Everything is wonderful! It's hard to believe you can move your feet on the pedals so fast! I imagine it must have taken a long time for you to arrange this music for the organ! It was a wonderful job! The video is also incredible with so many details of this beautiful Church, its elegant columns and the sculpted details on the wonderful organ! You two outdid yourselves! One more symphonic poem that Jonathan Scott has masterfully transcripted and played. Another shiny diamond of orchestral great organ piece is added to the Jonathan’s precious repertoire. Walt Disney (a deep and sensitive music expert) selected that Dukas’s piece as opening chapter of his fabulous movie Fantasia. I can only say: wonderful, thank you!

To state the obvious, this is an extremely virtuosic performance. The virtuosity here is all at the service of the music but this makes the Durufle Toccata look like a beginner level work. Scott Brothers you are absolutely at the top of your musical/artistic game. Congratulations and thank you!!

This puts the familiar 'Sorcerer's Apprentice' on a completely new plain: in places, quite disturbing.
The musical pyrotechnics are remarkable ... and what was happening in those two novel pedal runs?!
Once more, Jonathan's mastery of the instrument and Tom's video recording set the bar even higher.
To find a real, big new-old post romantic Walcker organ i suggest the Walcker-Seifert organ in pfarrei St. Antonius, in Papenburg. It's the old Walcker organ previously in Hans-Sachs Haus

Fantastic, it of course brings me back to watching Fantasia growing up. I don't know if you enjoy video games, but something from the Castlevania: Symphony of the Night soundtrack would be incredible.

Another superb performance by Jonathan. But i'm going to invite a torrent of disagreement by saying I think his performance of this same piece, some 8 years ago, on the Bridgewater Hall organ sounds even better. Not because Jonathan played it any better, but because the reverb in a church or cathedral setting doesn't suit this, in parts, brisk composition. There's a lot going on in Jonathan's transcription and it's better heard on the BHO which has great clarity. For those who don't know, the earlier performance is still on RUclips but you have to search it out - it's not top any random lists generated by RUclips. Compare the two & see what you think!!
I do agree that some pieces are better heard in a venue without lots of reverberation as is typical of a great cathedral with the majority of surfaces being hard stone or wood.
