  • The North Anthony Corridor has been an important commercial destination for residents of Fort Wayne's northeast side since the 1950s. Generations of neighborhood residents have walked and bicycled, as well as driven, to the stores on the Corridor, and current residents still express a strong desire to shop locally.
This address (3109 North Anthony Boulevard) was a successful supermarket from the opening of Roger's Market in 1955 until the forced closure of the current Scott's Market in 2012 due to the structural failure of the building.
Neighbors express a strong desire for a supermarket to which they can walk and bicycle, and other businesses on the Corridor receive questions about the opening of a new grocery daily.
This is a proven successful supermarket location in a well-established, stable and desirable neighborhood, with support from neighborhood shoppers and the City of Fort Wayne, just waiting for a new grocery to be successful for another 55 years.

2020 and still nothing but a dollar general down the road. Wish that building didnt fail so Kroger didn't have to close it.
