(Sister here) Mom and dad were married 70 years. Just before she died they celebrated the 70th. Re: The garbage compactor story was worse. The garbage can had wheels. He would climb into it and jump to compact and save more room. He ended up with a head injury and stitches at the hospital. We made quite a spectacle when the ER people found out a 90 plus man was jumping up and down in the garbage can. When we left at 3 am. I told the lot of them they could thank me later for this nightly entertainment. 😂
Ohhh I wonder if that putting one foot out of the blanket to cool off is universal? At least for women! My father, has never understood my mom doing that, and my ex husband never understood my doing that, but it works! Tell Macy that backstroke was impressive!! Poor Credence, I think you got a fish that was dropped on its head as a baby!❤
Good afternoon Angela! I agree with you about the color grey. I say it feels like prison grey. It’s cold and institutional feel. When we remodeled our kitchen I told the cabinet painters I hated grey. So when they started painting the lower cabinets with the color I chose the were worried that it was grey. But when it all came together it was actually like a cadet blue. 😊. My husband used to also not wear anything new. As he got older and gaining weight he found that he had new stuff at the bottom of his drawers he could no longer wear 😂. Needless to say, he doesn’t wait for years any longer to wear his new stuff

I love your Sunday outfit. I wish people at my church dressed up, but everyone wears jeans and tshirts or sweatshirts. It seems like nobody dresses up in my city. I dress up, but not many do. I just like an excuse to wear pretty clothes. 😊 It looks like your grandkids enjoyed the water toys. Their so cute.
for the mask where the elastic goes around your ear.. give the elastic a twist before you put it over your ear and it holds it tight enough against your nose it keeps from fogging your glasses... totally agree so happy masks are gone except for some doctors offices .. I have walked into a few and was asked to wear a mask
I totally understand your love/frustration. My husband was the same way (he passed away last year). What was more frustrating was when he did start to use the item(s) he wouldn't acknowledge their usefulness.
Aww your Mum and Dad sounded exactly the same as mine. They worshipped each other and we’re fantastic role models. Unfortunately my partner is nothing like my Dad, he’s pretty old school even for a 60year old and like Jamie, wouldn’t dream of using the washer or doing housework, nevermindI still love him 🤷🏻♀️😂

I carry a carribeener(spelling?) on my keyring, so when I go grocery shopping I latch my purse to my grocery cart. So I've never had a problem with somebody trying to snatch my purse. I even carry extras in my purse so I can give them to people in the store that (I think) could use a little help to keep themselves safe ❤

I bought a dog whistle from Temu hoping it works on the dogs next door. She has 2 small yappers that bark, loudly and a beagle. It sounds like they are in my living room. They bark at everything and nothing. They're my alarm clock set for too early and let me know when someone is walking down the sidewalk, and I don't want to know. They bark in the middle of the night, I've been here 3 years of that. Pray for me that the dog whistle works lol! I'm about to lose it!!

Actually, it is 1:30 am an as usual i am still up and about and watching this certain lady's video and she pulls out this hat and guess what i broke out in total laugh " out loud".
