    Excellent video, as always, thanks! One caution: when converting ink to text in OneNote, you lose the handwriting. So if there's a conversion mistake, you don't have your handwriting to review for the correction. My workaround is to copy the handwritten page, and then do ink to text on the pasted page, thus preserving the original handwritten page for reference.

      Good advice. Text book copy of the advice I give in training!

    I write a lot of equations, and you can do something similar with "ink to equation" as well.

      Use the OneNote app and take a look at the Ink to Math function on the Draw menu.

    Hi
    Nice demo...
    just wondering how to convert handwritten to text to other languages. I was looking for "Kannada" language and did the required downloading. but it was still searching for language pack. What can be done ?

    • @oztabletpc
      @oztabletpc  2 года назад

      Unfortunately it looks like the Kannada language pack does not have support for handwriting recognition yet. Use the Windows Feedback app to suggest that it gets added.

    any chance you can advise if MS offeres handwriting recognition for Bulgarian language ( we use cyrilic letters )? thanks

    • @oztabletpc
      @oztabletpc  3 года назад

      Unfortunately Bulgarian does not have handwriting support. Go to settings > Time & language > Language > Add a language. There you can search for a language, and you can see icons for each feature that is supported. If you search on Cyrillic, you'll find that the Serbian language does have handwriting recognition. I'm not sure that it would be helpful for you, but if they have support for Cyrillic, then hopefully they'll expand the languages available. I'd suggest submitting or voting for support for your language in the Feedback app (get your friends to do it too!). There would be a Team in Windows that deals with languages specifically, and your feedback would go straight to that team.

    Off topic.
    Can i lasso tool a section of an online pdf and insert it into Onenote?
    I use Chrome because i cannot figurer out how to use Edge.

    • @oztabletpc
      @oztabletpc  5 лет назад

      You can use the inbuilt screen capture tools like Snip & Sketch or the Snipping Tool to lasso select. Then paste into OneNote. Not sure if that suits your needs?

      @@oztabletpc I found snip it.
      Never knew of that but it Works fine :)
      I am currently at some courses and i have a problem when inserting pdf print outs as you showed in another video.
      The pages in the PDF are being placed as individual images that I have to move around individually and individually mark as page backgrounds.
      Can I have PDF printouts inserted as ONE file?

    • @oztabletpc
      @oztabletpc  5 лет назад

      @@AndreasDK1982 you can attach or link the file to OneNote. I don't know of a way to print it as one individual page. Perhaps you could adjust the page setup for the print.

      Sorry, I'm not sure that you can. It doesn't look like handwriting recognition is available for Arabic. Perhaps someone else knows a way...
