When I saw Paul Bunyan's arm, I flashed back to when you injured your shoulder riding the motorcycle. And yes, both Ethiopian food and coffee are wonderful!

WTR, HI, so now that you went to the SPAM museum, so I guess you found whom eats the most SPAM, I saw so many types I never knew exist .as you bought a few , nice trip though , , ever bought winter windshield wipers? I used to use them, but I do not drive much anymore .. KAIT cracks me up, but a. Wonderful person , asI recall she has a REALproblem with mosquitos , BTW, how is diesel recently , it’s $4 + here in NJ so food is up in cost, happy trails stay well, 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Welcome to my home state. There are lots of other awesome places to visit here. You were lucky to enjoy the headwaters alone. Unless it is off season, that area is always busy. BTW. Hickory smoked Spam tastes the same as bacon Spam which is our family’s favorite. Chorizo Spam is a close second. Of course, we usually only keep our Spam consumption for camping trips.
There is a cool webcam at the headwaters. I check it regularly, especially when my daughter and her friends wander up there from Park Rapids, another fun touristy town.
Welcome to MN! Glad you had a good time and great weather. We got loads of coffee shops/ houses, plenty to see and do too. Loads of state parks, and wild life besides mosquitoes. 🤣 We'll leave the light on.
Oh I love to place a job with two specially this spam and trusting in the waterfalls are beautiful yeah and that outfit she was wearing the beaver outfit that was cute so stay safe out there and be careful and have you traveled
Hello Russo's😊😊, this was a great video and really enjoyed the boat ride through Voyagers National Park. I'm a big fan of boat rides. I have also spent time in MN, traveling through Michigan's Upper Peninsula( I'm from RI )to check places like Duluth, Split Rock Lighthouse State Park, Betty's Pies, Isthaca State Park. However, I haven't visited Voyagers yet so at some point I will visit MN again to take those boat rides. Great Video👍👍👍👍👍!!
So glad you were made to feel welcomed her in Minnesota. We love our state...... Minnesota nice have you heard of that slogan! Come back again real soon. LOL about the spam you love we love it too! I love India food but can't seem to get family members onboard can I borrow you guys for dinner the next time you come? Lots to see here in the Southern part of the state too!.... Rochester has the Mayo clinic and lots of cute parks. Hugs from Minnesota
Your truck camper is honest, informative. Just what we need considering we have our truck and are now looking for the RIGHT camper. Trying to find the beginning of your 'show.' Keep up truck camping' and stay safe!
I am so glad you included Austin and the Spam museum! Spam is a joke to most people, but to those of us from Austin, it's great. I love that you brought up the pronunciation of Hormal. Voyagers National park is also a gem. You have so much more to see. Please come back and check out the river towns along the Mississippi.
Thank you for making such a quality video about my home. I had no idea the s Spam Museum is free- time for a geocaching road trip! That Ethiopian restaurant is the best. I especially love Kate's appreciation of our one and only national park. Soon after this video posted news outlets reported that Voyagers National Park is the least visited in the nation. Perhaps MN Dept. Of Tourism should enlist you two as park ambassadors! 😁
Native Minnesotan here. Our state is the home to the 2nd oldest family owned brewery, Shells!! Did you happen to try their best beer, Nordeast?? The best!
the nearby Crane Lake fishing lodge near Voyageur National Park had pontoon boat rentals a few years ago at least(maybe they still do). Could see the bears watching us eat our fish lunch while having lunch on an island with our fishing guide
We had a Broasted Chicken restaurant where I grew up. Dad would take us there quite often. It was always yummy. When you talked about it. Brought back memories.
A mutual acquaintance guessed that you were YOU on #TheNoodleLife lol…glad that you mentioned your other channel here on this video 👌🏼 Always my best to you 🤗
Love this type of exploration video. Thanks guys. I read both of your books and really appreciate them. Love it when people make their dreams come true!
I saw Paul Bunyan & Babe over 50 years ago, so seeing it your travels is amazing and sad at the same time. Amazed it is still there but sad that it is showing wear.
Some high school kids had broken his arm a few days prior so it looked like not only were they repairing it but restoring it as well. They are very proud of those two statues.
Hey Russos, I passed you guys up in the Fred Meyer parking lot here in Klamath Falls, Oregon. yesterday on 06/24/2021. Your rig looks awesome! Did not have time to stop but perhaps we will get to meet you folks someday!
So glad I discovered this channel. Living the content so far. Also I had no idea people ate snap without frying or grilling it first. Tastes so much better that way.
Actually the mississippi starts in lake Rosavelt which is part of the white fish lakes, all by little rivers in to the Mississippi. I've canoe it many times from are cabin down to Mold.were your father would picks us up in time for high school start.
Glad you enjoyed the Moroccan food.. It was a favorite of mine when I lived in Chicago and I miss it now. Injera bread always seems to expand after you eat it. I always are too much and then felt more and more full as the night went on.
I like a super dark roast, espresso strength. I just got an Aeropress, but I am hesitant. I’ve passed on them before because of the potential to be really messy if it tips over while pressing (we’re always slightly off level and everything feels disorienting inside) I took a small Nespresso machine along, but it just took up too much space for our Travato. Mostly we drink Starbucks vVia instant Italian roast on the road. Good enough for camping.

