Hallo Leute :) Endlich! Ich bin nach 4 Monaten Weltreise wieder zurück in Deutschland und kann wieder Klavier spielen ;) War ne hammer Zeit aber jetzt bin ich einfach nur glücklich mich wieder voll meinem Hobby zu widmen. Wie gefällt euch meine Version von Marc Cohn's "Walking in Memphis" ? Ich LIEBE dieses Lied! Das verbreitet so eine besondere Atmosphäre - genial!

WOW! BEAUTIFUL! I have not tried to learn this song because my piano skills are not all that high. But, I would not have guessed that it was in the key of C.

Is that a Yamaha C3 or G3? Nice pianos, was looking at one myself but instead decided to try Schimmel instead, very nice playing, you should check out my version on my channel, although I play it on a much older 1920s era upright.

CreativePianoChannel Thank you mate, I was looking at a Yamaha C3 or something similar, but they sound just abit too clinical for me sometimes, but I am gonna try Schimmel's range, they're quite abit more exprnsive, but I want something to upgrade my Little 1930s Paul Newman Baby grand, don't have the £20,000 or so needed at the moment but I'm saving up for one, I've looked on the 2nd-hand market and it appears finding a good used , fairly modern piano that's no more than 10-20 years old that you like the sound of is a tricky business, hunting can be a nightmare especially if you don't have many piano places near you, as I don't just the one shop.

Trying to listen by ear and look at how you're playing to learn it :P A little difficult with the notes on the right hand, but awesome playing! Hopefully I can learn this :)
Donna Marshall Not to difficult a tune to learn, the chord pattern is basically the same all the way through, best thing to do is try to play the right hand melody as if you were singing it, sing it and try to play each note of the verse, leave out the Walking in Memphis chorus and then when you've got that right try the chorus, one bit at a time you'll get it, take it easy, btw I've got a version on my channel albet on a much older piano LOL.

Not for me to say, but I'm sure he won't mind as long as you link his cover / channel in the description. Most cover artists ask for this now, and I don't think any say no to using their music, so I presume you should be fine.
If you're unsure, I will be learning this soon, so just shoot me a message and I can see if I can borrow some recording equipment and get a recording for you. It won't sound exactly as in this video, but I can sure play it, it's manageable. Should be done in a month's time, though, so it might be a bit too late for you. I just don't have the time to finish it earlier, sorry.
