Great tips. People need to be forward thinking and always learn the latest to get ahead of the crowd. I know a man who likes reading old books. He keeps computer manuals from the 1980s & 90s. Don't think referring to old knowledge that has become obsolete would get him very far.

Right now I am reading, "Zero to one", I didn't really had a habit of reading at all, and I was everything but a reader, I started by reading fictions that got me into habit of reading and now I have stopped finding fictions interesting from when I have got the taste of non-fictions and business books, I read almost 110 pages in one day while traveling, book was in my hand, and I kept reading in taxi and trains, it felt great that I actually have attained this habit. And the amount of information I have right now I couldn't have really attained if it wouldn't have been for books. Hey elon. Im at my 7th grade and after not even studying i had to study really hard for my exams. I had a problem and that was that i couldnt focus on anything that i read and all that. You know when i think about going to university and studying for 8 hours a day i fell really bad and i feel that its really hard to do that. My mother tells me not to think about them but i just cant. Like its really hard for me. Whenever i think about studying i feel that its the hardest thing in the world. What do you think i should do?
Hi @Hami Ummm... I remember being bothered about studying at that stage too - My mum also told me an average university should study 8 hrs and I barely did 30 mins But now... I could for really long periods like 8 hrs, But that's not important for you right now ... Start small 2hrs a day, here's how... First, if you've been listening to what Elon says about studying it's not about the amount of time... It's about efficiency- focus ,concentration Try to fix times when you can study... You want to lock yourself in a room or something or in isolation... Avoiding every distractions... With your singular purpose to understand what you're studying Put in all your focus and energy into it... And when it seems your energy levels is dwindling (perhaps after 30 - 40 mins), take a short break(5 - 15 mins.) During your break, you want to do something unrelated to what you're studying ... So you can come back refreshed If you continue and make this a habit, there's no limit to how far you can go Good luck Hami, wish you all the best😊
my 2 cents: I improved my learning and quality of life of at least 300% when I have banned: social media, disabled mobile notifications, stopped watching tv (extremely toxic) and tv series, stopped playing videogames, porn and faps all banned. Substituted all with: good books, online courses (some paying, you are more motivated), good sleeping (books help on this), a bit of social isolation except for only some interesting/smart guy that are very important to keep in touch. Be curious, passionate, don't do what majority do, cultivate your imagination, be always extremely positive, search God as he is the source of wealth and wisdom... In the beginning it seems hard, but soon it will become an habit.