Born and Raised in Minnesota!! Haven’t been home in many years. Thanks for bringing me back home for a few minutes.
Sleeping with wool is great. It breathes, so you are not damp.
Interstate parks, MN &WI, are geology fascinating.
So glad you could visit my state. You did pick some beautiful parts for your first visit. Please come again.
You are so right there is so much more to see!! You barely touched the surface of MN!!
I'd kill myself if I saw any more of this shitty state
When I saw Paul Bunyan's arm, I flashed back to when you injured your shoulder riding the motorcycle. And yes, both Ethiopian food and coffee are wonderful!
My wife would itch just at the mention of wool 😂. I slept under a wool blanket many nights in the army. Great video 👍🏼
I am like your wife, allergic to wool. Itch, itch.

Kate....good to see your hair growing out. It looks nice.
Fasika is a great restaurant, glad to see it is still open. Come back there is more to see and enjoy.
Slice thin and fry until crisp
Didn't realize I had OCD until I started seeing the cracked windshield in your videos. 👀 🤣
The pup looks like an Irish Terrier. Great dogs.
I was thinking the same thing. I would be replacing it ASAP!
Probably one of the common hazards of 4-wheel, off-road camping. The sides of the vehicle look nice, but they've probably been marred and scraped.
You guys went to Bemidji and Lake Itasca State Park! I was also there several years ago! It's beautiful over there!🌲

We stayed at Gooseberry. I thought I may have seen you guys. And also stayed at Judge C.R. Magney State Park.
Brilliant thanks for sharing your video 🌊🚣🏼🚐
Love Ethiopian food! That veggie sampler looked delicious :)
Glad you enjoyed my beautiful home state!
I liked the feature on the Woolen Mill. I’m sure they can use all the free PR they can get!
It was a fun stop and we really enjoyed meeting Bill.
The Ethiopian food looked amazing
Gotta love Ethiopian food & coffee! You got to check out a few of my favorite places. Gotta love that gorgeous state & its people.
I had plenty of it in Ethiopia... loved it there.
Welcome!
Love Minnesota.
Ah! You were in my neck of the woods. Every single one of us Bemidji hockey moms has bought a pair of those mittens. :)
Kait loves those mittens.
Ahhhhh...this is living! 😀👍🤗🙋♀️
On a more genuine note, I appreciate the obvious mutual adoration you have for each other.
Thanks for Visiting & Enjoying our State of Minnesota
The early Itasca explorers were plagued by “vicious musket toes.” We were too!
Thanks for sharing.
I hope you enjoyed your hike through the Van Vliet Hemlocks state natural area near Presque Isle.
Great video 📹👍👏my friend 📹. See you on the next one and have the most amazing day everyone.

Minnesota, the US state with the most lakes after Alaska. They tipify a water pool as a lake if larger than 10 acres.
Something I thought I’d never see, the start date f the Mississippi River!! Thanks for taking us along.
That dog on the boat is so cool.
❤️ from Sydney 🇦🇺
So Glad to see another video! Keep looking for Kate's Cook Book!
nice to have your new park videos back. Lately, a lot of people spend a lot of time talking into their camera in the videos.

Such a great video! A great mix of the camper/truck and the traveling portion of the trip.

Kate, where did you get the jacket with mosquito netting? I want one! Thanks for the fun video.
Awesome pupper, but 100% not an Irish Setter. Perhaps an Irish Terrier?
That was a great episode. Thanks
I think that was an Irish Wolfhound. I am glad to see you were up in our neck of the woods (Presque Isle WI). I hope you had fun!!
The dog looked like an Irish Airdale terrier. Great video, we too are currently visiting Minnesota (Mankato). My wife's home stomping grounds.
We had a Broasted Chicken restaurant where I grew up. Dad would take us there quite often. It was always yummy. When you talked about it. Brought back memories.
Grew up camping near Itaska state parkevery summer, boy that sure brought back lots of memories

I so love Minnesota. Great video. Thank you for sharing and be safe.

Is this an food show or a travel show.
Great video!! Always enjoy the content!
Spam Museum must be relatively new. My grandparents lived in Austin when I was a kid and I sure don't remember it.
Hey Russos, I passed you guys up in the Fred Meyer parking lot here in Klamath Falls, Oregon. yesterday on 06/24/2021. Your rig looks awesome! Did not have time to stop but perhaps we will get to meet you folks someday!
Love seeing my home turf on videos.
If Kait can handle Minnesota mosquitos, you can definitely handle the ones here in Alaska. 😊

Great vlog! Love these travel ones. I could hear Monty Python spam song in my head…..Kait loved your new bug suit!
So glad I discovered this channel. Living the content so far. Also I had no idea people ate snap without frying or grilling it first. Tastes so much better that way.

U should go back for the colors in the fall. Beautiful and less bugs

Fancy you two visiting Spam Museum when the both of you live like spam in the can :))))))
Glad you enjoyed the Moroccan food.. It was a favorite of mine when I lived in Chicago and I miss it now. Injera bread always seems to expand after you eat it. I always are too much and then felt more and more full as the night went on.
