I was one of the people that asked about it on instagram, I’d like to say I knew what I was looking at but unfortunately I didn’t 😂 I’m collecting items to do a dark academia wall and was looking for small ornate dark pieces of art. Great find Faye, probably a souvenir from when people used to do the grand tour of Europe. Still can find them in specialised shops in Florence and probably other places, very expensive of course😊

I think the box you showed is from India, I picked up similar when I was there. I think they come from the same place as the taj mahal. That may be why it was cheaper as may be modern, great vid thanks for sharing your research

This is what makes finding stuff fun, you knew it was quality, I've never heard of it but I'll looking for it now! I'm the same with things I know are worth something I've had three very fine needle point pictures I've been sat on for nearly a year now, I'm scared to upload them I know their quality and I want them to get what they deserve. I'm also stressed about posting them

I buy a telescopic picture frame box for the expensive pictures that I sell and also use bubble wrap and I don’t use Evri or Yodel for these but Royal Mail or UPS. You can get £150 insurance but I always feel it’s taking a chance as I don’t want to have to try to claim compensation. There is always a bit of a risk that works out fine mostly
