  • On December 14th I set off from the western terminus of the Lone Star Hiking Trail attempting to set a new Fastest Known Time (speed record). I completed the 96 mile trail in 21 hours 46 minutes and 48 seconds securing the FKT. Come along for the journey!!!

I love that you swam across Stubblefield lake! Both legal AND true to the trail. Great job.

    I do about three days
But I sleep most of the time, and I take full gear
I also just walk across the bridge, but I wear a mask 😷

Hello! I'm looking to run the LSHT as well (not to set an FKT though, just a test of self). I'm a former PCT thru-hiker and a finisher of multiple ultras, so this isn't just a spur of the moment thing, but I could use some advice. Is there some way I could reach out to you and ask a couple questions about your experience?
