I will be 57 in two months. A fan of Led Zepellin from the Old days. The Gran Daddy of Rock Bands from the last 50 years and also the best...flip the page to today and this is my one other favorite Band. I love the maturity and wisdom in their lyrics and the arrangements are simply awesome! This is pure Rock, minus the childish, babyish silliness and ridicule antics of so many others who call themselves "Rock bands"!

I haven't listened this song for far too long.
This song speaks to me on so many levels. I have Multiple Sclerosis, but have had medical issues most of my life. I'm turning 40 this year and am so proud because I have been dealing with stuff a normal person has no frame of mind to understand. I'm celebrating because I have fought off everything life has thrown at me and I am relatively sane plus, I haven't ended anyone's life.
This song touches me because my whole life has been a series of lows and highs, but I have always had people to help me stand. When I could not do so on my own, I have had loved ones who carry my banner until I can hold it myself again. In turn, I help others because I understand hardship and am happy to lend whatever strength when I see others struggling.

My girlfriend had MS too and loves this song. My favourite one would have to be memories of angels. Take care with your ms and if you ever need to talk to someone I can put you in contact with my girlfriend.
I'm 37 and dealing with MS myself, was always very healthy until last year. I woke up blind in left eye and everyone thought was having a stroke but felt fine. Glad to hear that you never have to stand alone.

I am thankful to my sister who as a teenager showed me their music (I was just a baby back then). Ever since I loved them to this day. Now as a teenager they are my everything. My sister is an adult and has her own life. I've started developing my taste in similar bands like Within Temptation and some completely different ones too. And this all thanks to my sis. Now I want to make some money from part-time jobs to be able to fulfill her dream and to give her tickets to their concert for her 30th birthday which is around the corner. Wish me luck...

This was the first Within Temptation song I ever heard, nearly 20 years ago. I was hooked, and they've only gotten better since.

can't believe i've been listening to this for 16 years, what a journey!
Aside of all the talent involved, Within Temptation is connected with the best video-making productions of this niche of music. This is a real bonus to them because it causes guys like me (who are basically Bach, Beethoven, Brahms fans) to stand still for a few moments and listen. Once you do so then you notice the other admirable qualities that might otherwise get overlooked. I then started buying their CDs -- a really strange acceptance of musical excellence outside the classics.
Such a beautiful song. I realized this song describes me that well than any other song from any other metal band. This song saved my life, literally. Thank you for writing such beautiful songs!!!!!

This might sound weird, but I had this song on repeat a lot when I was coming to terms with being diagnosed with Asperger’s at 30 years old.
We really need a larger, higher resolution video! It's 2019, we have better screens and bandwidth on our mobile devices than we did on our PCs back in '06 so I think better videos are due.
I'm not saying they did it this way... But usually video producers record using a higher quality than the final screen resolution/quality the users have. If they did that and still have the original files, they could easily make a "HD version".
I like to play Within Temptation in the background while I play video games... Especially when there's that one level or boss that just keeps killing me. More than 15 years have passed since I met this band and this song. My friends and I grew up on these songs that taught us to be strong, to be free, to stand on the side of goodness, justice, peace, because this is the Heart of everything. Then we were 14-15 years old. Now we are 30. Many of my friends have left their homeland, the government of which unleashed an unforgivable war against the civilian population of a neighboring country. Those who remain are trying to somehow help the sick and helpless fellow citizens, on whom the government did not care before, and now even more so. But every day new inhuman laws are adopted. Every day it becomes more and more senseless to speak out against, because this will be followed by prison or death. We didn't manage to stand our ground. In our land now stand madmen in whom there is no compassion left. Each of us has only a small piece of land left, and a weak light inside, which they are trying to blow out from all sides. For the last two years, I have been listening to this song almost every day - like a prayer. And I hope that I will have enough strength to defend at least my truth and protect my conscience.
And today for the first time I also heard the song Wireless. And it's right about what I've always thought about. And in the epicenter of what I had to be. It is a pity that the meaning of these songs will be understood only by those who already understand that struggle is not always war, and war is not always a struggle for good.
