- The Massed Pipes and Drums of Music Show Scotland, live at the Tui Arena in Hannover at the 14th of February 2015.
They are performing the tunes Castle Dangerous, Colin's Cattle, Far over Struy, The Campsie Hills, Come By the Hills and Cutting Bracken.

I am not English.... not Irish... not Scottish..... I am from al little town called Gronau in north Rheine Westphalia in Germany 🇩🇪...... and I love music 🎶 so much..... I began to learn the bagpipes... starting to learn the bagpipes was for me to handle the practice chanter...... now I am ill and I can’t breath enough to get a good sound of the chanter...... but I will never give up...... listening 👂 to pipes and drums 🥁 is very helpful to know that there is no reason to give up......I’ll not stop 🛑 listening..... sunny ☀️ and hopefully greetings from Germany 🇩🇪

I am English and love the sound of the pipes.many years ago I was in the TAVR on an exercise in the borders between England and Scotland when early one morning I heard the sounds of bagpipes coming across the hills.It was such a beautiful sound and I have loved that sound ever since,

Wir haben uns diese Show November 2018 in Antwerpen (Belgien) angesehen. Beeindruckendes Bühnenbild und abwechlungsreiche Musik: Mal mit Duddelsack, mal irisch und mal wird getanzt und gesungen. Wir waren total begeistert.
Wer diese Richtung der Musik mag, sollte sich das absolut mal live anschauen.
Wir hatten einen guten Platz: Block 150, Reihe 14, Sitzplatz 1 u. 2 An der Seite in der Mitte; am Rand einer Reihe. So hatten wir freie Sicht auf das Hauptgeschehen.

I've loved the pipes since at least the 1960's , NYC ,World's Fair, asked my parents to take a picture of a piper, I still have that picture somewhere
Love pipe and drum videos - search for them, This is among the best. Mixed band with their different tartans. Love the old drum major on the right. Black Watch - you can tell by the red and white checkered pattern. Long drum major fine too. And the Wallace lone piper at the end.

Funny reply, its estimated 1 in 600 Russians have Scottish DNA in there blood, we may be small but we do get around a bit. One thing bugs me, Dunkirk and the sacrifice of the 51st Highland Division, never recognized for what they did. If you have a few mins, watch ' 51st Highland Division St Valery' and '7th Argyles Betteville'.

When I thought: This isn't a true scottish castle, but a theater decoration, I was right. But this "castle" is very realistic, good artists work!

They seem to be from the Black Watch, British Army regiment garrisoned in Edinburgh castle, Scotland, UK.
They are a mixed group - Black Watch are the ones with the red nd white checkered headbands
Both the Argyles and the Black Watch wear the glengarry, the Argyles have an overlap in the 2 top rows of the checkered band, this results in a thin red line between the top and bottom rows, if you have a minute to spare check out why the 51st Highland division was sacrified to allow Dunkirk to happen, Check out on here ' 7th argyles Abbyeville', just a part of history some want to forget'
Briseur De Lance Black Watch is a Battalion not a regiment, and it's normally the Royal Scots Borderers and 3Rifles garrisoned in Edinburgh
true, they have been reduced to battalion strength, but to most Scots they a regiment. one fact, which pipe band played J.F Kennedy to his grave, requested By Jackie Kennedy.

In other comments I've asked what the difference in kilt color and sash color and placement. My comment now is to ask why the difference in head covering? I love this music but wish I understood the difference in all of the nuances of gear!
