I was signed up for the teaser show and got in a few minutes early. My reception of the video froze. Did you see how a lot of people's froze as well? I was not a happy camper! It came in and out for a few seconds at a time. I even contacted Netflix and the person I spoke with didn't know anything and she asked me the most stupid questions. No, my Netflix reception was fine, It was the live show on an email! I changed devices and went to google. It didn't work. So my whole day was ruined. Anyway...I am so excited to see this show! I found out a little more about the couple. She was 17 when she came to marry the king. His mother was very controlling of him and what happened in the palace and she worked against Charlotte. She had spies all around the palace and she could not do anything without her mother in law knowing. Poor George started suffering from mental illness at about 29. But he seemed to come out of it for periods and was sane. But when he got really bad, it hurt Charlotte so much and scared her. She didn't want to be near him. But she fought for him. She had fifteen children and two died in infancy. Prinny, the first born went into debt, he wanted to be declared regent sooner but Charlotte fought against it. He and her son fought like cats and dogs. but Later reconciled and she supported him. Her daughters did not have many children. Some never produced an heir. But one of her sons did and he produced Victoria. They think he may have been bi polar. But it may have been more. It's so sad to see them carry him out of places and force him to leave. It was so sad at Anthony's almost wedding. But blessed little Edwina was so sweet to him.
I’m so sorry to hear about your experience with the teaser show :( it was glitching for me as well and at one point my screen froze too. I was scared to refresh the page in case I got booted off but thankfully it worked 😅 queen charlotte has had such a tragic life… I cannot wait to see how they construct the narrative for this story. And omg 15 children… and here I thought the Bridgertons were a big bunch haha. India looks absolutely amazing in this role and I’m so eager to see what she brings to the table. This is the first time a narrative tied to Bridgerton doesn’t guarantee a happy ending. I have every faith in the cast and crew to give us the best show possible.
What are your thoughts on the teaser trailer? 💕✨
"it's absolutely going to destroy my heart and shred it to million pieces but i can't wait" SAME ❤
