Tired of the national media trash talking Kansas City as a city. I’ve been to NYC to SF to Chicago, all the way to DFW and most cities in FL. Nothing wrong with KC, not a boring town in comparison. Boring people get board, interesting people can always find something to enjoy and be a part of.
Most national media is either from the East or West coast though. The Midwest in general is 'boring' in comparison to what the other parts of the nation has to offer. Oceans/beaches, Huge cities, active night life. And ive lived in Kansas City, Missouri my whole life. We just don't have the flashy tourist destinations like New York, Florida and California have to offer. But what we do have is hospitality and the decency to make outsiders feel welcomed, or at least comfortable with what we do have to offer, for the most part. And honestly I'll take our boring humble way of life over the chaotic hustle and bustle of why "we're better than everyone else"
It is media elitism, and it is also just elitism in general. The main centres of population and trendiness are on coasts of the US, especially the Northeast and in California. Missouri and Kansas are considered by them to be typical flyover country. Compared to the Southern California, Bay Area California, and a Northeastern Megaolopolises, Kansas City is a small place, especially in terms of population. But, it is still part of the top 50 Metropolitan Areas in the country. There's a lot of things to do and that are done. I for one believe that industrial activity, even as much as people consider it difficult, dangerous, dark, and dirty is very important, and Kansas City still retains a lot of it. In fact, it is important, regardless of what I or anyone thinks of it. Kansas City is a modern place.
Nathan Fuller No one’s trashing KC. All the pundits are picking the Chiefs to win. But as a someone born and raised in the Bay Area who spent college years in Kansas City, I do think the 816 is boring. But you are right about the midwestern hospitality!

Lamar Hunt walked up to our tailgate back in the 90s just strolling through the parking lot and said Hi had a brief conversation and moved on. Top shelf man. We were all blown away. Nah this 49ers defense isn’t close to the legion of boom in there prime while the 49ers have a elite defense they don’t have a all time great defense like the Seahawks team did that year and Mahomes ain’t manning either
@D.W. Shepherd Your comment doesn't make sense even as a joke because the whole point of my comment is that people said the broncos offence was unstoppable (like the chiefs) and then a great defense stopped them.
Think Tony was talking about the Ravens game in 04'. Ray Lewis was complaining to his coach about being double teamed all game but was just being single block dominated by Shields and Waters that whole game.
Imagine Mahomes, kelce, and Gonzalez on the same team....
Throw a JC25 or PH31 prime on there. Lol
Love you, Tony G. You are the GOAT.
Where are you coming up with this stuff calling what you think just because the way the playoff games were he's never been rushed all year are you serious we do have Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram in our division and Von Miller
They need to hype it. Just like king Henry is unstoppable, Watson is a magician, and now the unstoppable front 4 of the niners. Hype hype hype for the casual fan.
We don’t claim him. Our TE is Travis Kelce. This guy spent all these years here, & says the Falcons made his career.
Chiefs offense 2003? Trent Green,, one of best
Too bad we had an epically bad defense that year. 97 was the exact opposite....had an awesome defense and a meh offense.
It will need to be a shootout for the Chiefs to win against a fast and strong Niners team. I think Mahomes is up to the task.
Wow very interesting chiefs history especially a great owner? That’s wonderful! More Gonzalez and less cowherd
littlesame nfl sucks nba is king
@@cyrusnassery8602 Explain why NFL has better ratings then? Also explain why NFL brings in more revenue than the NBA. Also explain why the Super Bowl has more viewers then the NBA finals...
Ethan Hsiao nfl is boring nba is exciting
@@cyrusnassery8602 The amount of revenue the NFL brings in compared to the NBA begs to differ.
I wish Tony G will stop shatting on my city, KC!
I believe IMO K.C has to start off hot, and score quick to win this game... if they settle in and it’s a close one, I believe the 49ers will take home the Lombardi. KC defense will not be able to hold up all game vs that 49ers line & blockin schemes.. don’t even get me started with Kyle Shanahans amazing halftime adjustments.. which is one of Andy Reids weaknesses
Richard Sherman subliminal @ 3:41
love Gonzo, met him.. But give me Travis Kelce
Good take from the Hall of Famer, Tony Gonzalez. I think KC wins in a tight game because of Mahomes.
Wonder if he drives that desk home
Pfft. Some of you guys. I was at a Chiefs game in '69. I'm soo old.
I wish I had went to a game in '69. My dad went to a game in the regular season of their SB year tho. I went to the GB game in the regular season. Didn't get to see Mahomes play, but I can say my dad and I have something in common... besides being Chief fans!
Yeah we're boring but we like it that way.
Once a Chief always a Chief. We love you #88 and always will.
Yeah yeah yeah whatever Tony.
Can Tony come out of retirement and get the superbowl ring when the Chiefs win??😎😎😎
It was Larry Johnson
P B what was?
Tony G didn't remember the second RB that ran all over the falcons that day
P B yes he did. It was Derrick Blaylock. LJ hadn’t taken the diapers off yet.
@@stephenragsdale9123 you're right. Sadly I remember that game I just don't remember that RB. And Larry Johnson played with Priest Holmes
P B yea, Larry blew up the last 4 games of that season after the other 2 got hurt
I appreciate what Tony is trying to do...but he said what he meant. the midwest does not 'forgive" like Hollywood..so..its gonna take a while.
I'll never forgive Tony Gonzalez for what he said.
Bro disowned the Chiefs until they started winning regularly. I'm not a fan anymore
But Atlanta “made” your career right?
This segment is exactly the same as last week when Tony was on, ask new questions colin
If Chiefs can keep 49ers from getting to Mahomes...Chiefs win. It's all about slowing 49ers D line.
Tony was like Winslow Sr. Great receiver but couldn't block my 2 yr old son. JS
Your son is a beast though
I love Tony. Is he trying not to do the coke jaw?
Still sold us chiefs fans out. He's not fooling us true fans.
What do you mean you were never on great teams??? 97 and 2003 we were 13-3 and were upset by the Broncos and Colts. Tony didn't come along until 1997 but the Chiefs had the 2nd best record in the NFL from 1990 to 2003.
Not yet ...one more game to be "full of themselves"!!Lol
Everyone believes the niners can't stop mahomes I get it,jimmy. G aint as good as mahomes but its mahomes against the defense last, time,I seen, niners. Defense isnt, the same type of defense anyone has played not even, the ravens got the best of. The niners defense, without dee ford and kwon Alexander, and without tartt

Why he doesnt go to undisputed anymore?
