This scene definitely proves that Howard is a lot smarter than Sheldon gives him credit for, because he knows details about terms Raj and Sheldon used on the spot. Which means one of two things: 1. Howard anticipated EXACTLY what Raj or Sheldon would say and prepared his responses accordingly OR 2. He already knew the etymology of those words and could recall them at a moment’s notice
Actually, I know the etymology of those words, too, and I don't consider myself as too clever or freaky. I just went to school and happen to remember some of the stuff I learned there. But then again - I'm European, and latin is still tought at school here and there. It does not only help understanding scientific terms but gives a basic understanding of latin languages, too.
Even Sheldon admitted that Howard dressed as himself is annoying, yet he just couldn't recognized it was himself, means in Sheldon's mind, he's acting total differently everyday.
No, Sheldon believes himself to be superior to all and sees no fault with himself. Seeing someone dressed as himself, Sheldon will see the faults because his ego has already told Sheldon: "That's not me".
@elizabethcoppell6771 in the episode where Leonard and Penny try to put in a dinning table, Sheldon says it best about his actions "Sometimes the baby wins"
I find it weirdly touching that when Raj joked about Howard's bathroom schedule, Sheldon immediately understood and offered sympathy. He's not completely blind to the suffering of others, as long as he can understand the problem
What I've always wondered about is that despite so many references to comics, tv shows, movies etc. in the entire series there has never been a single mention/reference about WWE considering its popularity in USA and not to mention the entire world. I understand that the guys weren't really fans or any kind of sport but the characters, kaybade storylines etc which is involved there and which turned it into a movie like scenario should've really fantasized them!
They were pissed because Howard was just ribbing Sheldon, and stopped for the costume party. Sheldon and Amy were deliberately insulting Bernadette and Howard.
There’s also the fact that after this scene, Sheldon b*tched and moaned to Amy until she went to Bernadette to make Howard change his costume. They (Bernadette and Howard) weren’t happy about it and thought Sheldon was being a baby, but Howard did stop wearing the Sheldon costume and changed before the party. At that point, Sheldon had essentially won and he and Amy drew the social line by basically saying that dressing up and imitating someone is going too far. Then Sheldon and Amy showed up with their costumes of Howard and Bernadette, basically all but saying “We’re not doing this because we think it’s funny, we’re trying to hurt you.” Then, to drive that spiteful point even further, they weren’t doing impressions of Howard and Bernadette’s behaviors, they were just straight up insulting them while just being dressed like them.
Totally different situations: Wolowitz impresion was meant to have fun imitating Sheldon’s quirks. Sheldon and Amy intention was strictly to insult and humilliate Howard and Bernadette pointing out stuff about them they dislike. If anything, is Sheldon who couldnt take it; and Amy enables him. Just like Mary used to do.
Actually Howard could take it. It was Berny who couldn’t. And of course Sheldon couldn’t take it at all which is why he whined and cried and had his entire sense of self destroyed
I know this was supposed to be a bad joke, but I found it so irksome that Howard pulled this stunt with Raj and Leonard laughing at Sheldon’s expense. They find Sheldon’s routine habits annoying, so mocking them would make those habits funny.
You can see Jim trying not to laugh throughout this scene. I am assuming they didn't reshoot this as they would have lost the genuine laughs that Johnny and Kunal had.
One of the funniest scenes in the show and a fantastic comeuppance for Sheldon. His ego is so great he couldn’t recognize himself and how annoying he is. And remember this is the final season. So everyone saying his character grew? Think again
@thebigbang I know that what with Sheldon’s friend laugh or Howard dressed like Sheldon taken so far it’s like hurts someone I am so shame three’s of you
Considering how Sheldon treated Howard over the years, constantly ridiculed Howard for his chosen field of expertise, his education, his intelligence and more, i think that Sheldon got what he deserved.
Nice little jobs these guys have, never a boss around, 8 to 5, off every night, off every weekend, dress in a hoodie or cartoon tee, or anything they want; They don't even teach, they don't deal with students . I think maybe Sheldon taught a class for one episode .
If anything, this episode proved that anyone could be a manipulative condescending man-child because of how easy it is to be said character. Jim Parsons was actually never really needed. In fact, they could have made it so every season, someone else plays Sheldon Cooper as an homage to Doctor Who.

