Great video! As someone who grew up in Oregon I would say Seaside is probably the worst town on the coast. It's like Oregon's Jersey Shore. Astoria is super cute if you have a chance to visit, it's just a long drive from Portland. And the further south you go on the coast the less crowded everything is, especially during the summer. Newport is nice too. You could easily spend a week or two going all the way down to the southern coast, which is super beautiful. Anyways, definitely check out Bend too! If you're ever going the other direction 🙂

I grew up in the Midwest too! Hug Point was our favorite stop of the trip so recommend that for scenic on our route!
