So ive learned from this video there is no difference between hardstyle and so called "reverse" bass - its just "hardstyle" Some tracks have the dancey, offbeat intro, some dont, theyre just hardstyle. And no, playing bass on the kick is not reversal, its called accentuating the drum - and that's been a habit of bass playing for quite some time Rant over. Btw this track is BANGING
@@kzrrz kind of right and wrong, for the majority of hard trance, it would typically be a 'synth transition' used between kicks and it wasnt until the late 90's/early 2000s that they started using a reverse bass.

Don't forget that hardstyle was initially reverse bass. The hard distorted 909s didn't come until later.
