My husband watched this video about 50 times trying to make sure he made the cup turner as close to yours as as possible. Not an exact match but he did it!! Thanks for the awesome video and for putting the materials used in the description box!! Now I can finally start applying epoxy on my projects!
Norkita White Awesome! Good luck! It’s worked for me for quite a while. Not a bad option if you don’t want to purchase one premade.
Hi there Minderella!! I applied epoxy to my first cup using my turner and I got dimples and a lot of bubbles and the bottom near the crease of my tumbler just wouldn't take the epoxy. Any advice on what I am doing wrong?
I would watch my epoxy video. I go over a lot of these issues in that video that might help you. Couple notes...you want a clean surface, clean with acetone. You want to make sure you don't use too much heat or the epoxy will thin and separate. You want to make sure that you stir your epoxy slowly to not incorporate too much air or you will have too many bubbles. Use a heat gun or torch to get rid of pesky bubbles that remain when you apply. Apply lightly, don't press so you're not adding bubbles when you apply it.
Hey I love it because you put subtitle so I understand what you staying because I have hear impaired sometime I could not hear people talking background but this is really helpful thank you 😊 xx
Thank you for the demonstration! I don't make mugs but I could use this for some of my attempts at creativity. I really appreciate it.
I was 4 minutes into the video before I realized the lullaby was playing in your video. I was looking all over my house trying to figure out what I left on.
xyngchic LOL!!
Girl you would be good at ASMR because this video is relaxing! Lol!
PotataPie Lol! Thank you!
I enjoyed the video, but found the instruction not clear. Just a suggestion, if you build another one show your process, measurements and a list of all supplies. This is the best one ive seen.
Unfortunately I built these and didn’t think about it while I was building. People kept asking when I had posted my videos so this was the best I could do. Measurements wouldn’t be exact since they’re different for everyone and my two aren’t the same. 😊
What motor did you buy? Thanks
Thank you for breaking this down. I went blank when trying to make a sturdy turner or two or 8.
Very helpful, thank you. I can't seem to buy a tumbler turner in England, so it looks like I'll need to make one myself...after watching your video - I'm going to give it a try...thank you so much.x
Fabulous work this is so relaxing to watch and listen thank you for sharing your techniques I wish you all the success and blessings from God
OMGosh this is so awesome! Thank you for sharing and the little footballs, thats so smart!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks! Footballs were totally not my idea...but they work great!
Thank you Mindy! I was waiting for this one 😊 I’m hard at work n my checkered cup. It’s not as good as yours but I’m learning so much from this cup.
Marjet Knight Glad to help! You’ll have to share it so I can see it!
Mindy, it’s all done being glittered. Later I’ll seal it, then epoxy this week.
Thank you SO SO SO much for this info!!!! Your work is so inspiring!
Mona Kimble Thank you and you’re welcome! 😊
Thank you for all your help.
I wish u sold this turner bc it's the best one that I've seen. I don't have the skill to make my own.
A James Thanks! Maybe you can find someone to help? I don’t usually build things but my husband was busy so I made the second one (in front) all by myself! Lol. Check Etsy as I know there are quite a few being sold there
Thank you so much, this is exactly how I want to set up my turner. I have one that works for me, but I hate that when my husband and I built it I didn't think about coffee cups. Time to rebuild. :)
Where do you find your footballs? I have searched every store I can think of in my area and they are either way too big or small and same thing with the pool noodles. I'm going crazy trying to find a football! 😂 Thank you! Your videos are great to watch
Footballs are purchased from Dollar Tree.
I love the ideas however If I don't have the equipment can I just use a brush to place the epoxy on the glass if not can I get an alternative please.
Epoxy is self leveling so you’d need a way to turn it if you don’t have a rotisserie. You can use a silicone brush to apply it if you don’t have gloves.
Thanks Mindy
Everyone that put thumbs down can catch these hands
Just found your video and it’s by far the best I’ve seen! How is the turner working out? Is it still working? How are the motors ? Hoping to purchase my motors today!
I changed mine up a bit as the pvc was wearing a bit on the wood and I wanted something more permanent. The motors so far have been fine. I just used a T shaped PVC and stuffed a sock in to hold the pvc in place. That's the only change I made.
@@MinderellaCreations can you show a picture of where you made this change?
Alex Ramos Check out my newer videos as I’m not able to share pics here.
