Fun fact, Schrade makes an analog to that knife called the SCHF3N and its under $50. Looks almost identical but its 8CR13, so its lower grade steel. I volunteer this info as most folks won't have the budget for a CRK at any point in their life, but they might like the looks and feel of the Schrade.

I got several Schrades .....my latest addition is the Delta class exertion (AUS10). Very easy on the wallet....works for me.

I like just about all Chris Reeve’s knives. Loved the hollow handle knives he put out 20 years ago.
I have a few favorite “Survival” knives. They are in various kits and bags.
I got in on the prototype of the Bark River JBA. Definitely worth the wait on that one. I keep it in my Jeep kit.
Another of my favorite’s is the TOPS Tahoma Field Knife. Mumma Bear and I both have them in our wilderness packs.
I have an Entrek Ranger that I carried on a three month walkabout in the summer of 2005. Middle of May until the end of August hiking in Montana, Idaho, Utah, and Colorado. It served me well. I didn’t like the Persian tip so Ray Ennis was kind enough to turn it into a drop point for me. Still a fantastic knife.
My favorite knife overall (I keep saying it) for any outdoor excursion is my TOPS Armageddon. I’ve used it on everything from to chopping down small trees, to cleaning fish for breakfast.

Curious to know if you walk around 24/7 with the Pacific strapped to your hip? Because if you don’t your Only Survival Knife will probably be in the kitchen drawer.

Prefer the green beret. Less gimping rips up my hands a bit less. No dedicated finger choil, but the ricasso is big enough if care is taken.

You really have to handle a LTWK Illuminous 5. Then you will have two favorites. They make the knife when you place an order, or did for me. Sharpened Edge: 5.5″, Steel: 5/32″ , CPM-3V 👍🏼

YOU wont miss a LOT !!!...I really , really REALLY dont think s45vn is better than s35vn !!!... Little bit more rust resistant , but less tough , edge retention is the same ... s45vn is NOT a upgrade !!!...

I'd have to go with the WCSK, as close to a one tool option as you can get... IMO of course. Nice video dude 🤙🏻

Arguably not. Holds an edge for longer, not as tough, harder to resharpen. Plenty popular tho !
