There was my friend Steve Priest, I set up stages and sets for Sweet in the 70,s,and met Steve after he moved to Los Angeles, I met his lovely wife and talented kids, I called his wife last week and gave her my condolences tried hard not to cry about losing a very talented friend, I wanted to say goodbye to Steve and may God bless him well

RIP Steve Priest! Thanks Mitch! I'm an old Sweet fan! Let me say the truth: "2 Sweet were a bit strange for us". But we accepted as it was and loved Mitch Perry too. Very talented, modest, a real musician. On the other hand I think Andy Scott will do a tribute concert for Steve in UK after that Corona. Also do you think off a concert or a tour in the memory of Steve in USA?..
👍🎸 yes the younger generation don't get that bands like Sweet & especially Marc Bolan & T-Rex & Slade were brand new there were no other bands like them...they started it...and really they didn't have any before them to go by they did their own thing...so its an end to an era too 😔