Hey Mindy! Great video! Been interested in doing this for a while. After the last coat of epoxy, how long is it usually on the turner? I work with resin but not with the cups. Can one be made without having the turner? Seen the hand turning but never saw what you do during the curing process (without a motor turner). So the resin doesn't cure the drips... that would mean a lot of sanding. Ugh.. ; ) Love your video's!! Merry Christmas!! Hugs from Texas : )
Kelly W. On the rotisserie I let it ride for about 6 hours at least. Then it’s usually touchable after 10-12. You can hand turn. Check out my other videos for manual turners and a tutorial for that process.
The epoxy is the best way to clear coat to get the prettiest shine and sparkle. You can use dishwasher safe mod podge on coffee mugs as well. They take 28 days to cure.
Merry Christmas!!
Thanks Mindy! How much of a difference is it when using the different Mod Podges...since it is being coated with the epoxy anyway? Does one adhere better to the epoxy? Seen some people use the dishwasher safe instead of the "hard" like you do. Do ya always use a spray enamel after the glitter coats before the epoxy? What about if just using epoxy like you did on this cup? Sorry for picking your brain...LOL I appreciate your help!! : )
Kelly W. If on a double walled tumbler the mod podge doesn’t matter. If you’re using a mug or mason jar or something I would use dishwasher safe since it’s made for water/condensation.
I only use the spray sealer if I do multiple colors and want a straight line. I do not always use it.
Thanks for your help Mindy!! : )
Kelly W. Do these turners cost a lot of money on the electric bill??
How do you connect the rod to the pvc pipe? Thank you! My husband thanks you too!
I wrapped tape around mine until it was hard to get the pvc on it and it stayed well
Those are very nice!
You're amazing, thank you for so much information.
How do you get the footballs to not stick to the cups while glazing on the rotisserie?
I push them in far enough there is a hang over part. I don’t put epoxy there. 😊
Where do you find these size footballs the ones I find are either way to big or way to small.
Dollar Tree
So talented
hi, i love watching your videos. I have learned a lot from them. thank you very much. my husband just made me one, but it goes supper slow. any chance you may know why???
rachelpadilla77 The speed is based off of the speed of your motor.
did the rotisserie part come with the motor or is that separate? would love to know where in walmart you got the motor and brackets please. This is an awesome one that I have seen. Thanks for sharing.
I built this completely. The rotisserie came together and I added the wood base and part that I screwed it to and all the pvc parts. I bought it online so I have no idea where it's at in the store. Probably with the outside stuff during the summer if they have it in the store. Like grills etc.
Thank you for your info it's very helpful!
Thank you!
anyway you can tell me about how much it cost for all the supplies? Trying to decide if I want to make my own or just buy one pre made..
Ryan PELLEGRINE It Depends on what supplies you buy. To get started with minimal supplies and no rotisserie is at least a few hundred dollars.
Cup, supplies, Epoxy, Glitter, etc.
I would like to buy one that is level. The one i got from Etsy is not. Do you recommend anyone I can buy from who is reputable?
Absolute programming, kracken are two I’ve heard good things about
What is the RPM's you use? What do you recommend for someone who is a newbie?
I bought rotisserie motors and didn’t look at the RPM to see what they were. They’re a standard rotisserie motor.
I’m not sure if you mentioned in the video, if you did I apologize I didn’t catch it, but what was the cost of the material to build it? I’m sure the motor was probably the most expensive piece. Please and thank you 🥰🥰
I honestly don’t remember lol Motor was about 60 when I bought it. I used a rotisserie kit so it was more expensive than the regular motors you can buy. I had the wood. The other parts were less than $10 😊
@@MinderellaCreations thank you so much for your time. Greatly appreciate it. One quick question if I may. Where can I get good quality decals.? Or I know some people make them without a printer. But I’m not sure. 💕
@@asteriaramona3463 I make mine. You can purchase from other makers from Etsy as well. 😊
Hi Mindy, I have watched both your videos on turning. Along with quite a few other ones, they all are amazing. In your opinion which works best, hand turning or rotisserie, what do you prefer? Also how do you adhere your labels on the bottoms do you epoxy them in as well, I only seen the label applied on a glittered bottom video, not on a stainless bottom. Maybe I missed it in another video. Thanks!
L Griggs Rotisserie is the best way because you don’t have to sit there. I think hand turning gives the best results though. I still do both. I use labels from Stickermule. They can go under or over and are completely weatherproof.
You can check my Facebook page to see all my cups.
facebook.com/MinderellaCreations
Minderella1225 Thank you, and thank you for the videos. You take your time and are extremely informative, it is very appreciated. Your creations are awesome and you are a amazing!
L Griggs no problem! Thank you!
Have you made a glitter hydro sports bottle? I know you use the football to hold tumblers, but I can’t figure out what to use when making a sports bottle.
