in auto drive mode) so that I can see what gear I'm in. I punched it in race mode yesterday and saw it from 7th gear straight down to 3rd!
Been watching your videos for awhile now! Definitely gives me ideas on what upgrades to do to my own ranger. keep up the good work!
Thanks so much man! I'm so glad that I can help!

Thanks! I haven’t had any issues at all and I love the throttle response on this unit.
@@MicahMartinDIY just a recommendation. Give it a try.

Any negatives to report using it?how many miles since it's been installed? Thanks for the reply.
Have you tried the eco mode for an extended period of time? Do you know if it actually improves gas mileage? Awesome videos by the way!
I have, and it does! I averaged 22.5 mpg on my last trip of over 1,000 miles.
My throttle light came on in my 2019 ford, and my truck started messing up,maybe I need a new one.
This might fix it. I’ve never seen that light come on.
Have you played with Rangers SPort Mode? Pretty much does the same thing for free.
I am not aware of a sport mode in my trim package. Am I missing something?
Would this effect the truck if you a tune from a programmer, per say like a superchips, SCT, diablosport ect?
Good question. I'm not certain. I would ask the manufacturer of programmer itself.
$130? 😶 I didn’t spend that much. But yes they do work, had one before I got my ranger tuned.
Oh, I hope I didn't overpay, but I do love it. Makes a huge difference in the driving experience.
@@MicahMartinDIY I just bought one off of Amazon for $60.00 cdn. I love the throttle response. No fuel savings for me. lol
does this help a lot in a EcoBoost ranger? Just got a 2023 Ranger.
Yes absolutely! You should get it! Completely customizes your driving experience!

@@MicahMartinDIY Ya, it's definitely more than throttle response.
It's like having a Bronco's Goat modes, too, I think.