Yeah. But it's just a script in reality.
Or.. he read the script
It's the type of smartness that Sheldon doesn't get it... that's why he fails so much trying to prank the group in one of the Halloween episodes.

All four of them are professional scientists they’re all smart Sheldon is just an asshole.
Nailed it. One of the funniest scenes of all time. Sheldon almost sounds human when he says "You are being so annoying, stop it!".
Jim almost broke character, you can see he wants to smile so bad.
Love how he recognizes he is annoying but continues to do it anyway.
@@TnT_F0X I wonder if there is a blooper where Jim did break out of character in this scene?
Howard does incredible imitations! Very talented that way!
"You are being so annoying, stop it".
😅 Sheldon believes that's annoying and Howard didn't even mimic the most annoying Sheldon's habits.
Bazinga.
This is one of my favorite Howard moments.
Simon Helberg was the best actor of the show.
Sheldon: So you're laughing at me?
Howard: Well Actually Imitation is the highest form of Flattery.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
@@shann_rosea"...that mediocrity can pay to greatness".
As much as I like Howard's costume as Sheldon, you also gotta give props to Leonard's Inspector Gadget's costume
And also to the fact that Johnny Galecki's face got all red from laughing so much!
The smile of Leo is so real :)))
Even Sheldon admitted that Howard dressed as himself is annoying, yet he just couldn't recognized it was himself, means in Sheldon's mind, he's acting total differently everyday.

@@jeremyblackmouth3323Sheldon can't grasp the possibility of him being annoying.
In Young Sheldon he does mention at one point that he realized being annoying was a way to get what he wants. So sometimes he is annoying on purpose.
@elizabethcoppell6771 in the episode where Leonard and Penny try to put in a dinning table, Sheldon says it best about his actions "Sometimes the baby wins"
Honestly, I would've said, "I'm laughing because the very thing you're finding annoying right now, is the exact same thing you do on a daily basis."
This scene is absolutely great because the laughing is coming from Johnny and Kunal, and not from their characters.
Exactly. They're genuinely cracking up😂
0:33 Right when Howard walked in, you can see a guy laughing and shaking his head, he got the joke immediately!!😂😂
I find it weirdly touching that when Raj joked about Howard's bathroom schedule, Sheldon immediately understood and offered sympathy.

Sheldon & Howard: “HULLO!”
Howard's crazy face to Sheldon right after is priceless!
There’s was no way I could Neil Sheldon cooper as a Halloween costume. 0:48

Those moments where Sheldon is totally oblivious have to be some of the most hilariously funny moments of the show. 😂
Great show puts me in tears.
The writers of this show are uncredited geniuses.
Sheldon and Amy’s costumes as Doc Brown and Clara Clayton is absolutely my fave😸😸😸😸
i lost track how many times i watched this video of this scene
Omg he looks so different with out the little boy bowl cut I almost didn’t recognize him 😂☠️
That's always been my favorite scene always. 😂
You can see how hard Jim Parsons tries not to lose it. Very funny.
Jim Parsons looks like he's trying hard not to break character as Howard's Sheldon imitation is hilarious.
Which season and Ep. # please!

Howard ended up being a better Sheldon than SHELDON HIMSELF 😂😂😂

Great scott Lenard may be Classic gadget but would be creepy if Penney dressed as well penny

I would say that it’s a mix of having a great ego and not being able to read social cues. Which, you know, is an actual nightmare in social contexts.
Best scene ever
Imagine dressing up as a full out adult to celebrate a child’s holiday 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Sheldon is so strong . He doesn't laugh to his look
Sheldon has no problem with dressing up as other real people...