Joann Wehrenerg I use a smaller pool noodle on the pvc
Hey Mindy, Thanks for the video. Can you tell me what you used to cut the metal rotisserie rod please. Thank you!
Kimberly Effert Hand saw.
Can u tell me what the name of the pink cup Turing? I love it
What color glitter is on that coffee mug ?!?! It’s gorgeous 😍😍😍😍
Meghan Dash If you’re talking about the coral one, it’s a custom mix I made called Coral KISS. 😊 Thanks!!
Tysm for the video.how long did you cut the pvc pipe ?
I have been doing personalized wine glasses and mugs for quit sometime. I have been researching this method and I have fell in love. Im excited about trying it. Can I purchase one of these from somewhere or is it a dyi. I’m not good at building. Love your work
Shirl Sample You can find some of them offered on Etsy and various places online. Good luck!
Thanks.
Is the a list you can send of the materials and measurements you used. My daughter and I going to attempt to make it. I seem to like the way you made yours.
Shirl Sample I didn’t have a list but did note at the end what you’d need. I didn’t measure anything and you’d want to do it for your specifications and what you are working with. I tried to keep my base at about 12 inches.
Minderella1225
Thanks. I will purchase materials and attempt to make. Thanks again. Will let you know I how I make
Great tutorial Mindy. Few questions, did you wrap the entire 12” length of the rod or only the portion of the rod that is under the first two connectors? Also, how long did you cut the pvc pipe?
Sherry Lund Just the width of the tape, under the connectors. I want to say about 12 inches
Thanks Mindy. My wonderful husband is putting my turner together. 😬👍
Since the pvc pipe screws on, do you use that while making your tumbler then screw it on after putting on the epoxy to dry?
Joann Wehrenerg That was my purpose in doing them like this, but I honestly don’t. I should. Lol. I usually just get busy and forget about it.
Where's the video on that coffee peach glitter mug? It's pretty
Byrdie Guevara I have a mug tutorial, but I don’t do tutorials for every single cup I do, so I don’t have one for that.
Is there a written list somewhere for the supplies needed?
Ashley Asurye I don’t have a written list because how everyone chooses to do it and the supplies will be different. I do have a supplies tutorial where I have all the main supplies I use linked.

Thank you
Do you make any of the 10 oz tumblers? I have and I thought I found a ball that fit to use with my rotisserie but a 10 oz tumbler I did last night fell off
:(
Do you have any suggestions on how to do the 10 oz cups on the rotisserie? Thanks.
Ashley Shirk The smaller football or the round ball should work.
Do you have any idea why I would have a hesitation in my Turner every once in a while?
Not sure. I’m not the best with turner issues. From what I’ve seen the motor isn’t lining up, or not supported or various other things.
I’ve looked all over for the tape.... can you tell me exactly what kind and where to find please ?
Traci Ladd did you check my video description? It’s linked there. 😊
Hey there! I have a single turner, but need to do some revisions, and this is perfect! Question-did you tape the rod where the connector piece is? Just curious how to keep the pvc stable on the metal rod. Hope this makes sense, haha!! Thank you!!
Lacy Browning If you watch the end of my supplies video I show it a little better. I wrapped the bar with silicone tape. Held it really well!
Minderella1225 Awesome! I was in such a hurry to go get my supplies, lol, I didnt even pay attention! Thanks, girl!!!
When the epoxy cures, can it be washed in the dishwasher?
Sam Garofalo No. hand wash only.
Hello thank you for posting this video. How did you make sure the metal rod was centered inside the pvc pipe
Sandra Maurais It doesn’t matter as much for me since the ball is on the pvc pipe. I used the silicone tape to fit it snug
@@MinderellaCreations Does your cup still stays level with it like that? Does the epoxy dry level all the way around? Sorry for all the questions I'm a newbie
@@sandramaurais4 I haven't had issues with it.
good morning Minderella
I’m having an issue with my turner. Could you suggest a good turner?
Latoshia Carr Lots of options on Etsy.
Mindy, how is the first white connector attached to the rod from the motor
Felita Winn it’s stuck onto the rod where I wrapped silicone tape
Could you show how this was done please. For the life of me I can't seem to wrap my brain around it.
Where do you get the bigger footballs? I'm using floral foam right now but the 30 oz cups always slip a little and I'm afraid they will fall off if i'm not watching.
I purchase both the smaller size and the bigger size footballs from Dollar Tree.
Thank you!
Awesome
Would you be willing to sell the entire unit? I purchased all of the equipment to build one and this has been nothing short of a nightmare.
I do not build them to sell. I’m sorry.
how much bar do u have coming our of the motor? my bar was 40 inch and I'm not to sure how much to cut off.
