- 🎵 Star Wars: The Throne Room - Organ Performance by Manuel Böhm🎵
Today I'm in the beautiful Gothic "Elisabethkirche" in Marburg. It is the oldest Gothic church in Germany and was built between 1235-83 over the grave of Saint Elisabeth (1207-1231). Due to the burial place of Saint Elisabeth, the church was formerly a pilgrimage church and served as the burial place of the Hessian landgraves and was an important church of the Teutonic Order. The church's historic choir is currently being restored.
The Klais-organ in the Elizabeth Church was inaugurated on November 5, 2006. According to many experts, is now one of the most important organs in the regional church of Kurhessen-Waldeck! In this video you will hear the immense power of this organ with its 57 stops.
🎥 About this Video:

Everytime a Star Wars fan has a wedding, this should be played in church instead of Mendelson.
This was played at mine instead of the traditional recessional. Our DJ found organ version. Loved it. So did or guests.
That was exactly what was played in my wedding, 22 years ago....
If I'm lucky enough to marry someone who is as nerdy as I am, I certainly will have it played. I was thinking the entrance music at the reception for being announced as Mr. and Mrs.
This should also be considered as a replacement for the traditional " Pomp and Circumstance" that they play at every graduation ceremony... Would be much more epic.
@@cronistamundano8189 10 years for me 😁
OMG you’d think John Williams wrote this piece for the organ❤❤
Absolutely! Film music sounds surprisingly good on the organ. Especially Star-Wars🤗🎶
@@OrganSoundsProduction wgich is kind of a testament to how brilliant the music is written
Probably, close...I suspect he picked out all his music on a piano first, which is a lot easier to play, than transcribed it to all the other instruments by notation later.
@@OrganSoundsProduction It would be cool if you did a recording of the concert version of the "Throne Room Theme" that was done for Episode 3 end credit music, it starts at 6.43 ruclips.net/video/ZK52tEenER8/видео.html (link to the music) of the end credits score, and goes on until 11,13, though one can make a case for it going on all the way to the end of the piece, so it is a very expanded version of the theme, with other themes woven into it, it is also played at a slower pace so it has a bit softer more somber feel, not as martial as the original throne room theme, which was "speed up" to fit within the frame of the pace of the film scene.
@@HimmelGanger I just listened to it. It's amazing!!!
I will definitely arrange it when I have time. I'm preparing for two concerts in the next few weeks, so it will take some time 😆
All the best, stay tuned!🤗
Imagine randomly walking into this empty church and hearing this magnificent music. It would be a stunning and unforgettable moment!
I just realized that John Williams must have been getting a decent amount of inspiration from Sir Edward Elgar.
He's said in many interviews that the B section was meant to evoke "Land of Hope and Glory."
This is in some respects much better than the orchestral
@@adamokolicsanyi4774 Thank you very much!☺️🙏
Orchestal music mostly sounds very good one the organ. Especially Star Wars or The Lord of the Rings😀
Stay tuned!🤗🎶
Not what I was looking for, but definitely what I needed
My God.... I'm.... blown away.... magnificent!
Thanks so much!🙏🤗🎶
What an amazing journey through the sounds! That was epic!!!
@@robbow2220 Thanks!🙏☺️🎶
It was a lot of fun playing this amazing piece😃
J'aime bien les basses, et c'est super beau
Today we lost THE voice of the Dark Side of the Force. James Earl Jones, Rest in Peace. 93.
May the Force be with you.
Oh! YES! This gives me vibes of the soundfont used for Nintendo 64 games. Reminding me of some classic Star Wars gaming experiences of my childhood ❤
I hope (I'm 48 and single) that I will use this as the exit march. The entrance will be to "The Entrance of the Queen of Sheba" (look it up)
May God bring your husband into your life and may this be part of it. May The Force Be With You!
My goodness!, that high pressure reed for the opening fanfare is fantastic!
Yes, they are gorgeous😆🎶
Sounds far better than the original. Bravo!
Thanks!🤗🙏🎶🎶
How often has you begin that iconic part von EP IV
and played unstead the wedding march from Felix Mendelsohn?🤭
Fortunately, this hasn't happened to me yet😂😊
Fantastic performance.
@@JohnCavicchio Tanks a lot!🤗🎶🙏
As an organist I've always thought this would make a great wedding processional or recessional
BRAVO!
Rebel fan approved
Oh yes, this is magnificent. Excellent performance !
Thanks!🙏🤗🎶
This is amazing! I absolutely have no venue in which to play this but I must have the sheet music 😂 Where might I find it or purchase it? 😊
Yes, the piece is incredible and really fun to play😄
It's best to look online; I hope I'll be able to set up my shop this year :-)Then you can buy it there too🎶🎶🤗
@@OrganSoundsProduction Well I'll be on the lookout for your shop then!!
Imho, the single most beautiful Williams ' composition ever.
Sounds like Elgar ❤
Hi, Sir, may I ask for a permission to use this (with giving you credits in description, of course) as a timelapse music in one of my future videos as a big suprise to my audience? I really love this rendition of the music.
Keep it up, especially with other magnificent songs from big theaters!
Hi!
I'm glad you liked the piece. I'm honored that you would like to use my performance of this piece in a video. Thanks for asking before! I would like to think about it and then share it with you.😄
What type of video do you want to use it for? Could you please send me a message via Instagram? (@ organsoundsproduction)
@@OrganSoundsProduction Hi, I don´t do instagram. But I generally do game videos and use music for timelapses. But YT music is usually blend and inattractive for me and I can imagine that building something grandious in WRSR would really use your take on this music (after all my musical talent is limited to guitar, so definitely not this type of music).
Feel free to let me know, I generally am available here on YT and just didn´t want to "steal" the music without asking, seeing you respond to comments :)
@@siriusczech Hey, It would be fine for me if you use my arrangement as timelaps music for one video.
All the best, stay tuned🤗🎶
@@OrganSoundsProduction thank you :)
Really sounds like something that could be played at the end of mass!
@@Diaxminator Thanks! Or as an entry for a confirmation or a wedding...☺️🎶
What a delight!
This piece reminds me more of Walton than Elgar, however Walton was probably inspired by Elgar's Pomp and Circumstances pieces too.
Hatte schon ziemlich viel Power😁
