After purchasing much of my gear and making several system videos, I went on the LSHT, I decided to talk about my fanny pack and some of the items I carried and some of my clothing, what I liked about my backpack, but most importantly, I cover all gear that did not do well for me on this trip, mention where I'll be backpacking next and a holiday message to my subscribers.

I love seeing what everyone takes out on the trails with them 😊 I take hairbands too and have used them so many times! If my fingers are cold and I can’t work the zip on my jacket very well, I loop a hairband through the fastener to make it easier to pull up/down 👍 Merry Christmas to you! 🎄🌟

I’m planning to go mid February. I have the same food bag. I didn’t know if I needed to hang it or if I could keep it in the tent with me. Happy Holidays and I look forward to seeing your Guadalupe Ridge hike!

I love the idea of the fanny pack on the front! I paused your video in many places and made notes. Thanks for sharing what worked for you on the trail, I am thinking of getting the chair as my 1 comfort item

Count me in on team fanny pack! Finally tried one out on my last trip and it was so convenient. Especially for camera equipment.

I liked watching what's in your pack! 😁 Was the chair worth the weight? Trailrunners for me work fine on regular hikes, but when I'm really up in the mountains, I'm not so sure either... I still use boots there... 😀 Looking forward to your next adventure and Happy holidays to you too! Kaat

@@lizstrailsandtravels4624 Yes, i looked it up! It's about 500gr... Something to think about. I have a 'chair' where you need to put in your Sleeping mat. That's also ok in the evenings, but not during the day.... ATB