Michelle Guzman-Dixon I have about 8-10 inches
Mindy, great video. I didn’t hear what type of mat that u use to prevent the epoxy from getting on the wood. Can u let me know where u bought it? Thanks
Kim's Gaede Silicone baking mat or wax paper.
Mindy, thanks so much. Ur fantastic taking time to help everyone else. I appreciate ur quick response. Have a wonderful, blessed day.
Does the pvc pipe unscrew to hold onto while working on the cup?
Mine does and can, but I never unscrew them...I have other pvc pipe with footballs on them and just take it off and put it on the other one when it's time.
How long after the epoxy for it to dry?
It cures in 8-12 hours, 72 full cure for typical epoxy. Read the instructions and manual for each epoxies specific cure times.
😍 Wow, this is great! Are you selling them? I don’t think I have your skill to make one...
Sue Caballero I sell on my Facebook page but am currently taking a break
facebook.com/MinderellaCreations
Minderella1225 😍 I can imagine...they’re so popular right now and you’re look awesome!
Sue Caballero Thanks!!
Hi Mindy. Where do you buy your tumblers? I'm trying to find them for a reasonable price,
I have all my supplies linked in my supplies tutorial.

Hi Mandy! I’ve been watching you channel and fell in love. My question to you is have you ever made a rotisserie for anyone if so I would gladly like to do so I’m not a great builder but I know this is what I wanna do and this is the only thing holding me back from getting started. I love what you do because there very detailed video but anyway looking forward to hear back from you.
Hi Wykinna...thanks for watching! I don't build them, but there are quite a few sellers that sell them on Etsy. Take a look there and search for "Cuptisserie". Should be set once you get one!
Yes ma’am I was looking through the comments and seen that but thank you very much.
I’m having a hard time finding your comment this my first having conversations on here sorry..lol
Wykinna Traylor It probably notified you that I “loved” your comment. 😊
Yes that’s what it was lol. I realized afterwards lol. I feel so silly
whats the dimensions of the block of wood with the half moon?
Riki you wouldn’t use my dimensions since everyone will be a tad different. You’d want to see what would be level and be sure your pvc will rest level.
Can anyone tell me approximately how many ounces of glitter it takes to make one tumblr?
Depends on your method used. If you base paint your cup or not. I would say 1/4oz
How long is the pvc pipe that holds the cup & fotball on?!
Moriah Zbin 12-14 inches
Do you use the long metal pole inside the piping?
You are lucky you have a dollar tree with those balls, in Australia we don’t have them anywhere.
I did. I taped the pvc to the metal rod.
Thanks for taking the time to reply
what is the usage of that machine?
To turn tumblers like you see on it. I seal my tumblers in epoxy and since it’s self leveling it needs to turn continuously.
Where would you recomed getting the rotisserie motor? I'm not sure where to find a motor like that.
Ada Stout My motor is linked in the video description. 👍🏻
Minderella1225 Thank you! I looked but somehow I over looked it... But Thank you again and for sharing!
Ada Stout No problem 👍🏻
I love your method. How far did you tape the rod?
Kaitlin Holland I only put the silicone tape in one spot. Thick enough that the pvc had to be forced on so it doesn’t move.
Awesome! What is the glitter color you used for the gray cup? It is fabulous
Rhonda Gibson Thanks! It’s recollections bling!
I think the grey cup is one of my all-time favorites. Do you have a video on the making of that cup?
I also just built a multi-cup turner. You can view it on my page. The page is brand new and only has two or three videos. The turner turns 3 cups at a time. Very small and compact
MyLife Productions I don’t have a video on the silver one. Thanks!
It's really nice. Probably one of my all time favorites. Is it just glitter or glitter over the top of some paint ?
Awesome! Can you make it for me and I will purchase it?
Rhonda Forte Thanks, but not planning to sell the turner. There are many people who sell them on Etsy that you can check out if you are not interested in building your own. Thanks!
Thank you! Found them on Etsy!! Thanks for the information! YOU ROCK!!!
Do you have contact info for footballs that are predrilled?
Stacy Cecil Featherbeardesigns@gmail.com
Let me first say that I love your work. I was wondering if you could share your measurements for all of the boards that you used?
Cindy Hays I don’t have the specific measurements as we just eyeballed what we did and how we put them together. I’ve changed mine around a little too so am not able to get them.
About how much glitter goes on each tumbler?
About 1/4oz or less. Depends on base coat, application method, size of cup etc.
Hi! I just LOVE your glitter! Where do you buy it from?
Chonsie Eechaute check out my supplies video!
