Hey Frozen, I'm stopping by and rewatching this series. I remember watching it live every week as you hiked 4 years ago, and this is the first thru hike that I ever watched. I wanted to let you know, though you may never see this, that this series helped me plan for my own thru hike. I've wanted to hike the AT for years now. Call it something of a childhood dream if you will, and now, in less than a month I'm going to set foot on the trail myself. God willing, I'll summit Katahdin in the next six months. Thanks for making this series and making my own thru hike possible. Thanks Frozen. Happy trails out there

Loved the opening! Good luck. Take it easy in the beginning, hike your hike. I've seen to many start out gangbusters and either hurt themselves or just burn out. I know you have a hammock but don't forget to hang out at the shelters. That may be the best part of AT, your fellow hikers.

YEEHA!! here we go// so glad you are taking us all with you- interesting to me is the fact that you may be one of the most subbed to people to start the AT, and how that will affect your trip as in will you have huge groups of people meeting up and all kinds of stuff i cant even imagine... i mean most AT hikers start out with only a few subs and gain thousands along the way... you starting out with 27K, this should turn out to be a Huge amount of fun... So Excited to follow your hike !!

It takes a few months to get back into society for sure. It didn't happen quite at first, but I keep looking back on my experiences on the AT and growing fonder of those memories. I'm sure Frozen will be feeling the same way when he gets done. It still definitely worth doing
