The feature at 1:31 was lost years ago. Are there any plans to bring it back? In the current version, you cannot handwrite as shown in the video; instead, it asks you to use the bottom input box, which is absolutely horrendous and the reason I stopped using this app.
I am unable to handwrite my task in the Microsoft todo list? When I click on + side to add task, a small window appears to add talk. Stylus doesn't work in that window. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Do you know a keyboard shortcut so when you trigger it opens a window or Todo app so you can quickly add tasks whereever you are on Windows without the need to open the Todo app and without using a mouse.
@@oztabletpc I didn't think of that thank you. But it is still one step more than what todoist does - OneNote also launches with WIN + N - it would have been good Todo had a similar functionality.
I have to say I’m really disappointed now that I have seen your whole video series on One note. I thought this would finally be a good program to use with my new surface. So to catch myself up I watched your whole videos Series. I learned a lot. I mean a lot. Wow. I am so disappointed I have not been using this even with just a keyboard. So why am I disappointed? Well now let me go watch all the power user and advanced videos on OneNote. I already learned how to do that, and that, yep that one too, yes that I knew.. you ruined all the advanced videos by already teaching me everything!!! Thanks for the videos needless to say they were very helpful.
for some reason when I try to handwrite in the app like you did it just erases itself, but when I try in the typing box it brings up the ink to text feuture

If does not maintain your handwriting, then it defeats the purpose. Once it does keep handwritten text, I will definitely use it.

Good question. I don't have an answer, but I'm sure there would be a way.
WIN + number launches an app that is pinned to the Taskbar. Have you tried that?

Has Microsoft removed the function of writing tasks directly into To-Do? Not working for me. :-(
It has changed a bit. Tap on the field with your pen and a box appears that you can write on. It's not as good as it was sadly...
Heyyy, have you tried the surface go? Do all the tips that you share can be applied in that too?
Yes, absolutely. Everything in this series is usable on Surface Go, Pro, Book and (with a few exceptions) Studio.

Yes. I have the same issue. I'd like to be able to handwrite in the app, as shown in the video. But it seems the app has now changed.