Chonsie Eechaute check out my supplies video!
How long after you put 1st coat of epoxy do you wet sand? Do you use
a particular grit paper? Sorry to be a pest. Love your video.... watched it many times. Also didn't know that music and now I love it!
Janice Brigance I usually wait at least 12 hours to wet sand. It needs to be hard to touch. I use 400 grit sandpaper. Glad you liked the music!
Can we get more details on the slow spin motor? From Walmart? From what department?
This is the one I purchased:
www.walmart.com/ip/Dyna-Glo-Universal-Deluxe-Rotisserie-Kit-for-Grills/49689772
I just bought one last week and let me tell ya it was hard to find! Almost left without it. But it was in the outdoor grilling area where they sell anything you would need to barbecue. Mine was right before you get to the outdoor garden center. It was 29.99 and it was the cheapest I could find anywhere even on amazon.
cravemakeup87 Nice!!
I got a similar motor in the Grill Accessories area at my local Lowes.
Do you have a website where you sell your cups
DOLORES FALCON I have a Facebook page. facebook.com/MinderellaCreations
How do you make your decals for the cups?
Lauryn Sheriff I use a silhouette Cameo to cut adhesive vinyl.
@@MinderellaCreations thank you thank you so much!!!
How much did it cost to make this?
Lauren Satterlee Probably $50. I already had the wood. Got the motor on sale for $40. Bought the pvc and football.
HELP!!! I can't find ANYTHING that will hold onto my 30oz cups! They keep falling off. It is driving me crazy!!!
Jennifer Lawton I use the bigger footballs from dollar tree. Never had one fall. Shove it down in there
@@MinderellaCreations I have a football from the dollar store and that puppy pops those cups right off, doesn't matter how far down I shove it down in there. I have tried the foam you use to make flower arrangements, but after a cup or two it doesn't work anymore because it's taken that shape and the cups fall off......one rolled across the kitchen floor with fresh epoxy.... :(
Jennifer Lawton I have not had that problem. The footballs hold well for me. I’m not sure how it would pop off if it’s on there good. Mine don’t move at all. I would make sure you are using the appropriate size for the cup.
Hi..where do you find you vinyl decals?
Latoshia Carr I cut them on my Silhouette Cameo.
Minderella1225 I LOVE watching your videos listening to your gospel music. I am a believer also. I am contemplating starting a business with different crafts. I want to become successful so I can be my own boss and not have to work outside my craft.
Hi can you tell me how to price cups or how you price your cups.
Eli Betancourt It really depends on a lot of variables. You’ll want to factor in all the supplies it takes to do it, from the cup, the epoxy, glitter, tape, gloves, to the packaging and all. Then I have a charge for my time that I factor in because each cup takes no less than 6 hours each. From taping, to glitter, to Epoxy, to designing/cutting/applying the decal, another Epoxy and packaging.
Aswome i am really thinking about do this i have never done it but you make it look easy and really would like to learning more from you thank you. Where do you buy your supplies from like the epoxy and glitter
Recently boughg a cricut explore air 2 Nd this would be a great way to use it also. I make custom t shirts and would like to try something else
Eli Betancourt If you haven’t done it I would advise to make them for a while before selling. Once you get the hang of it, it isn’t too bad, but it takes time to figure out what works best for you and what issues can happen. I made them for gifts for a year before I sold my first cup.
Where did u get the brackets from
They are elbow brackets from any hardware store.
@@MinderellaCreations thank u
I hope you patented these! 😉
I didn't come up with them, but made my own design. :) I'm not trying to sell them so I don't care if others create them like it. :)
Ohhh, gotcha! :) @@MinderellaCreations
Nice video but you really didn't break down how you made it that would a been easier said just say in this little part this little part it would have been at more helpful to do it step-by-step
I already had it built and was asked how I made it so I did a video to explain. I didn’t want to make another one nor did I have the materials to at the time to build it as I made the tutorial. I’m sorry.
What the mat u got under the cups
Teenie Russ Silicone silpat mats.
Minderella1225 so u clean it or just leave it as is? If so how do u clean it?
Teenie Russ You can pop off the cured Epoxy.
Ok thanks
What’s the motor called?
Summer Lacey I don’t remember for sure...but I think it was the grill master from Walmart. It included everything for a rotisserie setup.
Summer Lacey Actually it’s linked in my description.
Sorry i didn’t even think to look there
Summer Lacey no worries!
Can’t hear you
My apologies
i cant hear you at all..
xoxCynnaminkissesxox It’s a little late to change it now. 😆
How did you cut the semicircle?
daniella441133 used a dremel to sand it out
