Assalamu alaikum. Good advice. For those that want to follow a path of knowledge while hopefully waiting to get into the university, or instead of (don't make any plans on getting accepted there, just apply but continue moving on, and if you are accepted Allhamdulillah) I can highly recommend this path. One or two years in Egypt to get basic Arabic and Quran down. One year in Mauritania to really try to master your Arabic. Then go to Sudan for either African University or Kulliya Jebra. There are lots of shaykhs in Sudan now from Yemen, and the mashaykh that have been there, the Sudanese have studied under the biggest shaykhs of our times. This path could be just as or maybe even MORE beneficial to you then going to Madina University.
@@Hejeeh72 brother I’m from UK too thinking where to go . But in the UK there are many institutions for us as well so we’re lucky in that sense . I’m confused where to go too tho . There’s part time courses we can do along with studies. Depends where you’re from really.
salafism is bad term using by media, yes they follow the minhaj salafi, which mean the understanding of the quran and sunna according to the prophet, the 1st generation of sahaba, the 2nd (tabi3ine), and the 3nd generation. U can call it "wahabism" which is also called by media like that, but it's the true islam, you will never find them contradictory with the quran and sunna

which school of thought do madina university teach?
Salafi
they teach the madhab of imam ahmad ibn hanbal, their aqeedah is athari/salafi and their manhaj (methodoogy) is salafi
@@alii7520 you can learn hanafi in masjid nabwi by applying at Madina university
@@AhmedIbrahim-wc5ml They don't force you to be hanbali, you can apparently go as a Shaf'i and stay a Shaf'i
