He is a delightful child from what is shown…. And all kids have their days of being a mess emotionally. I also tend to have impressions of trying to keep up with Lenny… not getting to surf behind the boat and it just a little sucky that you’re never old enough to OR…. Is that my impression because that was my childhood 😂 🤔 😊many blessings

I remember a couple of years ago when Elayna was going through a bit of a young mother's uncertainty period, with all the insecurities and stresses associated with her life at that time. That is long gone now. A much more relaxed, strong and confident woman emerged from that period. This latest video is a testament to your abilities as the fantastic partner, mother and sailor that you are.

I was a swimming instructor for over ten years. I can see that Lenny's swimming abilities have come a long way. Riley and Elayna, it would be a good idea to introduced Lenny to the front crawl. He has mastered the doggy paddle, and he would greatly benefit from learning the next step in his swimming evolution. Noticed that once he put on the goggles and placed his head in the water, he looked a lot better. Great video as always. Stay safe.

@@gregorymatthies5297 At the very least he and everyone should be wearing a PFD when being towed. A bad or awkward fall with your head into the board can cause a concussion, knock you out or at least be very disorienting in the water. Seen enough accidents on tubes, skis, wakeboards, wakeskates / etc. to not mess around with this one.

Drills / practice are an EXCELLENT idea. If it were me, especially with two children aboard, I would be conducting several man-overboard drills ASAP. Especially interesting to see what retrieval equipment you have. Getting back to the person in the water is less than half the battle. Hoisting a tired/injured/or god forbid unconscious person out of the water and back on deck is (on a boat with as much freeboard as LV3) not easy - on a calm day. People often choose big wind and big seas as the time to fall overboard …

I stumbled on your movies a few months ago through Kara and Nate’s channel. I instantly fell in love with your personalities and sarcasm and moved over to your channel. I started by going a year back, then had to go back from the beginning, and finally had to become a patron.
When I found you both I was in a pretty tough spot with my long term boyfriend and just life at that point in time…there just wasn’t a direction or the drive to find it. But after watching your videos and both of you evolve over the years has reminded me of the things that we become blind to in our day to day lives, and to open my eyes to the things that truly make you happy to your core that you become numb to because it’s always right there. From everything you share with difficulties in relationships and personal issues, to all the happy moments that make you live in the present. I can’t imagine how hard it is to share those with the world but it has truly made a difference.
While going through the movies I always looked at the comments and you two have built and amazing community who is inclusive and fighting to get that adventurous spirit back. But you have stemmed discussions on ways to make these adventures sustainable and given solutions on how we can do better as well.
But this long winded message was to tell you thank you for your vulnerability (not only from Elayna but also Riley), your work ethic, your kind spirits, and your motivation to continue learning. It’s opened a lot of eyes from what I have seen (including my own) and it is truly fascinating how much you have changed my perspective and given so many of us new goals.
Also the new boat is so sexy…especially the chain and the choice of yellow🤙🏻

(Dr. Siggie) Lenny not only wants to simply mimic what you are doing anymore, that's more Darwin's age, he wants to "work" like you all do, be of use and feel important. As you are letting him know he cannot tie the ties that you, the crew, are tying, you can add: you will for sure one day, you just need to get a little older, but in the meantime you can certainly be in training as well. So get him a variety of ropes, hooks, and anything else you can find that is perhaps not in use anymore or right now, but is 100% the real deal, and tell him this is his "workshop". This way you are not risking him doing what he shouldn't, while also not dismissing his want and need to take part in what he sees as the crew not only working hard, but also making "important" decisions, and overall being "important".

Forrest didn't have patience. Thank goodness the baby didn't cry. It must be hard to trust other people around your children. I had that problem. I trusted only my parents completely. @@maryquinn1706 if you are talking about Darwin when he was playing hide and seek, that was Riley’s voice videoing while lifting him out .. is that the scene ?
Or, when he pulled him out of the water into the dinghy, because that was also Riley ? I didn’t see any impatience though from either Riley or Forrest.

Practice man overboard drills under sail because one day someone is going to fall over and the boat will leave them behind in an instant. All adults must know what to do and how to do it by themself. Practice with a weighted fender with everyone working together, then each person by alone. One day it will happen and it will take far too long to get anyone below on deck in time.
Usually it happens in rough water, at night, in the rain, with high wind. It takes an amazingly long time to get turned around and go back. The faster the boat, the more dangerous it is.

Elena, you can make your own sour dough bread it's time consuming its basically flour and water i dont know why im telling you this you probably already know this sour dough bread is the only bread my family eats its so much better for your body due to the fermentation process it just breaks down better then other breads i really want to also thank you for helping lose 105 pounds in a year i need too lose another 50ish pounds i have severe arthritis so I've done this by doing chair exercises eating right and riding my stationary bike if Darwin can do a push up so can i im adding that to my exercises thank you for encouraging me throughout my journey you're one of my top channels i watch i even go back and watch some of your old video's just in case you're interested i live in the United States of America and the state i live in is New Hampshire i can't wait to see the places you travel with your new La Vagabonde three

You are very bright, creative people and I’m sure you could have come up with something other than wasting food and degrading the only female on board by caking her in raw egg, flour, oats, and Nutella.
