I'm sure after two years you know to wet them to remove the skin easier? You can roast those green ones in the over for 30 minutes and that skin peels off in one piece.? Big hugs
That was really cool looking.I would like to know how you can clean your loofah after a few uses in shower. Is there anything other then rinsing, shaking off and leaving to dry that we should know. Thanks for the video.
In Meghalaya, one of the states of India this product has been used in various types of cleaning works for centuries. It is one of the local product. It is eadible when it young green... and turned loofah, as you showed it here.
Looks so easy, good to see a demo
Mine are totally brown and dry and they peeled super easy.
Estas esponjas é muito usada no Brasil. Vende-se em feiras livre e em supermercados. São excelentes!

You got it! Shake off the water in the shower and just leave it there for the next shower. I change mine when it get too soft and compact.

Thank you for your comment. I hope to make a video this season on how to grow loofah & use it, like you shared, as a food too!
Hello...the seeds that you removed from the light green colour luffa in the beginning of the video...were they viable seeds!thank you
They could have been as they were black... but the best ones to use are from the brown loofah.
@@mariapage4753 thanks for your help 😊
Necesito semillas y una liga.conpleta.sin.avrir yo le saco las semillas en cuanto me la vende
What happened to my loofah?
Did I wait too long?
Let’s just chuck everything in the bushes!! 🤣🤣
I have a few spots in the garden where I do this! Weeds too! It breaks down and becomes soil!
I planted luffa this year, I hope I get some.
Any luck?
Thank you for sharing. May I buy some loofah seeds from you?
How long is it placed in water prior to this process?
Just enough time to soften the skin so that when you take it off it doesn't pull the fibres but leaves it smoother.
